My dumb ass just bought a mustang with manual transmission.. Gotta go pick it up and havent even ever drove one. 😂 oh well... Im sure i will look like a moron but ive done that a million times.. And its all just back roads on the way home.

Nice video bro. I have a question. Would it be more difficult to drive a manual shift car that has more powerful hp car compared to a basic speed car.

Can you go from fifth gear straight into neutral and hit the brake to slow down?
Yes you can, but I recommend downshifting if you can since it’s better for the transmission. I only coast to 0 in neutral at slower speeds.

Yup, that’s too bad. Literally every car in Europe is manual, I drove a stick shift BMW 116d in Finland. That was fun!
There’s traffic jams in Europe too. It’s just the car market in the states, autos got pushed SO hard and people didn’t care that they costed more. Traffic in an auto sucks too, in a manual it’s about the same. Anybody who says otherwise is just lazy

So out of a little confusion, what happens if someone stops in front of me suddenly and I need to stop immediately?
You can always use the brake pedal and the car will slow down. Do this if you need to stop suddenly. If you need to stop suddenly, the safest and best way (for the car) is if you press the clutch and brake at the same time (this will disengage the flywheel from the transmission so the car won’t stall when you slow down in gear). But if you don’t gave time to do that, you can always use the brake pedal alone. Hope this helps!

It really is because most of them were sold with a manual. If you’re looking for one, I’d wholeheartedly recommend getting one with a stick shift because an auto transmission completely defeats the purpose of that car in my opinion. It’s really easy to drive and a great car to learn stick shift on. You’ll have so much more fun with it if you get it with the manual gearbox. It’s also a great platform to modify if you want to try that with your car.
