Dang, you did almost everything I wanted to get done on my 3 yr old project civic in one video. Hope this motivates my lazy butt to get some work done..
Appreciate the transparency on the pricing of the Honda 2000, that’s really awesome of you Seth! Sounds like both parties got a good deal considering the market right now. Looking forward to see what you do with this build and although I didn’t follow you way back when, I think it’s really great you still have the STI.
Thank you for posting. I owned a 2000 Silver Ex just like that but I bought the SI wing for it. Amazing car and in my opinion the best looking civic. Bring back memories of it.
Wow man! Just that little bit of work made that thing 10 times better! When the time comes if you decide to sell I will keep my eye out for it! Another great video man!
Wow man gotta say I’m excited to see this new project I’ve been looking for a first project car myself and would really like 90s Honda/Acura can’t wait to see how this car turns out Also yeah new sub here btw :)
Thanks for joining! This Civic may end up just being a quick flip. I haven’t decided yet. Prices on EJ8’s aren’t very high so I don’t want to invest too much in it.
@@crxseth makes sense But it would still be a satisfying video to watch I’m all for it. I starting my auto tech classes this summer so Maybe those vids will help me decide on the car.
Stumbled on this vid and what I love about what you did is... those are often neglected like the power windows etc yet they claim "fresh" 🤣 With yours? its just done nicely and correctly including the fogs... now it looks like a 99-00 civic with "all accessories" from the dealer back in the day :)
That window regulator looks almost exactly like the ones in 2000’s Ford Taurus.....except better, because you don’t have to drill out a bunch of rivets to remove it!
Nice little project, look forward to seeing what direction you go with it. Looks like the car didn't get a clear coat after the respray? Would love to see some STI videos!
I think it might have been single stage of some sort. The Subaru videos on this channel do not seem to do well. Most people are here for the Hondas. Haha
I’d love it if you did a “crx Seth” restoration on one of these. I have one I’m putting together from scraps. I’d love to see one of these in silver or white.
I just picked up a 1999 Civic EX myself as a little project car. I'm slowly obtaining parts here and there to replace damaged or missing pieces. I really like the look of those fog lights and they look pretty close to OEM. Can you please provide the link to the ones you bought? Thanks!
Awesome video. I am currently working on my 2000 Honda Civic Ex, and I need a power window regulator. Please post the link where you bought yours. Thanks!
Holy smokes I have that same car same same fog lights except it’s an automatic. Quick question with the winjet fog lights is there a way to get a replacement fog light switch? mine is completely blown out.
Really looking forward to how this comes along! Have you ever tried a heat gun to faded black plastic? I’ve had really good results on my Element’s black plastic and it’s stayed great for over the past 2 years so far.
hi. old comment, but for anyone who wants to try this, it doesnt work for all kinds of cars. some cars have plastic that reacts cleanly to heat. other cars will have no effect, or it might even melt if you're unlucky. just do a spot test, or buy car trim restoration spray/liquid you wipe on
I so miss My S2000 I sold it because a dealer gave me 10K for it when I bought mine for 7.5K and helped my wife get her Lexus… I would deff be interested in buy it off you if you are thinking of selling it.
What is the name of the stuff you’re going to use to clean up the grill? My grill could use some help for sure! If you want to see my ek sedan check out me channel!

My favorite coupe is the 99-00!! Keep it clean. Can’t wait to see where this goes!

I’ve thought about getting that spoiler. I like the look.
Yea can’t go wrong with that wing….if you can find one for a reasonable price. Lol
It's amazing what a little elbow grease will do. Car looks so much better already!
These cars are so nice .. Go full send on this car ... Time to do a swap Seth ... Show these people what you can handle .
I'm super excited for this build! you should do a OEM Plus build. SI lip and side skirts!
Always loved these body style, motivate me to get some work done on mine lol
Wow man! Just that little bit of work made that thing 10 times better! When the time comes if you decide to sell I will keep my eye out for it! Another great video man!
It will be soon!
I just got a 2000 one as well and i am planning on fixing up and looking at your videos inspired me.
Already looking a lot better.

Awesome 👌
Car look a whole lot better with the small touches. Looking forward to the buffing🙌
Thats impressive, you are really good at what you do!
Congrats on the new project Bro! Excited to see how far you take this one!
I love and respect the Honda Honda Civic!

A little bit of time patience and know how one can accomplish anything. Too bad I don't possess any of those qualities.
Great video
Haha!
Man, I love civics... Waiting for more
Full restoration! I want to see the beat suspension.
This would be a great project for you to try and do a wrap job. Just fix the quarter panel, not many heavy curves on the car. Awesome job!
Good thought. I’m not sure how proficient I would be at wrapping.
I currently have a 95 coupe project. My next will likely be this generation hatchback or 2012-2013 Civic coupe SI.
That window regulator looks almost exactly like the ones in 2000’s Ford Taurus.....except better, because you don’t have to drill out a bunch of rivets to remove it!
Wow a coupe civic thats rare!
Seth you really turned that EK civic around with a few repairs. Nice job! I would have junked the car as soon as I saw water in the interior..lol.
I think that’s why the guy mainly got rid of it.
I've always liked the EK Civics. Hell I almost wish I could buy this one.
I cant wait to see this car finish (and the others too) l know it's gon a be amazing.👍👍👍.
You very very very good at what he does!!!
Respect!👍💪
You are an artist bro!
OK now I'll be waiting for the next video on this coup
I like this new proyect 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you for the motivation🙏you earned my sub
EK’s all day babyyyy, Woooooooo!
I'm interested in buying this car when you are finished!
I’m not doing much to it, so message me on Instagram soon if you’re serious.
Well done, Seth! Flip the Civic and do a Del Sol!!!

I’d love it if you did a “crx Seth” restoration on one of these. I have one I’m putting together from scraps. I’d love to see one of these in silver or white.
If I can find a 96-00 hatchback, I’d love to do a rebuild on one and make it with Championship White ITR styling.
@@crxseth I definitely can’t wait for that

I don’t remember where I got it! It’s been a couple years. Probably eBay.
@@crxseth Thanks for the reply. I’ll have my car completed by mid December.
Holy smokes I have that same car same same fog lights except it’s an automatic. Quick question with the winjet fog lights is there a way to get a replacement fog light switch? mine is completely blown out.
I’m not sure. It might be hard to find just the switch. The entire kit is about $50 so you may end up having to get the whole thing.
Really looking forward to how this comes along! Have you ever tried a heat gun to faded black plastic? I’ve had really good results on my Element’s black plastic and it’s stayed great for over the past 2 years so far.
I haven’t done heat gun, but I’ll probably use Carworx Refinish Restorer or some CeraKote Trim Restorer instead.

Glad you enjoyed it
Nice find.
I’m tryna get the same exact one a EX Coupe 99-00 NY area real hard to find
Beautiful.
Smart move to sell the S2000.. Have fun with the refresh of the Civic.
It's a great car, but I never really planned on keeping it. Maybe one day I'll find my "keeper Honda"...
Keeper: NSX 💥
@@familyengineering5591 Dream car that I’d never want to pay to maintain!
CRXSeth you and i are about the same age. Do you remember when they were $18-20k all day long? The good ol days
Good job 👍🏿
Dude what part of ky are you from?
I'm in pikeville
Put si rims on it. I see them on shelf . Ty for show me how wire up the fog lights
What fog light kit did you use? Looks great
It was just one of the $60 ones on eBay.
@@crxseth Awesome! Thanks
This thing is mint compared to your usual projects ! Is the CRX project almost done ? Lol
This thing definitely needs some love. The CRX still has a long way to go. Haha.
The best generation
Bro will 235/45/17 fit without rubbing or without spacers
Probably not a recommended size, but it depends on the ride height and wheel offset. I would recommend 16” wheels for this chassis.
awesome
Should of held on to the S2000 prices going to keep going up. Sad you sold it 😭
You’re probably right but I have too many cars right now and I still came out ahead on it so no bad feelings on my end.
Where did you get the fog light kit from ??
eBay.
Yissss more cars 👍👍🤩
