These Fred Humberstone tech tips are THE BEST online that I have found. His voice is clear, and there is no background 'noise/music' to distract those of us seeking methods and visual clarity regarding doing the tasks. Thank you for your great videos. One week ago I began the rebuilding process on my sister's 1975 MGB. While living in Manhattan Beach, we were both working for the airlines when she bought it new in 1975. It has the 50th Anniversary Gold Plated medallion embossed into the dash to the right side of the glovebox. It was driven a lot and now has 95,000 California miles on it. Sadly it was sitting in my cousin's farm yard for the past 5 years and needs new interior, and body & paint. Engine and transmission are perfect. Now I have it at my shop in Vegas to get it back in shape again for her driving pleasure. It is a wonderful opportunity to re-live some great old memories and also create new ones. These cars are wonderful to drive. My first MGB was a 1965 and we did a few performance improvements to make it a neck-snapping acceleration machine. Significantly faster than the 1975 smog-choked cars we have in California.

Hi Ken, thanks for the kind words. I'm glad to hear your MGB is now getting the attention it deserves. I'll have some more videos posted soon. While sheltering from the pandemic at home I was able to get a lot of work done on my 1978 B. Now I am back at my job and do not have all of the time I had to work on my cars. But work is progressing slowly on the restoration of my 1967 MGB GT. Next up, how to install the accessory center armrest and installing stereo speakers in the side panels beside the rear bench seat.

I've never actually tried JB weld before. I will have to give it a shot next time a captive nut lets go. Thanks for the tip!
