Your videos put me at ease while I'm struggling with moving, making sure I clean the apartment I'm leaving well so that the landlord doesn't charge me extra... I've been using your tips or just plain watching to wind down and relax. Love your content. Thank you Rachel 😊❤ Greetings from Poland!
Hey Rachel, I am so excited to see the cantaloupe flowers from your garden. In India, there's a rare recipe that we enjoy with freshly plucked pumpkin flowers. It is pumpkin flowers dipped in a rice batter mixed with very few spices and shallow fried in oil. These are perfect little crisps meant to be enjoyed on a rainy day. Please try this crisps with lentil rice. I am sure you'll like it. Keep up with the videos. It's raining in India as well and I love playing your videos after work when I fold my laundry😊
That reminds me of when I tried making a watermelon smoothie years ago and added water which ruined the flavour lol because obviously it's not needed. I'm planning to make my favourite strawberry margaritas this weekend because I've just moved to a new apartment and finally have my own bar so I've been having fun making cocktails :)
That’s one of the most perfect watermelons I’ve seen. I have no luck picking them out and I can’t cut them either the way you husband did it with ease I’m so jealous.
It is a STORMY early evening here in South Louisiana (Baton Rouge), too. This video is perfect! I am reading Debbie Macomber. Her books are calm, happy, and funny, and I know you would love them, too.
Thank you for sharing watermelon cutting skills… I approach it dangerously too so avoid cutting them… this summer I will do the same way… I loveeeee your voice and videos ❤❤ Love from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
Beautiful video, great content, love that Tajine dish ( hope, I wrote it correctly 😅), lovely to see you rest and taking care if yourself! Have a lovely weekend! 😊☀️cheers from Iris from southwest Germany 🌸🌹🥰
Have you read The Spellshop? It just came out a few weeks ago and I feel like you would absolutely love it. So many cozy cottage-core vibes! It’s such a great fantasy/escape with some tame romance and tons of beautiful character development!
Those overnight oats look so good ,do you have the recipe linked ?:). Also your soup recipe looks delicious and came out a beautiful presentation 😊going to try!). Your videos are the most relaxing on here and your instrumental background music just adds to the coziness and relaxation mode:) love this type of video and thanks so much❤have a blessed day!
I am so with you on the spicy books. 😬 I do not care for them at all. A rich story is the best. The breakfast oats look so delicious! And dinner too! I hope you’re not coming down with something. Your teas and healthy food from the garden will nip it in the bud! Thank you for sharing ❤
Great video! I am curious to know more about your refraining from drinking alcohol, however I also know that the reason why someone chooses not to drink can be very personal, so I understand if you don’t want to share about it. As someone who is similar in age to you and is considering quitting alcohol in order to improve my health, it could be an interesting/helpful video.
@@ErinRipka I was never a big drinker, but I did occasionally. I just found that it didn’t make me feel well at all. My body almost rejects it at this point, and so I’ve chosen to completely abstain. My body has this way of letting me know when it doesn’t like something lol and I’m trying to be a better listener. Haha
@@maryc1923 I’ve had a series 4 for years now! I try to take excellent care of it so it doesn’t break. I have a cover on it. The screens can crack kinda easily. I mostly just use it to track workouts and tell time, so I haven’t bought a new one. I would probably do a Fitbit in the future as they are less expensive.
I've enjoyed your videos for many years. I just wanted to say how much I look forward to these self-care videos.
