@@fsfreturns5242 Oooo, sounds cool! I guess some of these work well for Doom, especially Metal Fort I! What WAD did you play them with? I'm currently trying to survive Sigil 2 lol
@@theblurcafex1655 I've played and finished the "In Sandy's Cities" wad in Ultra Violence, and made a pause during a UV fast playthgrough. Also I've put the Silence II MIDI for the first level of this wad and Metal Fort II for the 13th level. The day you play that Wad, you'll see why :P
Considering how close to the Soundlink masters these are, in terms of Note Accuracy, I feel that the only thing that needs to be done with this era of F~Zero's soundtrack now is either to find all of the original instrumental presets and samples to better solidify a Remastered Soundtrack or (better yet) we manage to attain Uncompressed versions of the soundtrack to help better optimize the MIDIs in the incredibly small areas where any relevant details may potentially be missing; at this point, with everything that has been delivered thus far, there is always absolute maximum reason to commend what you have helped deliver to us throughout this journey, this is easily on par with the level of quality and dedication that was invested for your remake of Sonic Chronicles' MIDI Soundtrack and and it truly means a lot to the entire community that we have writers and composers such as yourself who can truly bring new life to these heavily underrated gems and many others to come. (:
Thank you very much for your kind words! BS F-Zero & Sonic Chronicles' OSTs have been the biggest projects in this channel, and while I could definitely do better now (with Chronicles especially), I am happy to have reignited some interest (even if in small part) for these soundtracks. It would be amazing if the original versions were to be discovered, or at the very least, faithfully recreated, then I'd have a more accurate basis for potential new remixes lol. As I stated, these MIDIs aren't 100% accurate, and even now I find myself either slightly changing some notes or altering the tempo slightly (in the case of future SNES-style remakes), but they do have their charm, and I'm overall happy with the results. Once again, thanks for the comment, it means a lot!
I got some knowledge from someone who was also trying to restore BS F-Zero soundlink audio that may be helpful here. The BS F-Zero GP 1 tracks that were rearranged for the Soundlink used a Roland JV-1080. This person, gac200, actually managed to recompose some of the tracks and even had MIDIs designed to be imported into the synthesizer. Unfortunately my attempts at finding a JV-1080 soundfont that can approximate the sound on a General MIDI has not worked out. (EDIT: Some SC-55 soundfonts sound kinda similar, though.)
Say, would you be willing to check out the Satellaview+ community? I let them know about these MIDIs. I think they'd go well with playing BS F-Zero Deluxe with the radio on.
You can use my MIDIs however you like, tho I must state that they're kinda old by now. What's this Satellaview + community? Is it a restoration project of sorts? The only thing Satellaview-related I took interest in is BS F-Zero, so idk much about the other stuff.
@@theblurcafex1655 Satellaview+ aims to capture the more general feel of the service, where you can navigate an online BS-X, download content, and listen to the radio station. Still very much WIP but it's a fun experience. I've been doing quite a bit of work for it.

This is like hearing them all over again, and I LOVE that.
I'm happy to hear that!
I gotta say, I had the urge of modding a few of these MIDIs in a Doom wad, and in conjunction with the Arachno Soundfont, they sound amazing :D
