    • @unclemattscookerylessons

@@Edward_Ardy4671 monsanto is a giant in food production that messes with gm foods, they insert their board members into government bodies all over the wold and basically influence those countries for their interests. It's worth having a little look into it, very corrupt

@@Edward_Ardy4671 yes, they have destroyed the livelyhoods of many primary producers and many others and forced gm foods to dominate the market and therefore give Monsanto a lot of control over food production and availability. gm foods have contributed to a lot of problems and imbalance in the ecosystem.
there are a lot of concerns with long-term human health when ingesting GM foods. there are suspicions of coverups around human health effects similar to the coverups in the sugar and tobacco industry, but as yet definative proof of this is difficult.

Watching this while taking a break from bottling my own passata. Tomatoes grown from seeds given to me by a couple of old tobacco growers; one gentleman was originally from the same area of Sicily! Memories of sitting around the tub cutting the cores out of the tomatoes, learning Italian swear words, drinking home made wine, and listening to the stories 😊

Sounds like an amazing memory you got there. Really grateful that my content was able to bring that back to you. Keep it close to your heart and cherish every bit of it. Did you try out this recipe in making passata? I'd also like to know how you make your own passata.

Unfortunately I'm the only one left to carry on the old traditions but I'll keeping doing it until i can't.
