Howdy, fairly new sub. What a treasure these two are. (Sorry whole family 😁), Just checked it out. The wooden set looks cool, I kept meaning to ask what are the vegetable spices used, now I see. Love this channel takes me back. 🙏🙏
Love how you're Nonna and Nonno are old world and old school people, they make me feel such peace and calm when I watch them make food and create wonderful things 😊❤❤

Wow! That’s a lotta tomatoes Nonno brought in! The grandparents are just so delightful!❤❤❤
I watched one of Nonna's video's recently after hearing Vanessa talk about her in her grooming videos. I am so glad I did because I love an awesome grandma. They are so special and we can learn so much from ours. I miss mine but I can enjoy watching others here on UA-cam and in enjoy the ones in my community in Alabama.
Me too. 🤗🌻
Me also from Christchurch, New Zealand.
Me too!
Me too! I'm loving this channel ❤
Understood
Good on you, Julian! Learn from nonna so you can make it yourself and pass it down. There is nothing as good as the love that goes into homemade.
I’m new to Nonna’s channel! I love this channel because everything is homemade, made from scratch! The Italian way!
Thank you Nonna for sharing your recipes and kitchen with us!
We love you! ❤️
Awesome! Thank you! 😊
Italian Grandparents are a precious gift to all of us grandchildren and when they are gone, it is hard without them.

My mouth just watered the entire video. I definitely want to get up & make me some! When my Nonna was alive everyone in the kitchen with an assigned task to make the cooking process go quickly. I miss those days. I love your videos!! I feel like I'm visiting family ❤
I love this video, not only watching Nonna making homemade tomato sauce, but your grandson wanting to learn to make it and your granddaughter visiting. This is famiglia! God bless you!❤️

Nonna should sell her sauce!!! I’d love to try it!!!❤
Oh Nonna, you inspire me to make my own tomato sauce! My Mom used to can all sorts of things, but never tomato sauce. She was Czech, and my Dad was Hungarian. I cook dishes we grew up on. But I married an Italian, and well, we both love Italian food!! So, I better get busy and can my own sauce to make our favorite Italian dishes! I've learned so much from you and thank you with all my heart! Blessings to you and your family!!😊🍅🫑🧄🧅🍆🥬🌶♥
Sounds great! I hope you enjoy it! Glad you are learning 😊
These Saturday morning uploads are perfect, LOVE the family vibe! God bless y'all. 🙏🇮🇹👍✌️
Glad you like them! 🔥
Thank you Nonna, I will now be making and jarring my own tomato sauce.
She's so sassy 😂❤
I love her, I could listen to her talk all day 😊💕
Nonna can make anything she and her sweet Husband are so precious ❤❤
Beautiful family!
Hi Nonna, Nonno, Julian , Vanessa, & Maxwell, this video is fascinating for me,the process of making the tomato cooking sauce so interesting, thank you for sharing this process with us. Love Katherine
Omg I would love to try Nonnas sauce❤❤❤
WOW! That canning process is so much easier than a water bath! And you can tell she really enjoyed making the sauce because she talked so much more then previous episodes. Get her to talk more in all episodes Julian!
thr most beautiful family ever
Great idea Nonna! Soooo much easier, thank you! 💕👌👍💕 Burst out laughing at 4:30-4:35!! A look is worth a thousand words and the infamous fingers together, hand moving, Italian gesture is worth a million words! 🤣😂🤣🩷
I used to can tons and tons of juice and sauces when my sons were growing up. We havent canned in years I miss it. With grocery prices so high we need to!
I’ve seen memes of Italian moms and grandma’s cooking and “sticking their hands in the boiling water” and not being affected and its hilarious 😂 when you asked her that it reminded me of those memes
Thank you Nonna and Nonno! You guys are great! I wish I lived next door to you guys!
Our pleasure!
My sister grows tomatoes she had a huge bag and she gave me some. I had too many tomatoes and I didn’t know what to do with them. Thank you for showing us this video. Next time I get tomatoes I know what to do with them! My mom (we’re Mexican) cooks by eye. So I have an idea of the amounts nonna is putting in the sauce with the peppers and garlic 😂
Priceless and well worth the watch.
Nonna Sei Forte ! Noi abruzzesi siamo forti e gentili❤👍
Finally! Just ordered the vegetable seasoning from your link! Thankyou for that! I’m processing my tomatoes next week! I love this time of year to fill up my pantry…also love your videos! From one Nonna to another Nonna❣️ 👋🇨🇦
Awesome, glad to hear! Hope your processing goes well 😊
I will never forget the time, a Italian lady I worked with, was talking about making sauce over the weekend. At the time, I just got married, and really wanted to learn. She invited me over to learn. To this day, I still use her recipe. This is so great for you to remember how Nonna made the sauce you grew up loving so much. So glad to be able to be "apart" of your family. I've been taking notes on recipes.
Wow, Julian! I think this was one of your best videos with Nonna and Nonno! Thanks.
Thanks!! I’d love to try making this sauce someday, but on a smaller scale. You guys are inspirations! ❤
Most valuable sauce in the world. Learn everything you can. I wish I learned my grandmother’s meatball recipe. Michelin Star Chefs eat your ❤out.
Thank you so much for sharing the traditions of your wonderful family! I don't have any grandparents or parents left so I know the importance of cherishing what you have, while you have it, and I love that we can be a part of that! This reminds me of pickling many kgs of beets from our garden every autumn using our family recipe! Food is a big part of my family's legacy, and it's obviously a huge part of yours, and it's wonderful to witness. Much love from Denmark.❤
❤
Jullian (sp) you kill me. Getting playfully annoyed while the food processor runs as you’re trying to talk!🤣🤣
Just saw a couple of your video’s, and was astonished by how much your Nonno looks like a Covino, my mothers family name, one of her brothers is Uncle Vince Covino. Your nonno and my Uncle could be brothers. Lol.
Do you mind me asking what part of Italy they came from?
We are in Australia, but our grandpa, was in America for awhile, then went back home to Italy and married my grandma, had a bunch of kids, they were supposed to go to America, as grandpa had siblings still there, or Australia, but before the decision was made he passed away from heart attack, so young. After a year nonna my mum and her little brother went to Australia as all her older children had gone years before, most had been married already.
Everything you do, we do here in Australia. Hopefully the old ways don’t die, it’s good to see you young ones learning these things! Myself I didn’t become interested till late in life, thank god my daughter stayed around her nonno and nonna a lot, so she knows how to do everything, cause I certainly didn’t tell her had to help me while I was doing those things. Didn’t want the arguments, but kids aren’t too sassy with nonna’s!
Maria (Julian's mother) is sassy with Nonna sometimes. But Nonna is always right.
What a fantastic loving family! Wow Nonna and Nonno sharing the sauce recipe ❤. Vanessa and her new baby❤️❤️❤️. I too have a foster fail. 🎉🎉🎉
The video I've been waiting for! 😊
When my Grandad was younger (93 now) she would grow a lot of tomatoes in her garden and in the summer vacations my mom and her sisters would always make tomato sauce together with the exact same way! I am from Greece, I guess we (Greek and Italians) are very similar in a lot of things! I am sure the sauce is top notch 🎉
This is me tomorrow, I’ve got a garden full of
Your grandparents are so incredibly cute!!! Thanks for being a smile to my face!!!
I was thinking of a bigger wooden spoon for stirring such a big pot of sauce. As usual, Nonna, your recipes are delicious!
I love watching you guys. You remind me of my mom and dad and my wife's parents too.
All I can say is bellissimo. ❤
You need to make more videos, at least one a day. You make my day. Thank you all
The sauce looks incredible! Yum!🍅🍅🍅
all those jars of homemade canned tomatoes is a beautiful sight🌷
Yes they are!
The best way to make tomato sauce. Nonna doing it by scratch makes the sauce even more delicious because there are no preservatives
Thank you so much for sharing your sauce recipe and the brand of vegetable seasoning!! Been wanting both!! Precious family, precious traditions! ❤
Tell Nonna her hairstyle looks beautiful today!
She’s beautiful 😍
The minute a Spicy Nonna video came up I was glued to the screen ❤❤❤ P.S. I love a foster fail! What a cute pupper!!!!❤
My uncle always blended his tomatoes for the sauce. I found it gave a good flavor and was delicious!
Thank you for sharing how you canned and stored tomato sauce.
God bless!!!
Saluti a Julian e Nonno e Nonna! I married into an Italian family and we can our tomatoes every year too. Slightly different process, but with just the same amount of love in each jar. Enjoy your time together and make sure Julian learns all this to carry on the traditions
I am making some now! Thanks Nonna!
Thank you, Nonna!
Thank you for the video
I love watching all of you especially Julian with a wooden spoon actually by the stove. This method of sauce making is genius. The little doggie is adorable. Much love from NYC...
We do it the same way, only celery instead of peppers and no spice mix. Tradizione! ❤
Sounds great!
They’re like scientists with the sauce! Love it! So real so good!! 😊
Leave an inch or half inch of headspace then put the lid on.
Love you all and the great recipes.

Thanks for sharing this recipe. I had no idea you could do canning without the boiling water bath. Much easier. Nonna's knowledge is a treasure. I never knew but one of my Grandparents, she passed when I was four. So this channel is a treat for me. I'm a a 74 year old woman. I Love your content. ❤❤❤

So cool to learn this cooking method. I love how Julian did the Italian hand gesture! They need to make an emoji for it. Love to see the family together; it touches my heart. xoxo
🤌🏼🤌🏼
The cloth covering is to protect the jars from the cold, which could cause the jars to Crack if it cold.. that's my bajan way of doing mine. The sauce looks great
I’ve been canning for years and always, peeling, peeling, peeling the tomatoes. Boy was I wrong! I’m going to use the blender this year! If it passed the Nonna and Nonno test, it’s good for me too. Thank you ❤️
Always canning foods and never seen this way before… will have to try

I noticed Nonna doesn't add any acid to her jars, everything I've read says you should ....so not sure...these looks great!!!!
I love your family and food. I tried to get the stuff from Amazon but its not available in the Netherlands. Is it a Canadian brand?
Amazing 😮
''Nonna you have hands of steel, handling those hot jars''
Nonna: ''Yeah okay yeah''
*goes back to juggling boiling tomato sauce*
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Nonna, family nice video and nice recipe fresh canned tomato sause.
I was wondering, what kind of olive oil do you suggest using? Love these videos! Made with love. ❤😍🤤😁👍
Love you guys❣️
I always loved "sauce season!" At my gramma's! ❤❤😊😊
I love that u're trying to learn this from her!! ❤❤ yummy 😋 😋
Thank you 😊
Awesome family 😊 and Nona is a wonderful cook
Do you get all your tomatoes out of Nonn's garden or where do you get 1.5 bushels from? I love your videos and your Grandparents thanks for sharing 😊😊
Thank you so much for sharing! I love your channel. Quick question, do you need tomato paste for the sauce?
No tomato paste needed 😊
I use this method, the heat of the jar will seal the lid, never ever had a problem. The lid will have a small dent when it seals and if you press your finger in the middle of the lid there should be no lump indicating it is sealed
Yeah, this is how I do it too
I’m here. You can start now.
