16:16 POV: You're at an auction for the first time and do not understand the prices.
It's kinda sad to think about how these great workers 20 years ago are probably either retired or dead now.
Dead from what? Definitely not from old age.
@@A_10_PaAng_111 Not all, but definitely at least some are not alive. It is sad to think about it.
Quite a few are still around. Spotted my dad in one of the episodes (a driver), and a few of his mates too.
that’s dark
@@dettrains Just a fact. Can't deny you're gonna stop existing one day
I’m getting a ‘The office’ vibe off these people, it’s hilarious 😅
7:11 Why couldn't this gentleman let the member of staff finish explaining why the escalator was still running downwards, instead of interrupt her?
I’m just wondering where these people are now wow 2002 😮
The ticket inspector is hilarious and is a dead ringer for the guy in People do nothing.
16:16 I’m crying 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Those hats are so professional, like a bad Thomas the tank engine kids clobber!.
If somebody in the leadership had insulted _my_ ability in this way, he would have been looking for another person to do the job pretty much immediately.
I’ve been working my way through this series and every one I watch I have the same question who managed to design such a terrible uniform those hats!
The gentleman wearing the glasses is 💯 correct regarding the escalator operating down instead of up towards the exit.
Brian , The Fred Kite ( I'm alright jack ) of the London underground.
put a sick beat behind 16:16
So the Tory govt thought they could put an axe into the head of unionised Labour by dismantling LT and putting the transport system back into a multi companies non unionised labour run slap dash early 20c. situation ?
Should have kept the Capitals dedicated rail and bus provision as its/a single entity - London Transport, 55, The Broadway. All sorted, regimented a n d
O r g a n I s e d.
"On a bus for 3 hrs"......surely walking would've quicker.
Steve : 1 grandfather was Jonny Rotten, 1 was Kenneth Williams ?
In sweden they just stop the escalators, that way they can be used up AND down.
8:06 that's a lot of cans
For those wondering at 16:16, you're welcome:
So what I'm saying is that guy’s there (everyone's) like I say, there walking out of the station struggling to look for someone so they walk out of the station, (so) I’m just going to walk out…

Whoever chose those uniforms was having a laugh, weren't they?! Talk about Toytown.
A bit garish but brighter than the older ones were from back in the 70s.
Have you seen the uniforms they have now?
16:17 - What?
7:35 Shut up and LEAVE....NOW!!!
at Victoria Station, Steve’s dealing with another emergency, a Passenger alarm’s gone off on the District line platform, and the train is stuck at the station
12:05 that didn't age well nor did 21:19
I'm with Brian on this one.
They need a strik
strike you mean
@@griffany its strik bro
17:35 looks like Rev W Awdry's reincarnation

12:07 You don't work for the union.
Green Park Station has a Emergency In a Shut Down Platform from a Fire
Damn the people are like us here in the U.S.
The US is better then the UK I have to be honest. The UK is too liberal and their is no religion left just degenerate lgbt people
no shit? imagine that..
All those Scabs that went to work, bet they took the pay rise
they didnt et a raise
as I watched I was reminded of an episode of the west wing where the president threatens to federalize the civilian trucking companies to be under the command of the national guard (military) so they couldn't strike why didn't the UK do this to these train workers
Because we have at least some rights for workers.
😅 nice to see ignorant black women are not just here in the usa
The newspaper said” this man wsnts to double or TREBLE their pay”. Uhmmm do they mean triple??!??!
Yes, that's what treble means when not used as a music term.
@@mahkra_ wow. Ive never heard it used that way in the usa ever. Very interesting!
Treble and triple are different words that mean the same. It's not difficult to understand.
No one complains about so little like union workers.
Tory shiteater. Strikes and unions achieve rights and safety for all.
the quicker automated trains are the norm the better, this country is crippled yearly by greedy rail workers
"Greedy rail workers"? Mate, what's wrong with you? Do you WANT people to just be slaves?
@@SilverEye91 but there not slaves are they! train drivers earn on average triple the uk minimum wage salary! conductors, station workers etc are all on salaries far exceeding minimum wage too! but they want more more more and throw the rattle out the pram to get it! Might no dawn on you but the majority of the people useing the tubes and trains are ona lot lot less than the people working the things! im all for better pa and conditions but rail and tube in uk is a fucking joke
The union are still not accepted in the USA. This should be in the UK too. Here in Germany the DB went to court and the union decided to pospone the strike before the judge could say his sentence. I love it how the DB dealt with the Union.
What? Are you saying that worker's rights are not important?
@@SilverEye91 Yes
