    The fact that you can be full body in shot and not say a word this whole time is a true testament to your generation. What a time it must have been in to only be with your thoughts and time, as well as be fit enough to use the new fangle things.
    I can tell you haven't lost that quiet calm which has faded a bit in us "young" ones. I hope riding a bare bones bike like this will take me to that almost forced calm. Too much senory overload these days.
    Also i know you use text but its not the same. An open mic and not even mentioning the actions at hand, even when its bashing your nuckles. Love the style man!

      @teeheee2, Thanks for watching and your kind words. Most people don't "get it" and it is nice to hear from someone who does. I don't speak in my videos for a couple of reasons. First of all, UA-cam analytics says that many of my subscribers live in Thailand and Japan, and I don't speak either Thai or Japanese very well, but secondly, like you, I prefer the peace and quiet in a video. I would rather hear the natural sounds instead of the presenter droning on about their thoughts. This is especially true of "Talk and Rides", where the presenter wears a helmet microphone and talks constantly while riding. I have unsubscribed from a number of channels that looked promising, only to find that they are "Talk and Rides". However, I do see that many "Talk and Ride" channels have over 40,000 subscribers, while I have less than 3,000, so I can tell that that format is more popular than I would expect. I copied the idea of peaceful videos from Vetch Channel, and others from Japan. Seaman Motogirl is another channel with quiet, but very interesting rides. Cub& Element Life is also very good. Here are some videos, I think you will enjoy:
      ua-cam.com/video/_ib0hIayf9c/v-deo.html
      ua-cam.com/video/j62OyG1UJVI/v-deo.html
      ua-cam.com/video/M91pk6opsRA/v-deo.html
      If you look at the channels that made those videos, you will find several dozen similar videos each that have a peaceful and relaxed feeling.

I feel the same way about the Trail 125, I come home with a smile on my face every time I ride one. if you are ok with a top speed of around 50 mph on the highway like I am, and you fit a nice top case on the rear that is rain proof, it will make a fine commuter.

    Vaughn, just a little heads up on the 2023 Gen 2 CT 125. You can not change out the countershaft sprocket to increase the pep of the bike. We've got two Gen 2 bikes now in our group and found out the hard way there is no 13T sprocket that will fit. However, you can still change out the rear 38T sprocket with a 42T from a Honda Wave 125i. You'll also have to change out the chain as the added teeth of the 42T sprocket the stock chain is to short. It really does increase the pep of the little engine, so if you feel the need for some more power, make the rear sprocket change.... Both of the riders in our group really like the larger rear sprocket as we do a lot of riding in the mountain paved roads...... Take care my friend.....

My Dad was my first mentor on fixing mechanical things and he died 20 years ago. My next mentor was my boss at European Motors in Miami, where I worked nights 53 years ago, mostly on MGs and Triumphs. His funeral is today. Am loosing more and more old guys every month or so. @SalopianBivvyman, Thanks for watching and your comment, much appreciated. My youth was all about Triumph 650s and Norton 750s. Then one day at age 65, I came home from a ride on one of my Triumphs all hot and sweaty, exhausted, and thankful that I hadn't hurt myself. I had just bought and restored a 50cc Honda Gyro that week, and took if for it's first ride. I came home from that ride with a grin on my face and a relaxed feeling. The next week I cave away all my Triumphs and Nortons, and started buying small Hondas. Now I am 76, and nothing in my fleet of over two dozen Hondas is over 125 ccs. LOL.. I still come home from every ride with a smile on my face.

      @ker4all, Thanks for watching and your comment, much appreciated. You are doing the right thing, by learning as much as you can about the Trail 125 before you buy one. I obviously like them, as I bought four of them! However, there are a lot of riders who buy them on impulse without study. Tall riders and those with big feet don't seem to fit the Trail 125. Tall riders will complain that the lift bar on the rear rack hits them in the back and the handlebars are too close. They also have trouble with the kick starter being in the way. Guys with big feet complain about the shifter. Also, guys who have never had a 125 cc motorcycle are disappointed with a 52 mph top speed, and buy the Trail 125 expecting it will go 70 mph. I have over 100 videos on UA-cam, but they are a mix of Honda models. To see the videos about the Trail 125, have a look at these two playlists:
      Honda Trail 125 Adventure Rides:
      ua-cam.com/play/PLzD0_ErwwkDCWnAeCGz1vX6DYpoR6DDTs.html
      Honda Trail 125 Technical Videos:
      ua-cam.com/play/PLzD0_ErwwkDDBfcOoQQQYFTY9O0MFEjaH.html
      You won't have time to watch all the videos in those playlists, but just scan through the titles and watch the ones that interest you. Also, you should check out the Honda Trail 125 forum. There is a lot of information there and you can ask specific questions and get answers there:

      @@ker4all I hear you on being scarce in Canada. When the Trail 125 was first introduced into Canada about a year ago, Canadians were telling me that their dealers were saying that they were expecting no more shipments in 2023, and I predicted wrongly, they they were probably wrong. As it turns out, they were right. Canada announced the 2023 Trail 125 about one month before the 2023 was announced in the USA, and Canadian dealers beginning receiving their only shipments a month or more before the USA announcement, and they sold out pretty quickly. I remain baffled as to why Canada only received one shipment. I assume now that all the Canadian Trail 125s came into port on a single container ship, but I do not know that to be certain. I think several batches arrived in the USA throughout the 2023 year. Right now, I am still surprised that neither Honda Canada nor Honda Powersports USA has announced the 2024 Trail 125. Both announcements seem overdue. We still don't know who will get the 2024s and in what color(s). I don't even hear any rumors. If it was like last year, the announcement from Honda Canada will be a surprise when it happens. If you hear anything from your local dealer about 2024, please report back here to let me know if you get any news. Thanks again for watching and commenting on my videos, much appreciated.

      I see Yamaha has entered the competition re: Honda CT world… have you received any insight respecting the Yamaha PG 1

    • @Vintage_Garage
      @Vintage_Garage  10 місяців тому

      @@ker4all All of the news about the Yamaha PG-1 seems to be coming from the release event that was in Thailand. The effort trying to make a comparison between it and the CT125 is sort of forced, as I don't think the Honda Cross Cub 110 is available in Thailand. Likewise, I don't think the Yamaha PG-1 has been announced in Japan, where the Cross Cub 110 is very popular, having being sold well before the CT125 came into existence. If all that is true, I think we will end up finding that the PG-1 is more similar to the Cross Cub instead of the Hunter Cub. However it might be too late, as the the comparison of the PG-1 to the CT125 Hunter Cub is out of the bag, and pretty much impossible to put it back in the bag. All the press including in Japan are comparing it to the CT125, so that will be impossible to revert. I see that it has also been announced for sale in Vietnam. I do not know if the Cross Cub is available in Vietnam. All this is pure speculation on my part, as I have no inside information. The day of the announcement, I did get a heads up from my friend Daniel in Chiang Mai that the PG-1 was being released in Thailand.

    Hello, Thank you so much for putting this video together. I just purchased a Pearl Green second Gen, and I love that you are sticking to primarily Honda OEM accessorys. Thanks again for you videos I really enjoy them. Take care.

    • @Vintage_Garage

      inigwa16, Thanks for watching and your kind words. I bought all of the OEM accessories from Webike about 2 months ago, with the exception of the OEM Top Case, the OEM Lock Cylinder, OEM Lock Body, and the OEM Top Case Inner Liner, which I bought from my local Honda Dealer. In this video, I mistakenly call the Inner Liner a 33L Inner Liner, and Honda calls it a 35L Inner Liner. In one of my prior videos, I compared the 38L Top Case from Webike, and the 35L Top Case for the Africa Twin that I bought locally, and found them to be identical in spite of one being called 38L and the other 35L. I was expecting that by now, the Front Carrier, Windshield, and Center Carrier would be available from my local Honda Dealer, but so far, the USA Honda Powersports accessory web site doesn't list them.. I haven't been by the parts counter recently to ask my local dealer what they see on their screens. I don't expect that the rest of the OEM accessories will ever be available from my local dealer, and certainly none of the accessories to the rear of the seat.

    My fellow rider, I did notice you riding with no gloves. Given the speeds the CT 125 can reach, proper gloves, jacket and helmet are a good investment. I've never gone down on a bike, but I dress like it could happen on any ride. I'd rather walk away clean than have a lot of abrasions etc. Safe riding, love the add-ons!

    • @Vintage_Garage
      @Vintage_Garage  9 місяців тому

      @DH-tp9ns. Thanks for watching and your comment, much appreciated. We feel different on this subject. I always wear a good helmet, and never compromise on that. However, in hot weather, I often ride in shorts, a short sleeve shirt, and loafers, and without gloves, especially when I know my top speed will be less than 40 mph on the ride. I have a good jacket, sturdy trousers and boots but don't consider them an investment. I wear them when I think the conditions for using them are appropriate. I think getting overheated and passing out while riding is a bigger risk to me at my age, than getting some road rash. I don't expect we will agree on this.

I really wish the rider would turn off his microphone until he gets where he is going, and then it is ok to turn it back on if he feels it is necessary to describe the destination. In my case, as well, UA-cam analytics tells me that other than the US, my next two subscriber bases are in Japan and Thailand, and i don't speak either of those languages very well, so I can also use that as an excuse why I don't talk in my videos... LOL. I subscribed to your channel, and have started watching your videos. Richard, thanks for watching and your comment, much appreciated. In my youth, all I rode were Triumph 650s and Norton 750s, and one day when i was 65, I came home from a ride on one of the Triumphs all hot and sweaty, and thankful that I had live through the ride. After a cool down in the swimming pool, I took a Honda 50 cc scooter around for errands, and came back refreshed, and with a smile on my face. The next day all the big bikes went out the door, and I started riding only smaller ones. Now I have nothing in the fleet that is over 125 CC. The biggest complaints I hear about the CT125 is that they are too slow, and too small for tall people (who complain about the seat and the bar on the rear rack, and their feet are too big for the shifter). Some people who don't get it, actually cut the back of the shifter off, as they never tried using the heel shifter with their toe, and not their heel. The guys who think the Trail, Monkey, Super Cub, and Navi are too slow, aren't in the market, and shouldn't buy a smaller displacement motorcycle. They spend hours trying to make them faster, and all they end up doing is killing the reliability, with only a small improvement in top speed. They should have bought a Rebel, or something else, as they are not into slow riding yet in their life. I brought home my second 2023 Trail 125 yesterday, so I will be making the "County Trekking" next, installing all of the H2C parts on it.. Instead of 11 accessories, that one will have more than 20 and I am already tired this morning just thinking about how long it will take to edit that video. LOL.

      @safranpollen, Thanks for watching and your kind words, much appreciated. There is a good demand in Europe for the CT125, just like there is good demand for the Dax 125 in the USA. I don't understand why Honda doesn't offer both to both markets. Perhaps in the future you will get the CT125 and we will get the Dax 125. My guess is that government regulations here may be in play. The USA government overreach requires a different shift pattern than the shift pattern on the Dax in Thailand, Japan and other markets, so a special Dax would have to be made for the USA market, just like a special CT125 had to be made. That doesn't explain why Europe doesn't get the CT125 though.

      @Jupe367, Thanks for watching and your comment, much appreciated. None of the parts were bought from Amazon. Most of the OEM parts were bought from Webike, and some from my local Honda dealer in the US. The non-OEM small accessories were bought on eBay or from Motowolf. I made three unboxing videos that show the part #s and sources for each item:
      ua-cam.com/video/8uspHZ2gUxQ/v-deo.html
      ua-cam.com/video/LbKeLKvP2n8/v-deo.html

      All of the videos have details in the description fields, but really, all you have to do is read the description field in the last one to get a quick summary.

    In a previous video, you installed the Honda OEM hard side "one key" side case on the red CT125. What made you choose the side bag instead?

    • @Vintage_Garage
      @Vintage_Garage  Рік тому +2

      In that previous video, I don't actually install the one key OEM hard side case, as there are no mounting points for it on the 2021 rear rack. Also, when that video was made, I didn't yet have a 2023 Trail 125, so I had no key to use to build the lock cylinder for the hard side case. If you watch that video more closely this time, you will see that I just hold the plastic hard case up where it goes under the left side of the rear rack, but don't actually install it.
      I have a second 2023 Trail 125 on order, and when it arrives, I plan to turn it into a Cub House "Country Trekking" custom, using all three H2C racks, the H2C headlight shield, H2C phone holder, H2C engine farkles, H2C Bag hooks, H2C Pedal covers, and an Endurance (fishing rod) side case and Stream Trail CT125 rear bag instead of a Top Case. In that same video, I decide that the EOM hard side case will not conflict with the Endurance side case, but the Saddle Bag and Saddle Bag mount will conflict with the Endurance side case. That is the reason I put the Saddle Bag on this one, and plan to put the OEM hard side case on the next one. I plan to use the OEM hard side case as a fishing tackle box on the "Country Trekking".

    A suggestion for the "One-Key" Top Case 35L/38L is the addition of the Honda OEM Backrest Pad (08F00-MJP-G50), it is available at any USA Honda Powersports dealer. It is listed as an accessory for the Honda Africa Twin. Cheers

    • @Vintage_Garage
      @Vintage_Garage  Рік тому

      @inigwa16, Thanks for watching and your comment, much appreciated. I'm a bit curious though on your recommendation. I put one of those backrest pads (08F00-MJP-G50), on the Super Cub with rear pegs and a rear seat with a one-key top box, and the pad lightly touches "Lightfoot"s back when we ride together. It is very light, but also very stiff, like hard Styrofoam. Even though the Super Cub doesn't have a traditional key, I keyed the lock on that box to fit one of my older Honda Gyros, so I had a simpler style key that I could duplicate. On the Trail 125, with no rear pegs, and no rear seat or rider, the case is about one foot from my back. The only thing I can think of is that you are suggesting if for protection in a fall or a crash? Is that it?

      @1402Rome1988, Thanks for watching and your comment, much appreciated. I bought the rack from Webike in Japan. Start by going to this link on Webike:
      japan.webike.net/oem_parts/top/
      Then click on the Honda Wing logo under Japan. You will then see the Parts Quotation form. Put 81200-k2e-j10zb into the form and ask for a quotation. Webike will send you an email with the price and instructions to order one. Note that that part number will be for a green rear rack. If you want the black JA65 rack with the extra mounting points, the number is the same but the color code at the end is different. The black ends with za instead of zb. There are many rear foot peg and rear seat options now, that didn't exist when I made my UA-cam video series on how to install the factory rear pegs two years ago. The motorcycle came with rear pegs already installed in a number of countries, including Japan and Australia, so you can simply order the Honda original parts from webike in Japan. When I made the rear foot peg series, the only option was to install the Honda factory rear pegs, and first buy the individual parts, assemble them, and then install them. Here are links to the four videos in the series:
      In the first video, I assembled the rear foot pegs using Honda OEM parts:
      ua-cam.com/video/oj1_6Kxdr5o/v-deo.html
      In the second video, I installed the OEM rear foot pegs:
      ua-cam.com/video/F1tQs4nfkHI/v-deo.html
      In the third video, I installed the rear seat and rear rack extension:
      ua-cam.com/video/SL8PDjq9mCQ/v-deo.html
      In the fourth video, I tested the setup using my neighbor "Lightfoot" as a test rider:
      ua-cam.com/video/yTtK5NrS9lk/v-deo.html
      Since I made those videos, you can now get the rear pegs already assembled from beezdeals.com. Have a look at:
      beezdeals.com/product/rear-passenger-pegs-set-honda-ct125-trail-125/
      beezdeals has many rear seat options. Here are a couple, but there are more:
      beezdeals.com/product/passenger-seat-pad-honda-ct125-trail-125-2/
      Also, if drilling and tapping the rear swingarms seems too difficult for you, there are several bolt on options for pegs that don't require drilling and tapping. I will leave it up to you to browse through the beezdeals web site to see what they have, look at Other and also U Dom Karnchang and perhaps others.
      Before you buy your Trail 125, you should do some more research to see if it is really what you want. I have four of them and they fit me like a glove, and I obviously like them. Tall people and people with big feet complain that they don't fit the motorcycle and constantly struggle to make it fit them. Other people complain about the slow top speed of a 125 cc motorcycle, after buying one and expecting the performance of a 300 cc motorcycle. Many people sell them after owning them for less than a month. If your most important requirement is carrying a rider, at least look at a Honda Grom, or a Honda Navi. They cost less, and are already set up for carrying a passenger.

Last year, I went deaf and blind in just a few months.. got hearing aids, which help some, and eye surgery that worked well enough to let me keep riding. I take blood pressure medication daily, get shots in both of my eyes every 8 weeks for macular degeneration, am 35 pounds overweight, but still drink cold beer now and again, and will eat Lime Leaf Chicken, Thai Hot, and salt my food to how I like it, and play golf once a week. I guess you could say I am not that healthy and at 77, I just don't worry.
      I did buy the Dax e in case I end up loosing my driving license. I wouldn't call it a worry, but rather a practical backup plan. Since the Dax e is an eBike it can be ridden pretty much anywhere in Florida with no license.

    Gus, Yes, a lot of boxes left over.. LOL.. Now I am trying to decide if I have enough energy to do another one. For three years, i have been waiting on a brown CT125, and then starting a year ago, a green, so I could build a "Country Trekking", with all the H2C parts, an Endurance side case, RacingBros rear shocks, and the StreamTrail CT125 bag on the back. Once brown was discontinued, I decided green was better than nothing, and for a few weeks, Cub House was showing all of those items on the green, but I don't think they ever called it a "Country Trekking", and were instead emphasizing the fishing capabilities, with a guy and a flyrod. This video from a couple of years ago, shows the details of the red "City Trail" and the brown "Country Trekking"
    ua-cam.com/video/QpNAtJ_cy-8/v-deo.html
    If you watch the first few minutes of my old video from a couple of years ago, you will see that back them OEM was H2C:
    ua-cam.com/video/xm8G0rILKes/v-deo.html
    and then also, the first few minutes of this one, and read the description for it.
    ua-cam.com/video/UWmTUhJAAdI/v-deo.html
    All the parts for the green "Country Trekking" are either on the shelf here, or on the "City Trail" as I put some on the City Traiil when I was bored and tired of waiting for brown or green. If I get another green, I will move the "Country Trekking" parts off the City Trail and make it back to a simple "City Trail" and then make the green "Country Trekking". One change will have to be that I use the new H2C right side engine cover, and dipstick, instead of the ones for the old engine, as the change of engine dictates a change of those parts. I also don't know what to do with the RacingBros rear shocks. I put them on the City Trail while I was waiting. The greens now come with semi adjustable shocks, and seems a shame to replace them with the RacingBros rear shocks, so I will have to decide what to do with that.
    Lastly, Mancing Tanago suggested that my next meal should be Indomie noodles from Indonesia. They are hard to find in the stores here, so I have a 6-pack of them coming in the mail.. LOL.

      Logan, Thanks for watching and your comment, much appreciated. It's hard to say exactly, as shipping from Japan is expensive, and some of the parts in this video shipped with other parts not in the video, but I'd say a pretty close guess is about $1,500 for the parts including shipping. The One-Key top case I bought from my local Honda dealer so the shipping was free. If I knew I was going to get all the parts, then I'd have shipped them all in order instead of several. The easiest way for you to get an exact price is go to Webike, and build a shopping car with all the parts, then you will get a more accurate number. You don't need to actually order the items, just put them in your shopping cart and see the total and the shipping amount. It took so long between when I ordered the parts and when I got my first 2023 Trail, that I should have used sea freight instead of DHL Express. That would have saved me about $200. You can also now get the front and center racks from your Honda dealer with free shipping. That would have saved another $100 You couldn't do that when I bought the parts 4 months ago. You might be able to get all the parts now, some from Japan, some from your local Honda dealer, and use sea freight and get the cost a bit under $1,200, maybe as low as $1,000. I would think that would be about as good as you can do.

    Really cool little bike but I wouldn't bother. I live in Argentina now and the little 110 and 125's are the majority of the bikes on the road. People can't afford anything more. My XR250 is considered a big bike and is very common for cross country travel. I see notices in the Argentine bikers pages every day about bikers riding all up and down Argentina on a little 110. Ride what you can get your hands on. There are a few big bikes but they are gruesomely expensive. That said I met a couple in Montana riding small bikes. He was on a CB300 and she was on a Grom 125. They had ridden from Vancouver Canada to Minnesota and were on their way back. Always looking for back roads to travel on.

      No you don't. The four rear m6 bolts will line up exactly with the threaded mounting points in either the 2021-2022 rear rack or the 2023 USA rear rack. However, there are no threaded mounting points for the front two M8 bolts, so you could used longer M8 bolts and homemade steel plates below the rack, with M8 nuts. It was common for various rear rack accessories for the 2021-2022 to us steel plates and nuts in a similar fashion. Have a look at this video and you will see an example of using steel plates below the rack for M8 heavy duty bolts:
      ua-cam.com/video/SL8PDjq9mCQ/v-deo.html
      Various methods for mounting rear seats on the 2921-2022 also use steel plates below the rack to create mounting points that don't exist in the 2021-2023 USA rear racks.

      @@inigwa16 I got mine from Webike. Since the rear rack is not an accessory, but rather it is a standard part on the Japanese, Canadian, and some other market versions, you need to use the parts quotation form, rather than search for the part.
      1. go to japan.webike.net/

      6. On the next page, choose "Get a quote now"
      7. On the next page, choose Honda
      8. On the next page, enter 81200K2EJ10ZB and the quantity you want.
      9. Click "Confirm"
      Sometimes almost instantly, but within a day, you will receive an email from Webike with instructions. Follow the instructions. Since shipping will be expensive, you may want to add any other items you want to buy from Webike to your shopping cart, before checking out, so everything can go in one shipment.
      If you just want to go to the quotation form directly without learning how to do it, go here:

    You can't go off road with that gearing and not with a load. You might have to change sprockets but that's a hassle. We need the dual range sub transmission.

    • @Vintage_Garage
      @Vintage_Garage  Рік тому

      @waimeaguyz9074, Thanks for watching and your comment, much appreciated. I hear what you are saying and my friends in Thailand who ride CT125s on the trails in Thailand agree completely with you. Their trails have many rocky and muddy uphill sections, and sprocket changes and big bore kits are pretty much required for their type of riding. If you haven't seen videos from Lazy Dog Productions have a look here:
      www.youtube.com/@TeamDNFracing
      You won't have time to watch all of his videos, but scan through the titles of them and watch a few of the ones on the tough trails there.
      For me however, I'd have to travel to the mountains of Georgia to find an off road trail that would need different gearing. The trails in Florida are for the most part dead level, and I ride them pretty much in second or third gear with the engine just above idle. The trails are mainly old logging roads, or roads left over from turpentine or mining operations from a hundred years ago, and there are no rocks anywhere. How big a load one carries is irrelevant to the gearing here. I have yet to find a trail where first gear is needed, so the stock gearing is perfect for my needs. In contrast to the videos from Thailand, have a look at my riding videos:
      ua-cam.com/play/PLzD0_ErwwkDCWnAeCGz1vX6DYpoR6DDTs.html
      Same thing here.. no need to watch them all. Just scan through the titles and watch any one of them and you will see why stock gearing is perfect here, and a dual range sub transmission wouldn't make any sense.

I had built a one-key lock before, but it was for a traditional key for 1980-2000 or so Honda keys. With the modern "wavy" key, the top of the lock cylinder is assembled first, then it is turned over, and you work on the bottom half. The first time I turned it over to start on the bottom side, all my work fell out of the top half, and I had to start over. After the third or fourth try, I came up with a system where I assembled the top half, and then put tape across it before starting on the bottom half. I also started making notes of which tumbler went in each slot. The set has a half dozen each of 6 possible tumblers and a tiny spring for each tumbler. More than once, I almost had it, and then had to dump all the springs and tumblers out and start over. So it was late in the second afternoon before I finished the top case lock. So I just kept working. I installed the rear saddle bag just as the sun was going down, filmed the quick test ride, and then had dinner at the picnic table as the sun was going down. I think when I make up the key for the plastic rear side box, I will be able to do it in about an hour as long as I don't forget the tricks I learned. I don't plan to set up the key cylinder for the plastic side box until I have the key for my second 2023 Trail 125 in hand, and I don't know when that will be.

      @Fezzler61, Thanks for watching and your comment. No crash bars on this one, as there are no OEM crash bars that I know of. The Gcraft Farm Campster has Gcraft crash bars installed, and I am putting all of the Kitaco accessories including the Kitaco crash bars on the Yellow 2024, which I am essentially making into the old Military Campster I never built because I couldn't get a brown CT125. Have a look at these two videos, first for the Gcraft:

      and then this one for the Kitaco crash bars:

      @@Fezzler61 I hear you. At my age, the weight of the motorcycle dictates how likely I am to drop it. I am most likely going to drop it when getting on and off, rather than when riding it. Once it starts to fall, then I also don't have much strength to keep it from falling if it is falling away from me. My speeds are probably slower than most off-road and on road. So crash bars become a trade-off between weight and protection for the motorcycle. If the motorcycle is light enough, it is also more unlikely that I will drop it.

      Gary, Thanks for watching and your comment, much appreciated. You did better than most. UA-cam analytics tells me that the average watch time on that video is six minutes and 43 seconds. I think you made it to about forty minutes. I put the preview of what the installations would be and in what order, and added the chapter headings so people could skip to any particular accessory they might be installing. It turns out that not many people were interested in very many of the accessories, or more likely didn't have the time or the patience for "Old and Slow" LOL

    Do they make smoother struts for easier ride on the but and legs and back. Always loved these bike when I was younger. Has a CB125 road bike and I’d go any where the big Bo boys.🎣🎿🐊🦌❄️🌨️🏹🏕️❤🎉😎 would go.

      Pat, thanks for watching and your comment, much appreciated. Unfortunately, I am not the right person to ask about shocks, as I always try to keep my motorcycles factory stock in that department and know very little about them. I do know that rear shocks and front struts are a hot topic on the forums. I do think that usually riders are looking for high speed performance over rough terrain, rather than a softer ride. However, I also know from the forums, that quite a few riders complain about the seat on the Trail 125 being too hard for them, and consider it uncomfortable. There are many topics about how to make the seat softer, or change the seat altogether. There are also a lot of topics about the heel shifter being uncomfortable or in the way. For me, the shocks, seat and shifter are perfect, but I am also a slow rider. If you haven't yet joined the Trail 125 forum, I suggest you join, and ask your question there. I think you will find your answer:
