I want a civic 2000 Sri.
Just some info for you, the 2000 civic si has a b16a2 they have front and rear lips they have different rims,seats and grill I think someone just put a si badge on it !! Still a clean car don’t get me wrong just not a si from what I can see !
i am well aware that this is not your normal american (SI)/EM1, at the end of the video it say what the car is. the car is a si-g which is like the caniadin Si with an automatic transmission (EJ8). it just a weird model that the canadians came up with, it's also original badging never changed and trust me you're not the first to say this. was never tryna flex that it was a (real) si as that would be wrong ik its not. i do appreciate what your saying and maybe i'll make a video explaining the car for people that dont know. thank you for watching the video and i hope you enjoyed.
you do know that the si in canada is an ex in the states. The creator is correct it is an si. An em1 to canada is called an sir.

What SI in the year year 1999-2000 came with a D series? That’s not building a si, but respect the work
All the hate in the comments...This is what ruins the car scene. I have a 16 sti about to be fully built next spring, due to a spun bearing so I'm going full out build with it 😁 While it's been down I got a rusty ass impala, pos. Neighbor is selling me his 02 civic ex for 600 because of a blown head gasket. Little to no rust and for indiana that's wild! I'm fucking stoked! Been binge watching honda builds lol

I can see your relatively still getting the grasp of doin this car sh*t, I suggest running to a Walmart or similer and grabbing one of there 100$ or less electric pressure washers so you can deep clean before starting the build, makes the rest of the process a lil more enjoyable

Unless it's been repainted, that's not an SI. The 2000 SI was available only in red, black and blue. That being said, the end result is some very nice, clean work.
its a Canadian "Si" or our EX trim level in the States. That's why the odometer was in "Km" Kilometers as opposed to our Miles. I believer the offical Si is named the "SiR" for Candians. Nice job doing research tho. Read the owners comment in the top comments. Under "samuel marcu's" comment he states all this.

That’s definitely not a USDM or JDM Civic Si, is that a Canadian Si civic? USDM and JDM Si civics came with the b16 DOHC engines.

What exhaust was it? - It looks like Yonoka to me, but i don't remember them being so raspy, what all did you do with the exhaust system?

I sold it because I didn’t have the founds to keep it going as it kept giving me problems loved the car but wanted to build something else also wanted a manual
Good video, I had one like yours but manual I invested a lot of money in it by fixing it and making it cute and one day when I'm going to look for it to continue fixing it they had stolen it from me😞

It's still pretty much a build. It doesn't need to have 20,000$ worth of parts and labor to be a nice clean car.
