Hey guys, love your reactions but you should really check out the music videos for Ready for It, Look what you made me do, Delicate & End game too hopefully. The tour has to be seen to be believed & is an experience on its own, thanks so much!! ps swifties love reputation, the scores & Kanye be damned. This album didnt come out after the awards thing, kanye & Taylor made up after that, were friendly then it all blew up after he released a vile song with lyrics about her, then Kim released a highly edited phone call supposedly 'proving' she okayed it. The public turned on Taylor, Kim instigated the snake thing, & taylor went into hiding whilst Kanye released the video to the song with a naked waxwork of her. It was disgusting. &honestly you guys should react to one of the videos made about how Kim & kanye were exposed for lying after the full phonecall got leaked & proved Taylor right. Theres quite a few out there about how Kim & Kanye were shown to be lying! Its drama that is mentioned in songs beyond this album, including folklore & midnights so its worth knowing!!
Kanye did a lot more to Taylor than interrupt her acceptance speech when she was 19 and he was in his 30s. He also personally asked her to present him with an award years later after she had forgiven him. She did, and in his speech he said that the show only asked Taylor to present it to him for ratings. Years later, he called her about a song he was releasing. She did not approve some lyrics he was including. Actually, he did not tell her the most offensive part. He recorded the conversation and Kim edited the recording to make it seem that Taylor had approved the lyrics and that she was lying. The press and many others turned on Taylor. She went away for about a year and came back with this album. In 2020, someone released the full unedited recording and it proved that Taylor was telling the truth the whole time.
Many songs on Taylor's Reputation album were purge songs in reaction to the character assassination campaign Kim Cardashion launched on Taylor after Kayne acted like such an ass. Taylor was taken down to the mat emotionally so badly that she moved to London and couldn't bring herself to trust anyone. She wouldn't go out, she didn't even take phone calls because of the phone call Kim recorded illegally and edited and leaked which almost tanked Taylor's career. A few angry songs are mild compared to the crap Kim and Kanye did to Taylor.
To jumping to the songs of your choice, here you go! ✨🙃: 1• …Ready for it? ( 7:54 ) 2• End Game ft. Ed, Future( 15:14 ) 3• I Did Something Bad ( 24:01 ) 4• Don’t Blame Me ( 34:07 ) 5• Delicate ( 44:08 ) 6• LWYMMD ( 54:09 ) 7• So It Goes ( 1:02:42 ) 8• Gorgeous ( 1:09:36 ) 9• Getaway Car ( 1:18:00 ) 10• King of My Heart ( 1:28:07 ) 11• Dancing With Our Hands Tied ( 1:35:17 ) 12• Dress ( 1:41:23 ) 13• TIWWCHNT ( 1:49:42 ) 14• Call It What You Want ( 1:59:32 ) 15• New Year’s Day ( 2:05:56 ) Enjoy the reaction ✨🤟🏻🤍
Despite the critics knocking down this album, Taylor had the last laugh as it debuted over 1m on its first week. Personally, I love this album. Thank you, fellas.
i have been a taylor fan from the beginning. i followed her from country to pop and then indie and pop again. She can do any genre well. she is a good person and one hell of a singer/songwriter. she has been through a lot. i knew she was telling the truth and had faith that the truth would come out
Rep is my personal favorite album. I listen to it the most. I remember discovering Taylor on vh1 seeing Teardrops on my guitar. Love at first sight. I was never a country fan, but I loved Taylor from the moment I heard that song. Turns out my parents had her CD, they were country fans, I stole that CD immediately. 💜

Reputation turned me into a Swiftie! Until then, it was all cute, fun stuff with amazing music videos but when I heard Rep during pandemic, I sat up and took notice. Then Folklore and Evermore sealed the deal for me. She is evolving beautifully and sounds so much mature. I’m here for it and can’t wait to see where her journey takes us with her.
This! I still remember when I saw LWYMMD in 2017 and suddenly started paying attention. I wasn't really interested in her music before that, but once she came into her f*ck off era I was totally there for it. Been a swiftie ever since.
Same for me!!! Except that I heard it and fell in love as it we being released (I think LWYMMD coming out as first single was what made me stop and take a moment to see what it was all about) but Reputation was definitely my gateway album too haha 😂 and look at us now, who would have thought?
I always liked Taylor and for awhile during the Red era I jumped on the bandwagon of not liking her and her constant breakups. But then 1989 regained my confidence in her and I loved the songs. Then I saw the Reputation tour on Netflix and fell in love. That was the night I became a Swiftie
I'm 65 years old and became a swifty last winter after listening to Midnights, which led me to folklore, then evermore, then I started from debut and listened to all 10 albums from the beginning. Along the way I fell in love with reaction videos. I've watched dozens - many of which are very good - but I think I can safely say that you guys are my favorite. One thing that I wish some Taylor-positive reactor would do is invite a Taylor-hater to join them as a special guest to get their reactions to, say, folklore (or whatever album makes the most sense in light of their reasons for hating her). My theory is that the vast majority of Taylor-haters are people who have a misconception of her music because they've never listened to her (aside from overhearing a few of her almost unavoidable radio hits). E.g., people often say "She only writes bubblegum pop breakup songs that sound like they could be written by a 12-year-old." Obviously they know almost nothing about her discography - and these are the folks who I'd love to see get invited to an album reaction video. Of all the videos I've seen, I've never seen a genuine Taylor-hater reaction to a deep dive. (And, just to be clear, a "non-swifty" is not a hater. The haters tend to be vehement and seemingly never actually listen to her (so far as I can tell, based on their comments.) and thus they never do reaction vids.) Anyways, that's my rant. If you guys happen to personally know any haters, and you did a video entitled something like "Swifties invite hater to react to folklore" you'd would be breaking new ground, and I would be grateful (even if they don't end up liking Taylor). Oh, and BTW, I did watch your video to the end. I will be shocked if you waded through all of this comment to the end! ;-)
Omg I have SO MANY things to say about this iconic record! Firstly, prior to this Taylor used to do interviews and live performances etc to promote new albums up until 1989 but when she dropped Reputation there was nothing like that. As you read in the comment she had disappeared from the face of the earth, all her social media cleared of all pictures etc. Suddenly some clips appeared on her Instagram depicting snakes (which is what Kim Kardashian called her due to the Kanye fiasco and unfortunately it caught on). After a while LWYMMD dropped along with the video and maybe it’s not her best song but it was imo THE MOST ICONIC comeback in the history of music. The music video is a masterpiece, containing an insane amount of Easter eggs and jabs at anyone that had shaded her (mainly K and K, but also Katy Perry and others). What Taylor said about the record at the time was “there will be no explanation, there will just be reputation” or sth along these lines, meaning that she was gonna leave the music speak for her and avoid every conversation-interview-gossip about that drama from now on Edit: about the Kanye thing, the drama did not stop at the awards incident… supposedly he apologised to her and they made up after that… on TIWWCHNT she said “it was nice being friends again, here I was giving you a second chance” BUT a few years later he wanted to reference her name on his song Famous. He called to ask her permission but never told her actual lyric. Kim posted an edited video (on which you can hear Taylor being so uncomfortable but trying not to offend him) and on the edited version you can hear Taylor agreeing having her name on the song. So when the song was released and the lyric turned out to be “I could still have sex with Taylor, I made that bitch famous” Taylor got upset and said she never agreed to being called that. When Kim posted the video everyone called Taylor a liar and that’s when the # Taylor Swift is over party thing happened, which made her disappear. A few years later the original complete conversation was leaked and Taylor was vindicated. TIWWCHNT lyric again “ friends don’t try to trick, get you on the phone and mind twist you”. Also, in LWYMMD she says “I don’t like your tilted stage”, this is a reference to the tour K did at the time, on a tilted stage, when he sang Famous and the crowd was chanting F*ck Taylor Swift. So what he made her do was kill her old self (“I’m sorry, the old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now cause she’s dead”). In the music video, in the last scene someone says “what’s with that bitch?” And Taylor says “don’t call me that” (I’m trying not spoil things here, you should definitely check it out for yourselves! I’m just trying to focus your attention on the important things). These are some of the reasons why Reputation is a huge comeback, a huge clap back, a huge move to reclaim her power and narrative and then move on (you already noticed that she had her fun and her “revenge” songs but as the album progressed she made it about finding love in these dark times and not about the dark times per se). Also, her Reputation Stadium Tour was the most successful in the US at the time, I think the coming Era’s Tour is expected to gross almost double as that. It’s considered one of the most iconic live performances of hers and the music industry in general; when you watch it you’ll see why 😉 Anyway, sorry for the looong comment… I appreciate you guys and love your humour and the respect you have for every song, whether it’s your cup of tea or not… excited about the Tour reaction 🤩 Finally, thank you Liam you’re the best 🎉
Great comment, nice summation of the role Rep has in the TS-universe, good to-the-point description of the K&K B.S. and how that all led to the #TS is over party. Thanks, Nathan and Ryan. Good stuff. Really enjoy your reactions, humor, bantering. Thanks Liam!
I'm loving this reaction. I'm a fairly new Swiftie... Got into her listening to my daughter playing it in the car. Im over 60 and adore Taylor now. Keep them coming! Love from the UK!
@@WelpHereWeAreOnUA-cam reputation is actually the only album by her I think is basic and bad however New years day is and Will forever be fighting for the number 1 spot of her best.
There was a really great article that came out around this time called something like “everyone is a feminist until it comes to Taylor swift” that really did a great job of showing how people hate on Taylor for doing the same thing that every other artist does (write about breakups etc) but she is criticized while others are praised. She also talks about this concept in her song “the man” on lover! People like to hate on popular things. LET PEOPLE ENJOY THINGS!!
Also, interesting data: there were no interviews, promotion, nothing... relating this album release. Just a few images in her instagram (at that point totally empty, she erased all previous content) and the lema "there will be no explanation, only reputation" from her team. Then she announced the worldwide Reputation Stadium Tour (2018, all in stadiums). It was a hit/record breaking for a female artist.
I didn’t like I Did Something Bad until I saw her performance at the AMA awards doing this song. That performance is now iconic, and I got a whole new appreciation for it.
Taylor Swift's astrology birth chart is incredibly auspicious. The only challenge is that her intense energy will attract criticism from others due to jealousy.
This was the album that sealed the deal for me. The country stuff at the the beginning was cute, Speak Now was proof she could really write her own songs all by herself. Fearless was fun! Red, was a great transition album and she was growing on me more and more. 1989 was AWESOME (and being a older Senior Swiftie, I was hooked!) But then this. REPUTATION was EVERYTHING I WANTED! Folklore and Evermore were a nice mellow change during the pandemic. Midnights has been playing nonstop since Oct 21st... I just love the way she can slide in and out of every genre at any given time.
It's very interesting seeing people reacting to reputation now and feeling some generic elements, because back then it was so unique, so different from the others albums from that year
anyway, the impact this album has in pop culture is crazy, it was a huge moment, the media was against her, she didn't promoted it like the other albums, her come back with look what you made me do, the first social media blackout, the snake esthetic... you just had to be there 😂
Thank you, Liam! This is my favorite Taylor album. I used to listen to it non-stop for months, especially while driving and singing along at the top of my lungs.
"Gateway Car" is in my top 10, ❤ that song. Enjoyed your reaction to it. And yes poor Tom Hiddleston is the Gateway Car from her relationship with Calvin Harris.
Tbh, if you’re listening to rep for the first time years after it came out, it would take a while for you to understand why this is an amazing album. But if you were there during the time of its release and saw all the drama and fiasco (the feud with kim and kanye) a year before, you’d really feel so overwhelmed and hooked. You just had to be there! It was insane back when Look What You Made Me Do MV dropped. Everyone and their mothers tuned in😂
Would much rather hear you two than other people that do reactions...you have the english teacher...the vocal coach...the therapist...jeez...you guys ROCK
Love the reaction! I've never seen someone walk directly into the point yet miss it entirely. The song Gorgeous is written from the female perspective but with the male gaze. It's supposed to sound like she's objectifying him. She flipped the script for this song.
Reputation remains my favorite Taylor album! Loved her concert too (it's the only one I've managed to get tickets to but I hope to see her live again someday)
The genius of the lyric in Delicate: You're a mansion with a view. She's basically just saying "you're beautiful on the inside and the outside" I would recommend watching the reputation album breakdown the girls on the channel Chats and Reacts
38:35 Folklore and Evermore were actually both albums without any singles in the traditional sense. Folklore especially was dropped as a surprise and nobody had any clue what it would sound like beforehand, and the MV only came out after the album
I actually started listening to Taylor when the first single from Rep came out: “Look What You Made Me Do”. I knew her hits but never listened to her, and after all the drama and the hate, I had to hear how she responded with that song. this album sold me on her as an artist, and I’ve been a Swiftie ever since. Still the best concert I’ve ever been to ✌🏼
Love this, thank you! And I’m so happy to see some So It Goes… appreciation, it’s often ranked very low in peoples’ album rankings and I can never figure out why!
Thank you Liam 😊 And thank you guys. It's fun to see you go down the TSwift rabbit hole. I also love how you picked up on her "Midnights" reference on this album.
I can’t wait till you guys see this in the concert version. It’s so good!! Reputation was one of my all time favs! I wasn’t huge on it at first, but over time, it grew on me and once I saw the concert in person, I was sold!
Got into Taylor because of a concert I actually went to... And I have to say, that her Reputation Album is rather mad underrated. Her change of style, the beats, the lyrics, the energy. A side I didn't think she had... This deserved a lot more credit. Maybe even more than other albums of her.
actually, folklore was a surprise album, and it hade one single, cardigan, it was released one day before the whole album. so it’s kind of like that «album without singles», and the sales still were insane
The songs on Reputation about Joe Alwyn are … Ready For It? End Game Feat. Ed Sheeran & Future Don’t Blame Me Delicate So It Goes… Gorgeous King Of My Heart Dress Call It What You Want New Year’s Day Her and Joe Alwyn have been dating since 2016 and they wrote Exile Feat. Bon Iver, Betty off Folklore and he produced some songs off Folklore too Champagne Problems, Coney Island Feat. The National, Evermore Feat. Bon Iver He chose the pseudonym William Bowery as a tribute to his grandfather
The last 3 albums taylor released (folklore, evermore, and midnights) there was no pre-release single. They were released just as albums all songs at the same time
Unlike her other albums she truly evolves from starting angry, hurt, spiteful to as she slowly follows in love her focus changes and evolves to what is really important and letting go of the bad stuff as it isn’t as important and this new love is. NYD is a good segue to Lover which is her in an almost giddy stage of her love for Joe.
Thank you Liam! I think some of the songs you didn't care for you might appreciate them more either after watching the tour or the music videos. "Look What You Made Me Do" really needs the MV to fully appreciate it, tons of symbolism there. "Ready for It" and "I Did Something Bad" are so amazing performed live, much better than the studio version. Fun facts: Yes, Getaway Car is about Tom Hiddleston, she used him to get away from her longest relationship up to that point, Calvin Harris; "High Infidelity" on MIdnights is about Calvin. She met Joe around the same time period, when he had a buzz cut and her hair was bleached, but apparently she saved him for later, after she was done with Tom (her year + relationship with Calvin appeared to turn her off from the concept of serious relationships for the moment). "Glitch" on Midnights details how Joe was supposed to be her next fling, but she fell for him and now they're still together. I loved your reaction to "Dress", the word is that during her secret sessions, when she played Reputation for a hand-selected intimate group of fans hosted at her homes, her mom had to leave the room and her dad covered his ears when she played "Dress" lol. Gorgeous is also such a fun song, there is footage of Joe and his mom in the audience on opening night of the Rep tour, and during this song, he keeps anxiously looking around trying not to blush, it's so cute! It's so nice to see her have an album where the only breakup songs are about breaking up with the media, haters, Kanye, and her bad reputation in general. Now you're well prepared for Lover, which is mainly another ode to Joe.
I found y'all's channel just over a week ago and absolutely love the back and forth banter between you two. Also it's super cute when Nate blushes, then covers his face when he is laughing really hard 😊
Track 5 she has said is her most personal & vulnerable tracks: - Folklore it was My Tears Ricochet which was about Scott Borchetta (her old label) unwillingness to sell her her masters back to her but instead sell it to her biggest nemesis out of spite for her not resigning with her (in which her said she could have 1 master for every new album he gave her (which she wouldn’t own). - All Too Well is track 5 on RED (enough said on that one already) - I could go one but there is always a strong persona story behind her Track 5s. I think as you get to know more TS lore it will resonate more with you.
Had some downtime today...came back here to listen to this again, and am so thankful to be able to hear you guys react to different groups or artists...you really are the best!!!! Merry Christmas to you and your families!
Haven’t made it through the whole video yet but often times Taylor’s songs are growers - if you don’t listen to it a few more times after the initial listen then you’ll maintain the same opinion on it. However, I’ve found the more I listen to the songs - even the ones I didn’t like at first - they grow on me and end up being one of my faves on the album. If you’re really interested in Taylor and not just doing this for views or fans or what not - give her songs more then one listen before immediately deciding if it’s a “skip” or not.
Folklore and Evermore had no additional singles except the one song she did a video (Cardigan, Willow) for each. Folklore crashed sales, etc. and won AOTY.
Track 5’s are always her most vulnerable or emotional if you will. Not necessarily her “best” songs. Great reaction per usual guys. I’m in my 40’s & have the most eclectic taste in music. I think that’s just our generation. Ignore the lames 😘
You guys always make me laugh, everything is better with humor. Dress is my favorite song on the album and now I'll think loop each time I hear it. I really liked Nathan's point about Gorgeous. Thank you Liam you are the best.
@@WelpHereWeAreOnUA-cam I always thought that the point they make about Gorgeus is very deliberate from Taylor (is about her actual boyfriend, the start of it all, but wrote in a more "delicate" way turning around the old fashioned "I couldn´t resist, look at her, femme fatale, she bewitched me..., it was all her fault for being too sexy/pretty"... but not so bad that isn´t a good song/lover dedicated either at the same time -also not a word usually dedicated to men: gorgeous-. She likes playing with this kind of things, to be fair).
Thank you Liam, you're the best. I had such a great time watching this. Taylor snapped. Hence, the snaps. 😁 There are so many things I want to say about this phenomenal album, the Reputation Stadium Tour and its impact, but it'd turn into a really long essay if I did. So, I'll stop my rambling here. Anyway, I'm eagerly looking forward to more TSwift contents. I really love the dynamic between you two. Cheers!
In my opinion I don’t feel that there was any other song that sounded like "Delicate" at that time and that’s what drew me to it from what I remember the first time I heard it back in 2017. Here’s a small clip of the making of "Delicate" you might be interested in watching. ua-cam.com/video/eQVhAN7-IAw/v-deo.html In my opinion this is a mix of fountain pen/glitter gel pen album. Here’s how she explained it last year during her acceptance speech for the Songwriter-Artist of the Decade. And I’ve never talked about this publicly before, because, well, it’s dorky. But I also have, in my mind, secretly, established genre categories for lyrics I write. Three of them, to be exact. They are affectionately titled Quill Lyrics, Fountain Pen Lyrics, and Glitter Gel Pen Lyrics. I know this sounds confusing but I’ll try to explain. I came up with these categories based on what writing tool I imagine having in my hand when I scribbled it down, figuratively. I don’t actually have a quill. Anymore. I broke it once when I was mad. I categorize certain songs of mine in the ‘Quill’ style if the words and phrasings are antiquated, if I was inspired to write it after reading Charlotte Brontë or after watching a movie where everyone is wearing poet shirts and corsets. If my lyrics sound like a letter written by Emily Dickinson’s great-grandmother while sewing a lace curtain, that’s me writing in the Quill genre. I will give you an example from one of my songs I’d categorize as Quill. “How’s one to know I’d meet you where the spirit meets the bones In a faith forgotten land In from the snow, your touch brought forth an incandescent glow Tarnished but so grand” Moving on to Lyricism category #2: Fountain Pen style. I’d say most of my lyrics fall into this category. Fountain pen style means a modern storyline or references, with a poetic twist. Taking a common phrase and flipping its meaning. Trying to paint a vivid picture of a situation, down to the chipped paint on the door frame and the incense dust on the vinyl shelf. Placing yourself and whoever is listening right there in the room where it all happened. The love, the loss, everything. The songs I categorize in this style sound like confessions scribbled and sealed in an envelope, but too brutally honest to ever send. For Example: “Cause there we are again in the middle of the night We’re dancing round the kitchen in the refrigerator light Down the stairs, I was there I remember it all too well And there we are again when nobody had to know You kept me like a secret but I kept you like an oath Sacred prayer, and we’d swear to remember it all too well “ The third category is called Glitter Gel Pen and it lives up to its name in every way. Frivolous, carefree, bouncy, syncopated perfectly to the beat. Glitter Gel Pen lyrics don’t care if you don’t take them seriously because they don’t take themselves seriously. Glitter Gel Pen lyrics are the drunk girl at the party who tells you that you look like an Angel in the bathroom. It’s what we need every once in a while in these fraught times in which we live.
I don’t think calling someone gorgeous is objectifying them. But I get how you could interpret it that way. I think she just means he’s so gorgeous so as to get her tongue tied.
Actually I think you'd like to know that folklore, evermore and midnights came out without any songs being released before the album realese. The cardigan and willow music videos came out at the same time the albums did. The Anti-Hero MV was released hours after the album premiered.
I absolutely loved this album & I keep hoping she will continue with a more pop/electronic sound & she occasionally does. I really think shes so smart, creatively, with her songs & her voice keeps getting better imo
I found Taylor through Chats and Reacts, Bonnie and Emily's UA-cam channel, during Covid. I would come home from the hospital beat tired etc and tune into these two young women from Australia. These ladies know some Taylor. Its been over two years now and I still find myself watching Taylor content. Yall do some good work and I appreciate the male perspective. I am 62 and I worship at the musical alter of McCartney, Stevie Wonder, Joni Mitchell, Paul Simon, Carol King etc. IMO Taylor is approaching, if not there, a place on that hallowed ground of truly great song writers that will be remembered long after we are all gone. I still cant get my 23 yo son to understand this though. What I learned through Bonnie and Emily is its the non hits that are some of the greatest pop song ever written.
In this album except for few of her revenge songs, every other song is about her simping over Joe, her boyfriend. They have been dating for almost 7 years now. After the whole Kanye thing she went missing for almost a year and she spent time with him. He trusted and believed her throughout the entire thing specially never left her side. She even wanted to break up with him because of her trauma related to past relationships and media. But he was like 'no' we are going through this together. Then she again proceeded to write the whole Lover album for him. Their love is very inspiring. Rumours says they gonna get married in this year. Can't wait.
Can I just say that you guys are amazing! I love Taylor Swift since her debut. And this album was the best comeback ever after all the hateful things that happened to her. Anyway! Great video and sending love from Vancouver BC❤️
There are 3 “genres” of Taylor fans. 1. The country classics. These fans appreciate debut, fearless and speak now the most and love her country leaning songs. 2. The pop Taylor fans. These are the 1989/rep/Lover/midnights swifties. They tend to enjoy her pop sound more. And then 3, the alt Taylor fans; fans who love red, folklore and evermore. I fall into this category. When it comes to reputation you have to understand that in 2012, red came out. And I knew she was going in a pop direction, so 1989 as a pop bible classic coming out in 2014 didn’t surprise me. But, I was holding onto hope that she would put out basically folklore- an album that is more instrumental and orchestral based, which is where red is leaning towards in some songs, imho. So then she’s gone for years right, and all that time I was hoping for folklore so, to get reputation was a huge disappointment, AT THE TIME. I loved that she rebranded with the snake aesthetic as a slytherin queen myself but it wasn’t the album I knew she was capable of and hoping for. Now, I absolutely adore reputation. It’s so important for Taylor’s story and her journey towards self acceptance and love and I’m so happy that reputation swifties exist who treat that album with the respect it deserves. TLDR; yeah a lot of us changed our minds about rep.
She hasn't done a traditional rollout for the last 4 out of her 5 album releases, Folklore and Evermore were both surprise drops with a music video release at the same time as the album. Red (Taylor's Version) and Midnights both had the single's music video released on the same day as the Album release even though they were announced in advance. Just goes to show she doesn't need to release singles to build up hype for the album, people are gonna eat it up regardless.
I get what he was saying about gorgeous, but I think he’s not realizing that this is a different dude…. She’s not talking about his personality or what he does bc she doesn’t know him😂 she just knows he’s so gorgeous “I can’t say anything to your face” lol it’s NOT her boyfriend, cause “he’s in the club doing, idk what”
don't get us swifties started on what songs were singles.... also technically gorgeous and call it what you want were just promotional singles. the other four actually had music videos and were standard singles.
Just finished the album reaction and I’m glad you guys mostly enjoyed it. This is still her favourite album of mine and I cannot WAIT for the re-release. This was the start of her experimental sound and it’s only been uphill from there
That’s it. It’s official. Guys will ALWAYS think any words having to do with fart and flatulence are hilarious! So silly!!! First time viewer and y’all are great!
Folklore is almost like that. She announced it just one day back, album released before and then a video came but that's all. No songs were released before that, and it sold like insanely well and won grammy.

She went away for about a year and came back with this album. In 2020, someone released the full unedited recording and it proved that Taylor was telling the truth the whole time.
That made me hate Kim a little for editing that but now that their divorced I have some respect for her
@@kleesbomb1034Personally, she still doesn't have mine. If she made a public apology to Taylor, maybe she'd gain some back.
@@fiona9443 same here
@@kleesbomb1034 I agree. I’d have more respect for her if she apologized, especially knowing that her daughter, North is a fan.

Thank you so much
Despite the critics knocking down this album, Taylor had the last laugh as it debuted over 1m on its first week.
it is a masterpiece.
The fact that after ttpd was released critics once again tried to knock it down it debuted with over 2m in the first week

Omg ive been finding this for minutes, you saved my life tysmmm😭🤍🤍
@@ma0491 I’ve rewatched The Rep tour so many times. It’s incredible!
I will be shocked if you waded through all of this comment to the end! ;-)
Waded all the way through
EXACLTY
What Taylor said about the record at the time was “there will be no explanation, there will just be reputation” or sth along these lines, meaning that she was gonna leave the music speak for her and avoid every conversation-interview-gossip about that drama from now on
Edit: about the Kanye thing, the drama did not stop at the awards incident… supposedly he apologised to her and they made up after that… on TIWWCHNT she said “it was nice being friends again, here I was giving you a second chance” BUT a few years later he wanted to reference her name on his song Famous.
It’s considered one of the most iconic live performances of hers and the music industry in general; when you watch it you’ll see why 😉
Anyway, sorry for the looong comment… I appreciate you guys and love your humour and the respect you have for every song, whether it’s your cup of tea or not… excited about the Tour reaction 🤩
Finally, thank you Liam you’re the best 🎉
Great comment, nice summation of the role Rep has in the TS-universe, good to-the-point description of the K&K B.S. and how that all led to the #TS is over party.
Thanks, Nathan and Ryan. Good stuff. Really enjoy your reactions, humor, bantering.
Thanks Liam!
I'm loving this reaction. I'm a fairly new Swiftie... Got into her listening to my daughter playing it in the car.
Im over 60 and adore Taylor now.
Keep them coming!
Love from the UK!

As a uk Swifty who will be 50 this summer, I feel you.
Rep tour is a must, these songs were written for Live performances
Getaway car is seen by many fans (myself included) as one of her absolute best songs. I was so excited for y’all to hear it!
I love this song. I would love to a music video.
I'm black and I LOVE her, I don't think it's appropriation at all.... just really good music. Music is universal to me
💯
Me too. I just appreciate good music.
there are so few reaction youtubers who include the whole songs and i LOVE you guys for that! keep doing what you do it is awesome!!!
❤️❤️❤️
I didn’t like I Did Something Bad until I saw her performance at the AMA awards doing this song. That performance is now iconic, and I got a whole new appreciation for it.
The live version is SO much better. That bridge slowing down and drawing out gives me chills every single time!
Taylor Swift's astrology birth chart is incredibly auspicious. The only challenge is that her intense energy will attract criticism from others due to jealousy.
Critics: reputation is going to be a flop tour
Reputation tour: highest grossing tour in US history
Critics: 🤡
This was the album that sealed the deal for me. The country stuff at the the beginning was cute, Speak Now was proof she could really write her own songs all by herself. Fearless was fun! Red, was a great transition album and she was growing on me more and more. 1989 was AWESOME (and being a older Senior Swiftie, I was hooked!) But then this. REPUTATION was EVERYTHING I WANTED! Folklore and Evermore were a nice mellow change during the pandemic. Midnights has been playing nonstop since Oct 21st... I just love the way she can slide in and out of every genre at any given time.
100%
Where did Lover go? haha
Same journey for me. Reputation sealed the deal big time. Midnights is 🔥and on repeat. I’m a 56yr old fan. 😊❤️🙏🏻

I am really excited for you to react to the Reputation Tour!!!
We’re slow
@@WelpHereWeAreOnUA-cam 😂
Reputation remains my favorite Taylor album! Loved her concert too (it's the only one I've managed to get tickets to but I hope to see her live again someday)
The genius of the lyric in Delicate: You're a mansion with a view.
She's basically just saying "you're beautiful on the inside and the outside"
I would recommend watching the reputation album breakdown the girls on the channel Chats and Reacts
“You did a- number on me- but honestly baby who’s counting” then we hear whispered “1,2,3”. Because we’re always counting 😉
❤️🤘❤️
Thank you Liam 😊
And thank you guys.

I literally bursted into laughter during the time you tried to mimic the ah-ah~ part.😭
😂😂
The songs on Reputation about Joe Alwyn are
… Ready For It?
End Game Feat. Ed Sheeran & Future
Don’t Blame Me
Delicate
So It Goes…
Gorgeous
King Of My Heart
Dress
Call It What You Want
New Year’s Day
Her and Joe Alwyn have been dating since 2016 and they wrote Exile Feat. Bon Iver, Betty off Folklore and he produced some songs off Folklore too
Champagne Problems, Coney Island Feat. The National, Evermore Feat. Bon Iver
He chose the pseudonym William Bowery as a tribute to his grandfather
The last 3 albums taylor released (folklore, evermore, and midnights) there was no pre-release single. They were released just as albums all songs at the same time
Really enjoy the reaction and thankful you guys listen and discuss the song. The banter always makes me laugh
❤️❤️❤️
King of my Heart live at Reputation Tour was insane. Mind blown 😮 I was in the third row in Arizona opening night. Got some sick iPhone videos.
We loved the Netflix concert
I found y'all's channel just over a week ago and absolutely love the back and forth banter between you two. Also it's super cute when Nate blushes, then covers his face when he is laughing really hard 😊
❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
That was such a great reaction. Thank you guys so much! I always enjoy your banter.
Glad you enjoyed it
Track 5 she has said is her most personal & vulnerable tracks:
- Folklore it was My Tears Ricochet which was about Scott Borchetta (her old label) unwillingness to sell her her masters back to her but instead sell it to her biggest nemesis out of spite for her not resigning with her (in which her said she could have 1 master for every new album he gave her (which she wouldn’t own).
- All Too Well is track 5 on RED (enough said on that one already)
- I could go one but there is always a strong persona story behind her Track 5s. I think as you get to know more TS lore it will resonate more with you.
Because of you, I remember why I love so much this record. All songs are enjoyable and I have a blast watching you.

YOUR REACTION TO DRESS IS HILARIOUS 😂 THE BEST SONG ON REPUTATION AND MY PERSONAL FAVE
❤️❤️❤️❤️
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
There are so many things I want to say about this phenomenal album, the Reputation Stadium Tour and its impact, but it'd turn into a really long essay if I did. So, I'll stop my rambling here.
Anyway, I'm eagerly looking forward to more TSwift contents. I really love the dynamic between you two. Cheers!
I think the score came from controversy surrounding the album. This album has been my favorite ever since it came out 😊
In my opinion I don’t feel that there was any other song that sounded like "Delicate" at that time and that’s what drew me to it from what I remember the first time I heard it back in 2017. Here’s a small clip of the making of "Delicate" you might be interested in watching.
ua-cam.com/video/eQVhAN7-IAw/v-deo.html
In my opinion this is a mix of fountain pen/glitter gel pen album.
I think she just means he’s so gorgeous so as to get her tongue tied.
omg, her best album, need to see u guys react to the rep tour

Actually I think you'd like to know that folklore, evermore and midnights came out without any songs being released before the album realese. The cardigan and willow music videos came out at the same time the albums did. The Anti-Hero MV was released hours after the album premiered.
Ed Sheeran actually raps quite a bit on his albums!
I absolutely loved this album & I keep hoping she will continue with a more pop/electronic sound & she occasionally does. I really think shes so smart, creatively, with her songs & her voice keeps getting better imo

this is an album i really enjoy. i am off today to.
Can't wait.

Don´t Blame Me & I did something bad (that one improves a lot) are like 1 million times better live (tour version). Even King of my heart does so.
You should watch her video of “ I did something bad “ live at the AMAs 🔥🔥
This album will be wrapped up in a nice bow after you watch rep tour and miss Americana documentary for more context
yaaass luv this album so much!!daddies that reacting to taylor swift are so cute haha really luv ur reaction u guyz ❤️❤️
Yes! Black fan here. I'm a happy swifty
❤️❤️❤️❤️
taylor did release an album with no official singles and you've already heard it, it's called midnights, first week sales over 1.5 million :D
Anti-Hero was released as a single.
don't blame me is my favorite song from my favorite album 💜
God, I’m so happy I’m not working today ❤️
Finally found someone like me that love So It Goes... 😭😭😭
Thank you Liam, you are the best!!
You guys need to watch reputation world tour It's a whole journey of oh my goodness what did I just witness !
We did. It’s on our patreon
Reputation absolutely did influence the sound around the time it was released, but I’m not sure about that specific beat
😝😝❤️❤️
i just love seeing so it goes getting the love it deserves
Folklore is almost like that.
She announced it just one day back, album released before and then a video came but that's all. No songs were released before that, and it sold like insanely well and won grammy.
Fun Fact: The baby voice at the beginning of Gorgeous is Ryan Reynold’s and Blake Lively’s eldest daughter James.
