On the deep breathing thing you mentioned, I have a yucky cold/cough thing I am dealing with right now, so that is a challenge. But I am trying to do that more often. Well, in the spirit of transparency, after reading through the entire Bible again during Covid (and I’ve studied the Bible for many years) I was really struggling with some cognitive dissonance in regards to Science vs Biblical claims and some aspects of Gods character that I really struggle to reconcile. I’ve prayed and studied for years seeking truth, I’ve also watched hours of debates and know every argument on the spectrum. I’ve had deep faith in Jesus, but I’m still truly processing my experience and up bringing in a high demand church/religion etc. I have some serious issues with the American evangelical church that I believe needs a revolution. I’m still processing all of that, and I’m not quite ready to talk about it publicly yet. I'm still gathering my thoughts. For the last few years I was grieving a lot and processing life overall. I also get quite triggered by the predictable and unempathetic responses I often hear from Christians when someone is deconstructing or processing aspects of their faith journey or church upbringing. It’s really something I need to work through privately for now, however I welcome prayers always. I read scriptures with my children and I am also reading several C.S. Lewis books and devotionals in addition to other materials. I still pray etc. I’m just not sure where I stand on some things… I get asked this question sometimes, so thought I answer honestly. Thank you 🙏🏻 💕 💭

Main reason I asked is, I have a hard time finding studies that are not a "fill in the blank" repeat of a scripture just stated. So, thought I'd ask. One thing I would submit to you for consideration as you process through. God created science, as well. Man perverts a good deal of what God has created. I have wavy/curly hair, and now that it's finally growing longer again, I'm enjoying it! I walk outside daily, drink water (although it's hard for me, too), and green tea, and run with my boyfriend in the evenings. South Louisiana is finally moving into the 80s, and we are in the rainy/stormy time (keeping our eyes on the tropics as we live in the Gulf Coast). Hurricanes are inevitable from June 1st to November 30th. But I am prioritizing my quiet time and enjoying self-care more now!
