Do you guys have any experience with vans? like a Chrysler town and country ? I installed a pioneer 3800nex and the mic it came with is not that good and I have it on the headliner edge and I see the Ram has it in the headliner above the speaker/driver wondering if I should try the mic in that location on the Town and Country? I did order one of your round universal headliner mics. I could also mount it in the center headliner console.
Unfortunately I have not put our mic in a town and country. We might have a mic if it has a factory location. The car cabin sometimes has something to do with it. I have had problems with specific car/radio's like Audi R8 and Kenwood. But the same setup sounds fine in A3 and A4.

Is that mic better than the universal round one you sell? or is it the same mic?
They are the same but the housing does change the mic a bit.
