My high mileage e46 330d sounded unreal, didn't even sound like a diesel lol. With a gentle foot, you couldn't hear the engine at all and when you put your foot down it sounded god like.
-maybe with a glasspack A(heated then dropped in water to shatter) or something, like most the others here i too have an e46 (auto) 3.0L and am wanting some more aggressive sound. cold start RIGHT AWAY mine sounds like it would be raspy. but quickly goes completely quite. my flap doesnt work which i have tried in several positions now and almost closed is the best sound ive found for it. might delete the cat and res but leave the muffler there since most the packing inside blew out when i opened the flap LOL....cant complain for a free car tho. almost mint minus some vac leaks ive fixed.
@@heliezerhernandez8987 good if you going to be ready to do the work they like to break. Try and find a low Km’s one, mine I didn’t know much at the time and bought it high for too much

bigger pipes and definitely 2 seperate ehxousts will look better and sound better but its still great sounding

Sounds a lot better if you leave at least one of the resonators on and have a vibrant or supersprint muffler with a manual tranny
