what I don't understand is why it's such an issue of ppl don't wanting to show stuff to the ticket inspectors... in my country each train in the country is manned by 2 or more inspectors checking tickets, if you don't have a proper ticket you get the chance to pay the ticket price plus fine on the train, if you don't want to you get escorted off the train at the next station and waited on by either railway police or the national police and you'll have to pay an even higher fine... if not, you'll get prosecuted... and get a criminal record... a few years ago things changed to the point that you can't enter or exit most stations without a legal ticket (the gates check the dates on the tickets automatically to see if they're legit or not)
I swear the C Stock suffered the most graffiti attacks out of all the LUL stock? Although nowadays that standard has slipped in "trains that have been graffitied are not put into passenger use" - the amount of half covered trains I see on the Bakerloo and Central lines is crazy in passenger use
Graffiti on Australian trains is mainly done by scratching into the windows instead of spray paint. You wouldn't be able to get onto any train without seeing graffiti in the windows
As a non-Londoner, I enjoy seeing the graffiti around London, including the stuff on the TfL network..., and living in London hasn't changed that. Edit: Feels like a complete waste of money cleaning it up.... It's just going to encourage someone to do it all over again when they see that it's been cleaned....
Yeah graffiti is like very important to loval culture, probably even more than conventional art. Also how is paint hurting anybody? "Cleaning it up" or more accurately destroying the art is such waste of time energy and money

Artists? No. Thieves that steal everyday from the hard working men and women who pay their fare, don't wreck the place and do life well. Those poor blokes breathing those toxic cleaning fumes every night. Actually, it's evil.
Bro people who think graffiti on Underground trains is 'beautiful' in my opinion is very strange. The trains without graffiti are some of the most beautiful things on the planet (in my opinion). Graffiti should have a hefty sentence like 5 yrs in prison cuz it makes everything so UGLY.
This episode in particular is funny because it shows a time before cards really took off and the ticket apps were only beginning to become a concept. I don't think the paper ticket system will be missed by the police all things considered.
@M K I had that almost happen to me, fucker pushed me as I was entering with my opal card (Australias version of oyster card) so I socked him in the face and kept going
I have never has any problems on the underground. A few people tried to cause me problems - they learned more in 30 seconds than they learned up to that time in their life.
I had to look hard but it does have a plate on, just blurred to match the colour of the rest of the car, 15:47 is a good example of this where the other car appears not to have a reg, also 16:23 - the red honda has a front reg but after the red focus drives past, it's covered up. Pretty good editing in my opinion, very subtle you can only tell if you know what you're looking for.
Same here a few days ago on the Piccadilly line departing Acton Town heading to Heathrow whilst doing a experiment and I saw a TOX 22 tag also coming back from Heathrow on the Elizabeth line departing Ealing Broadway seen many TOX 22
I hate it when the graffiti people say it is just expression. Well if it was there are plenty wash away alternatives such as survey marking paint or spray chalk. Both are wash away solutions. I know we can’t stop them cold turkey but promoting damage reduction might be the best way .
No. LOL if they think you have guns, or you are on the run, or you are a drug dealer they will kick your door down too. It all depends on what you did.
The ticket inspector makes me very uncomfortable. The film only ever shows him stopping people of colour and he talks agressively. There is not need for that kind of agression and language. It should be noted that ticket inspectors have no authority or power to detain. You can walk away from them.
I’m proud of the police in London for cracking down on people who have no qualms about spraying graffiti on Tube carriages! This scourge needs to stop. Seriously.
The best way to reduce graffiti is through fines for the cleanup. For example, add up all "Tox-3" tags during a given period (recorded & photographed by your cleanup crews), drag the guy into court, and obtain a court order for the full amount required to remove his graffiti. Repeat every couple of months until the guy gets the hint.
Let's attack graffiti then use graffiti to make the station look better. This level of irony combined with old white shirt hero makes this as classic as faulty towers.
I am not a fan of Graffiti but what’s gets me is when it is on bridges and walls and painted over by TfL or Network Rail it often ends up more unsightly than the graffiti wasin the first place -irregular shapes in mismatching colours.
I've got a similar opinion tbh, not a fan of tags and stuff, but some graffiti is very impressive, basically artwork. TBH why don't the authorities allocate certain areas to allow people to enjoy their hobby legally?

what I don't understand is why it's such an issue of ppl don't wanting to show stuff to the ticket inspectors... in my country each train in the country is manned by 2 or more inspectors checking tickets, if you don't have a proper ticket you get the chance to pay the ticket price plus fine on the train, if you don't want to you get escorted off the train at the next station and waited on by either railway police or the national police and you'll have to pay an even higher fine... if not, you'll get prosecuted... and get a criminal record... a few years ago things changed to the point that you can't enter or exit most stations without a legal ticket (the gates check the dates on the tickets automatically to see if they're legit or not)
Probably because the bloke was being aggressive and a total cock, power trip
17:35 I love that ticket geeza, proper Danny Dyer vibes 😂😂
The days when the underground was staffed
I’ve not been to London in a decade. How has it changed?
11:33 that nokia 3310... Not quite sure was it for communication or self defense??? . LOL... 😂
This film's been recorded in the early 2000s you muppet.
11:32 Nokia 3310! That thing probably still has about 60% battery today!
😂😂😂😂
😂
LOL
Why the man in the white shirt so aggressive it’s not his station and he has no right to search anybody or detain him.
The white shirt ticket inspector is a bit too aggressive tbh.
I swear the C Stock suffered the most graffiti attacks out of all the LUL stock?
Although nowadays that standard has slipped in "trains that have been graffitied are not put into passenger use" - the amount of half covered trains I see on the Bakerloo and Central lines is crazy in passenger use
Bloke in white top got his met police application refused lol
@@rurathn5534 Maybe they should work for TFL and put a suggestion in with the people who actually own the rail cars
It’s like somebody coming up to your nicely painted house and spraying too or whatever graffiti shit they want and leaving
Would you still use the same argument when it’s all over your couch and it isn’t stylish at all
And your a Non-Londoner so I don’t expect you to actually care about vandalism or anything
But it actually makes it uglier in my opinion and honestly your POV is legit just the one of a vandal ngl
It’s TFL property not the vandals
These ticket inspectors are so fucking nasty man. Don’t get me wrong I’m all against not paying fare. But these guys are just plain nasty.
I'm so happy there's a second series! Does anyone know how many they made?
A total of twenty-one episodes exist.
S1 had seven, S2 had six and S3 had eight.
So... he should be sent to prison and have his ass inTOXicated then released to do public cleanup of other's shit.
I swear to god if a ticket inspector acted up on me like that just cos he got a camera crew and officers nearby....
I Seen a Tox 22 tag west of Acton Town on the Piccadilly line’s Heathrow branch at Acton District line depot a few days ago. I also seen a couple of Tox 22’s east of Ealing Broadway on the Elizabeth line as well well I think he’s back until he gets caught and given a CBO order
Artists? No. Thieves that steal everyday from the hard working men and women who pay their fare, don't wreck the place and do life well. Those poor blokes breathing those toxic cleaning fumes every night. Actually, it's evil.
Sorry but a cop couldn't search without suspicion of a crime.
The good old days, when there was actually investment in enforcing laws. Imagine a vandal being held on remand and prosecuted these days.
This is actually hilarious. Everyone thinks they are in a drama. THIS MAN HAS BEEN CAUGHT WITHOUT A TICKET!!! SOMEONE CALL THE COPS!!!
Stop calling them graffiti ‘artists’. Those tags are simple vandalism not art...
Graffiti creates jobs, but your probably too thick to understand that
Mellivora Capensis mug
Bro people who think graffiti on Underground trains is 'beautiful' in my opinion is very strange. The trains without graffiti are some of the most beautiful things on the planet (in my opinion). Graffiti should have a hefty sentence like 5 yrs in prison cuz it makes everything so UGLY.
💯💯
10 pound fine because they cant speek the queens English he should of been treated like anyone else
This episode in particular is funny because it shows a time before cards really took off and the ticket apps were only beginning to become a concept. I don't think the paper ticket system will be missed by the police all things considered.
"My Station"
Kurupt 108.9
Tox is watching this with the biggest smile on his face.
I wonder if these touts still exist nowadays with oyster card and contactless
Touts, not fare dodgers.
@M K I had that almost happen to me, fucker pushed me as I was entering with my opal card (Australias version of oyster card) so I socked him in the face and kept going
Plainly Difficult they do, they get an oyster with say, 5 quid credit, and say it has 10 on it
@@jamesdavison1786 That can easily be checked at a ticket machine at any Tube Station
Camden Town! My old neighborhood when I use to live in London. That place is ridiculous and I loved it there. 😂
I have never has any problems on the underground.
A few people tried to cause me problems - they learned more in 30 seconds than they learned up to that time in their life.
Lol I remember seeing Tox everywhere on the tube
they think they have the right to see peoples ID lol. The cops also illegally driving an car without plates on
I had to look hard but it does have a plate on, just blurred to match the colour of the rest of the car, 15:47 is a good example of this where the other car appears not to have a reg, also 16:23 - the red honda has a front reg but after the red focus drives past, it's covered up. Pretty good editing in my opinion, very subtle you can only tell if you know what you're looking for.
graffiti is not a serious crime, get those police preventing knife crimes instead.
New grafitti is appearing like AOUG (you can find AOUG grafitti at chadwell heath
self-promo much. Neek.
I saw Tox in 2021.
On the M1, I saw a motorway bridge.
There was graffiti.
It said TOX 21.
I was shocked.
Same here a few days ago on the Piccadilly line departing Acton Town heading to Heathrow whilst doing a experiment and I saw a TOX 22 tag also coming back from Heathrow on the Elizabeth line departing Ealing Broadway seen many TOX 22
Oh I bet if Banksy did one it would all be OK
At least Bansky creates "meaningful" art, and not just rude words.
And worth loads a money
So whats wrong with the old dude selling tickets? As long as theyre real and been paid for, it should be fine. thats capatilism.
RedstoneRelic Re-selling tickets inflate prices.
Do ticket inspectors still exist on the tube?
Yes
In the sense that there are staff at tube stations and also these plain clothes people checking tickets - yes
I hate it when the graffiti people say it is just expression. Well if it was there are plenty wash away alternatives such as survey marking paint or spray chalk. Both are wash away solutions. I know we can’t stop them cold turkey but promoting damage reduction might be the best way .
What if Banksy tagged the underground?
That would greatly raise its value
UK: *knock knock* Police, Can you let us in please?
US: *busts door open* LAPD GET ON THE FUCKING GROUND!
No. LOL if they think you have guns, or you are on the run, or you are a drug dealer they will kick your door down too.
It all depends on what you did.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The ticket inspector makes me very uncomfortable. The film only ever shows him stopping people of colour and he talks agressively. There is not need for that kind of agression and language. It should be noted that ticket inspectors have no authority or power to detain. You can walk away from them.
It isn’t a race issue if they don’t want to get a ticket
I’m proud of the police in London for cracking down on people who have no qualms about spraying graffiti
on Tube carriages! This scourge needs to stop. Seriously.
Question is: How is the police keep London in general running?
Spoiler: They don't.
These programmes should be on the main channels so public too can help the police.
They were back in the day
9:16 "Have you been rewarded?" strange coincidence...
Choo choo! Time for the train show :D love this show :D
It isn’t a steam engine though so there is no choo choo.
Graffiti is fine on street walls but not Railways and trains
Let's attack graffiti then use graffiti to make the station look better. This level of irony combined with old white shirt hero makes this as classic as faulty towers.
I cringed so bad at the ticket inspector- like holy shit calm the fuck down 💀
I am not a fan of Graffiti but what’s gets me is when it is on bridges and walls and painted over by TfL or Network Rail it often ends up more unsightly than the graffiti wasin the first place -irregular shapes in mismatching colours.
I've got a similar opinion tbh, not a fan of tags and stuff, but some graffiti is very impressive, basically artwork.
TBH why don't the authorities allocate certain areas to allow people to enjoy their hobby legally?
There is a Networl Rail dedicated “graffiti arch” at The Cut beside Waterloo Station.
agreed
Imagine a fight between the ticket inspector and Gordon Ramsay
Ding ding 😄
Nowadays I see "LAGER" graffiti everywhere.
Jon Chui Yeah, LAGER is UP HARD!
IPA
I remember the TOX tag. It was literally everywhere you went in London.
