I am so excited to work on my canning skills. This is a fond memory for me with my grandmother. She used to can peaches and beets. She would make relish and different types of pickles. My job was to peel the peaches after they were blanched. It was so hot but I was being conditioned for touching fried chicken in the grease when I was older! LOL. I also just started a journey of eating no "processed" food so I was looking for ways to make my own sauces and I knew exactly where to look. Thank you again for creating amazing and fresh content.
Wow! I was just telling my daughter I need to figure out a way to save tomatoes because we have been wasting a lot of them. Homemade tomato sauce sounds like a good idea. You just posted this video at the right time for me. Thanks a million!!😂😂
I've been canning for years but I have say that your upload is very easy to follow for beginners. Reading the comments is so encouraging as many did not know just how easy canning is. I water bath can my tomatoes and it last indefinitely and all the goodies my garden provides is there in the sauce. Big thumbs up as always....you ma'am are a breath of fresh air
I have even chopped tomatoes, cooked them on stove in a pot with spices and put them in freezer bags and saved them that way for sauces, thank you for sharing 🥰🤗💖
Yesss, it's 2023 n I'm a canning country rural woman from East Texas where I've reached back into the grand skills of my grandmother's n its been a ongoing growth that is saving me tons of money but joy for myself ..thank you for sharing...
Thank You for this easy tutorial for canning tomatoes! This is my first year growing Roma tomatoes & now I’m thrilled to find a beginner video to learn to preserve them after harvesting. God bless ! 😊❤️🙏🏾
Thank you for posting this...I started growing tomatoes in my garden this year and I have been up to my neck in tomatoes ever since; even after sharing them. Great idea!👍😍
After watching your video, thank you for making it. I just wanted to add that canned foods and jarred sauces such as yours can last in dry storage a lot longer than a year. I still have a couple of jarred tomatoe sauce I got in 2019. Canned foods that are not damage never go bad.
Welcome to Sister Madam's Tomato Sauce Factory.😀🥰 For a second, I thought I was watching the "how things are made" show. This is an excellent tutorial!

Hi m from Goa India. I m a new subscriber to ur channel n have watched a few of ur videos n just love them. Just curious to know whether u've been to Portugal or have roots from Portugal bcz many of your videos are quite similar to the cuisine that we cook in goa. And as goa was ruled by portuguese, they have left some receipes for us. N I find it tempting to see similar videos from someone from far a far. Love ur videos. Love to u
Thank you for posting this video. I made some tomato sauce a week ago. Followed the directions and from what I can see, one jar has a white foam building up in the center. The other jars don’t have this. Should I toss out the entire jar to resuse it or just the sauce?
I learned a lot! I'm going to watch you video on how to sterilize mason jars...also I'll want to buy some equipment what do I buy?? What kind of mason jars??
Thanks chief chef for sharing have been doing the paste but I think I must try this one too my problem is where to get extra more mason jars in Ghana, have few smaller ones
