@@FlawdTV Ashley is the GOAT of Moderators! So this was the video that planted the seed that got you your first Guitar huh? Thats so dope that it was during an Iron Maiden reaction! Ive seen Iron Maiden Live and it probably was the best sounding and visually pleasing concert Ive ever seen live! And Ive seen Metallica, Guns N Roses, Motorhead, Anthrax, Megadeth, Motley Crew, Pantera, to name a few of the big stadium sell out shows and Iron Maiden stays at the top for me! Hopefully you get to here "Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner" by Iron Maiden soon!
Ashley!!
Seeing this live was a real treat. I’ll never forget it.
I've seeing it live also. More than once.
Don't remember one note of it.
Seen them many times, These boys never disappoint! Awesome live!! Up the Irons 🤘
Lucky, but awesome
I seen them once during the 666 tour and it was unbelievable.
Fucking rights! Seen them play this twice! My favorite maiden song!
Anyone who don't or can't f with maiden, cant be trusted
😂😂
What?
Same with black sabbath
@@JonathanGarcia-pq5hg and Deep Purple
Almost 50 years still touring and still sound this good. Mount Rushmore of Heavy Metal!!
Yes the do. I saw them several times of the last few years and they get better and better each time.
Wait, blacks are protesting using Mount Rushmore in any top 4 list!!! It's racist!!!
What am I to feel or identify as in this day and age???
One of the greatest songs of all time! Pure talent of musicianship, songwriting, vocals, lyrical content and poetry. 🤘
no, it's not even close.
@@MrKdr500you my friend are a dork.
@@MrKdr500you will quickly learn not to fuck with Iron Maiden fans! 😂
R.I.P. Clive Burr , one of the best drumers i saw live , im 57 and i saw them in this world tour 🤘❤🤘
Legendary song. Legendary band.
Also, Eddie is the greatest mascot in the history of mascots.
I remember when I first heard this song, when I was 15 years old, change my life forever and introduced me to this type of heavy metal singing and guitar 🎸 playing.
Best time to be alive and see the most epic live concerts!!! 🙌🙌🙌🙌
One of their best!
A true classic in the Maiden realm....thanks for that! Peace👊
you got the version right!
Bruce on fire, Clive on drums.
best Maiden in my opinion!
Bruce has the kind of talent that would have made him a success in any genre, whether its heavy metal or opera. The dude is simply amazing.
Super fab choice! Love the reactions. Bruce Dickinson has several nicknames but, the one I knew as a teenager was, "The Siren." They were one of the first bands I saw at my very first concert. "Day On The Green" -1982. Seeing "Eddie" larger than life. And they were perfection. I remember this first concert because, all my friends had already hit the music scene and, my dad didn't allow it until I got a little older. He bought me art rocks with a "Rock Group with Fans" told me there was my "Rock Concert" at 14 I didn't think him funny. I do now. Anyways, thank you for this little trip back in time. Peace On Ya
The human air raid siren!!
I saw them at the Palais Theatre in Melbourne on this tour in 1982 and they blew the roof off the place.
you should see them do this in 2008 toronto canada with 3 guitarists. bruce born in 58 still killing this song. greatest live band ever.
Been a fan of this band since 1979 and seen them live in 1980 with original line up. And than after that every time they came around I was there.
Same here...I saw them for the first time as the opening act for Judas Priest on the British Steel tour at the late, great Spectrum in Philadelphia...and many times thereafter...😎🎶🎸
*This is one of my most favourite song. Whole world knows that Iron Maiden is one of the greatest heavy metal band in earth.*
*In this song first solo played by Guitarist Dave Murray & second was Adrian Smith. Vocalist - Bruce Dickinson (A man with many talents. Don't forget to read his biography), Legendary Bassist & Founder of This Band - Mr. Steve Harris (Their maximum songs written by him. Also he's world's no. heavy metal bassist) & Drummer - Clive Burr. All members are very talented & energetic. Their maximum song's live version is better than studio version. It sounds weird but true. 😅 If u wanna know more about this band then visit wikipedia. I'll also suggest you to react on all songs of Beast Over Hammersmith Live 1982 & Rock in Rio 2001 live concert. Btw lots of love from India. ♥️♥️♥️*
*Up The Irons. 🤟🎸🔥*
This is so dope never thought I would see this reaction I seen them live before it was so sick keep reacting and I'll keep watching.
Such an amazing band. I would recommend looking into their first 2 albums as well.
Yasssssss!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘
ShoopDogg in da hizzy!!!
One of the greatest metal performances ever in the history of music ever
Still get goosebumps listening to Maiden after all these decades. They still slay it. Have seen them at Wacken Open Air. If you have the chance to see them on their US tour, do it!
Iron Maiden is by far my favorite metal band of all time. Between them and pantera were the bands that shaped my guitar love they are the roots. Amazing talent all around! 🤘🏽
no auto tune and beats composed in FL studio. Just real musicians doing their thing 🤘
Iron Maiden and Judas Priest are the kings of metal.
And everyday they pray to their God, RJD

@@DioIsTheBest Yeah, they were friends.
this song was voted 'the most influential metal song ever'
RIP Clive Burr. Such a great drummer.
Maiden's best drummer in my opinion and Bruce's.
@@chilly6470 In everybody's opinion. We all love Nicko but the truth is that Burr was ,by far, a better drummer.
@@JAM-ic8kv why did Steve fire him?
I love your reactions bro so honest and educated stay real bro it’s awesome and absolutely needed
Unbelievably great performance. I love seeing people hearing classics like this, for the first time
Thank you two for discussing the meaning of the lyrics. I enjoyed watching your reactions. Nice job!!
1 of the best Maiden songs....The lyrics, the build up,the tempo change, the voice, THE SONG!!!!!! HOLY HELLA...😊😅😂
Long live iron maiden !!!!!
Learning guitar is difficult at the beginning. You have to be persistent. I’m self taught and started by learning song riffs that I liked…helps keep it interesting vs just learning technical details. But there’s a lot of help online nowadays…which can be useful to learn proper technique so you don’t learn bad habits. Overall it’s worth the effort. I’ve been playing for 20+ years now…glad I put the time in when I was a teenager and stuck with it. It’s about having fun and learning new music. Don’t have to become a pro/virtuoso to have fun.
That is the Power of Heavy Metal Music
1 of the best bands to see live. I didn't get to see them until I was 13 back in 1984. It was my very first metal show and epic it was.
Crazy to think you’ve just heard of iron maiden iv been jamming to them sense I was 17 I’m now 60 and stilllisten
They just announced their US world tour. They are a must to see live. These guys are amazing Bruce’s voice is second to none.
That's the thing about Maiden. Just about every last song was about something. Usually it was about a book, or some historical event, but Maidens songs were never just about the noise, it was never just about smashing or getting high.
To be fair, speaking about history is easier than producing new ideas from zero. Still, they do it better than everyone else.
@mattvideoeditor is that supposed to mean something?
Great band, great review! Up the irons!
Up the Iron’s 🤘🤘
Pure and utter brilliance
Gotta see Maiden twice, very theatrical and very impressive...super Loud! Dynamite... Bruce Dickinson`s voice is Legendary. "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" is a must Guys!
Iron Maiden is like a fine wine they get better with age. I've seen them 30 times since 1981 and they always kick ass.
"when the priest comes to read my last rights, take a look to the wall for my last shite".... Always gets me. He was a true asshat, till the end came near!
Its cool that im metal since little but i subscribed to you for the tom mac reactions and now you give metal reactions as a big bonus
THAT IS THE ONE OF THE BEST TUNES ...EVER .....U ROCK MAIDENS
From 1982 and 2023 still in the Liveset
Been a fan of the irons for 40 years and this is one of my fav songs. Saw them live in Oz in 2018, seeing them again live in 2024.
This song is so epic live! The vast majority of their songs are truly epiv live for that matter but this one really stands out!
I did many lights shows in the early 80's...I had a studio and lighting/sound company! Was the best time of my life!🎉❤
I can't count how many Iron Maiden concerts I attended back in the day. My first was when I was 13. I told my dad that they were playing in Denver (all the way accross the state) he asked me how I'd get there. I said the bus. He replied no! Do you think all the other parents would let their kid ride the bus to Denver. I said, if all the other parents jumped off a bridge would you? I won!
the kicked off the concert last month in indio california. such an awesome concert. iron maiden guns n roses judas priest acdc tool and metallica We had a great time seeing all of them
Got this album when I was 13, back in '86. Changed my life. I'm now 50, watching you kids discover it.
RIP CLIVE BURR GREAT DRUMMER
This Music changed my life 40 years ago...... I'm 53 and still a headbanger !!!
Helll Yessss Up the Irons 🤘
Saw them live for the first time in the early 80''s in Utrecht with Paul Di'anno as singer.....
I love you two visit old school music.. Brilliant really no one else does this.
5:44 onwards: I love the "clank"! on Steve Harris' bass strings. Fan since 1981! Saw that tour back in what, 82 or 83 in Quebec, Canada. Peace Out!
Top 5 metal songs of all time.
Maiden and Metallica are two fav bands and this is my fav Maiden song. I've seen them live 6 times, and they always deliver. Last time was 2022; the members were 60 years old and still slaying it on stage!
best band ever walked at earth ! as we say in Greek " Πολυτιμη" !
Just discovered your Channel! Amazing 🤟
One of the very best Heavy Metal songs of all time...when I die, I hope I hear this in my head; "Life down here is just a strange illusion"
Everyone has to start somewhere. Once you know three basic chords you're off...
You have no idea how many beers me and my buddies drank while listening to this band when I was a teen. I bet you could fill a swimming pool lol. Definitely learn to play guitar it's so much fun.
I hope heaven is treating you right Clive... we still miss you❤
As a teen in the 80's, it was a golden age for Metal, and Maiden was at the top of the heap. Up The Irons \m/
@Flawd TV: Just to give you some context:
This performance was in 1982. It is older than I am, and Floor Jansen of Nightwish was only a toddler when Bruce Dickinson sang this song -- which, when he did, not many people even knew who he was. In many ways, this was Bruce Dickinson's Wacken 2013 moment, like it was for Floor Jansen and Ghost Love Score.
And to top it all off, the album this song came out on had not even been released yet, so everybody here in the audience was hearing a brand-new song in Hallowed Be Thy Name in this performance.
Literally my favorite song of all time, hands-down. It's 2 guitar solos btw, kind of like Q&A. They show most of Solo A but you only get a glimpse of Solo B in this video. The live version is sick, but in headphones with proper dynamics you can't go wrong with the remastered studio version from Number of the Beast.
We were all so young then... Gee whiz. Iron Maiden told me so many interesting stories.
Seen them amazing concert
I wholeheartedly support if you decide to start playing guitar flawd.there is no better feeling than jamming in the pocket with others!
My start as a Metalhead was 1980 i was 13 years old and today with over 55 years and still long hair like the Singer of Iron Maiden , is that the same strong love to Heavy Metal Music = Heavy Metal is the Best Music on this Planet !
É emocionante ouvir esta música!
She is Absolutely Correct this is freakimg Dope !!
5:50 One of the reasons why Guitar Hero has the answer/reply challenge. Remember, back in the day, metal guitarist would do it for fun. Have battles, today it is prolly tiktok ;) no bands.
Like great rappers had battles, now on tiktok, no rappers.
I am happy to have seen the tail end of this music and the renaissance in the '90's. And the Rolling Stones still tour ;), they are from the 60's.
Rock is life baby. And like Jay Z said, "Rock it".
There were two people played the solo's.. started with Dave Marray and finished with Adrian Smith.. sadly Adrian's part isn't shown, except for the very end.
I read somewhere that Adrian was in a back brace or something and was feeling self conscious when this was filmed and asked to not be in much of it
🔥🔥🔥
Bruce Dickenson, the "Air Raid Siren" himself.
True legends!
Maiden is amazing glad the flawd one seen this.
Maiden is just on another level than everyone else ..
Greatest metal band ever!!!!
Wait, what!?...Reaction to Maiden?
Awesome!!!
The undesputed fucking goats of Heavy Metal
Great reaction these guys live are freaking incredible , Check out "Fear of The Dark",
A group called cradle of filth did a cover for this song and it was fucking amazing.
Classic Maiden, untouchable.
Greatness right there!
Gotta watch all their live videos. All their songs tell a story.
My lifelong favorite song!
And that's how you perform an encore!
The Prisoners is another great song off of what’s considered by many to be Thee Heavy Metal Album of All time !
next try the clansman live rock in rio 2001. about sir william wallace fighting the english invasion in the 1200s. FREEDOM. not only does the drummer dance a scottish dance but bruce squats down and starts dancing with a guitarist. and no i don't know he gets both feet off the ground at once.
Y es solo el comienzo! Up the Irons!
Was laying in a bed in the ER and looked at the heart monitor as it flatlined....woke up 12 hours later in the same bed. No, no afterlife visions or anything.
Great job with your reaction to the song Hallowed Be Thy Name from Iron Maiden . In The first part of the video Bruce DICKINSON was motion he need to hear the instruments so he wouldn't be singing over them . This video has there original Drummer sorry I can't think of his name but may he Rest In Peace.
this song is in the heavy metal and rock and roll hall of fame.
And seared into the brains of millions upon millions of people world wide !
muuuahahhahaha!!!
😅😆😂🤣😀🤘🤘🤘
Hell yeah 👏
