I love how thorough your reviews are. It great being able to get a full rundown of various products instead of getting a short blurb. You can send the TinyHawk to me in Indiana!
15:50 choose channel 2 top right ;-) This is a great charger. Got it in use for 6 months now. Works great, save your settings, overcharge, power cord or field-lipo powering! Nice balancing and very easy and fast to use touchscreen... very worth the money
@@ELValenin Yes, believe it or not it's getting to be common practice lately. I put it down to plain ignorance. Sadly, these people don't realise the fire risk it involves ...
Not sure if anyone mentioned it in the comments, but it does come with XT60 cables. The Deans cable you plugged in is the cable you always need to use. Left as is, it works as a standard Deans connector, but you can also connect one of the other adapter cables to the Deans cable (eg. XT60, crocodile clips, or Tamiya cable). That's why the other 3 cables have the female Deans connector on one end. They are meant to plug into the male Deans connector on the cable you plugged in.
I got this off Amazon and it's a really good charger.Touch screen very responsive and shows so much info about the charging and battery status.I would say it's a really good charger.
I'm from Arizona (U.S.) and would love to get this whoop because I can't afford many quads right now and this would be a blast to whoop around the house! My dream whoop but I can't get it anywhere because it's all sold out. Thanks for the opportunity and good luck everyone!
Based on your and a few other reviews I picked up one of these chargers last month, and a couple 5200 mAh 2S LiPo batteries. This month I got a Redcat Gen8 truck and "just now" as I'm re-watching this video I am using this charger for the first time and really liking it. --- Anyone buying this charger should be aware that it comes with a Chinese wall plug, if you're in the U.S. you will need to get a standard Desktop computer power chord to use it. And be aware that the default charge rates are quite high. For a 2S LiPo it defaults to 5 Amp, I set mine down to a safe 1.2 Amp because I'm not in a big hurry to get the battery charged. --- My previous charger is a Venom DuoPro which I find "extremely" difficult to use, and channel 1 got "stuck" in some setting for a battery I don't even have. This HTRC T240 is a breeze to configure and use. So far I'm diggin' it :>
I'm from the UK. If I'm looking at something new I always come to your channel first to see if you have reviewed it. That way I know if it's good or Not. Awesome work
Great video as always, nice looking charger. We don't get much of a winter here in southwest Florida but the summers suck, hot, humid, and rain almost everyday. Thanks for the opportunity and good luck everyone.
Thanks for the video! I have been searching for a good inexpensive lipo charger for both me and my brother-in-law. I actually came across this one on Amazon, but I didn't know anything about it or if I could trust it, but I see that is is awesome.
Good choice. I have a Venom DuoPro and it's very difficult to configure and use, and my channel 1 got "stuck" in some weird settings and I can't get it back out of that mode. This HTRC T240 was super easy to configure and to use.
@@DFDuck55 I would buy another one for sure. I'm going to when i get the money again. 1 for the kitchen and one for in my room. Then i can just take the one if i need to charge

I come from Germany and find your channel great. I watch every video and always look forward to the next. Thanks for that.
Thank you Justin. You have taught me a Lot. I have one Old car that is on nicad, step up to slightly newer truck on nmhd, and one car 10 years old on lipo. Anything that will charge all types and is inexpensive is most definitely appreciated. Thank you for alll of your work and reviews! God Bless Buddy ✝
So many different leads people use its ok that they used deans as a common type adapter. I use deans on 2s and ec5 for my 4s. I had to buy a pair of ec5 leads but it was only $11 so not a deal breaker. When adjusting current or any other values for charging you can just press and hold. Overall I'm happy with mine. It was a pain looking for a new lipo charger since I've been out of the hobby for 12 yrs, there's a lot of options out there and I was lucky to find this one. Obviously better chargers out there but this one is pretty solid for midrange price.
Middle Tennessee hear... near Nashville that tinyhawk is really wanting to come a whoop the the Country music hall of fame! Hopefully it will Not go down in a burning ring of Fire!
Wow i was just looking for a good charger under 100$!!!!!! GREAT CHANNEL. 👍😀👍 Thanks 4 the GIVEAWAY!!! Tiny hawk looks really cool! Would be great for the cold winter's we have in Ohio!!!!! Thanks
Nice charger! Might have to look at this one. Watching this from the Land of Oz, also known as Kansas. I'll have to recommend this charger to Glinda to charge her broom...lol
Hi Justin, I am from Slovakia EU :) It is already cold here so tinyhawk will help me have some fun inside :) Good job. Thank you. BTW I have this charger and like it sooo much.
Thanks for the great reviews. The Tinyhawk would be great to have for the winter as I do not have any indoor quads and it's getting really cold outside!. From all the videos I've seen it looks really good. Nurk loved it in his recent video too. That charger seems pretty nice too, the two channels would be really useful. I'm from England in the UK. Thanks!
Hi , check with you about the set up hopefully i do the correct set up. 1) 8000mah 4s Htrc balance charging set up should be, Battery cell - 4s HV Charger current - 8.0A End voltage - 4.35 v/s 2) 5200mah 2s Battery cell - 2s Charge current - 5.2A End voltage - 4.2 v/s
Hey Justin, G' day from South Australia. We have a severe weather warning here in Adelaide today, would be great to be able to fly indoors 😉. My son and I are new to fpv and are loving your content btw.
Actually, you plug the dean to xt60 into the banana to dean which is in the charger. He was wrong, I have this charger and that is what i did, it is an adapter
Need this charger and tinyhawk! Just got done building brushed whoop and now wanting to jump into the brushless micro world! Oklahoma City in the house!
Thanks I got it all figured out Justin. I didn't want to mention on this charger you said had two fans inside. Correct me if I'm wrong I believe it only has one. Thanks Keith Kuhn
Hi Justin, thanks for the giveaway ! I’m currently living in Spain and would love a Tiny Hawk for the winter months. Keep up the good work dude - cheers !
Hi Justin. I bought this charger about a month ago and love it. I don't know why I thought that the DC 11-18 port was output instead of input, BUT I wanted to see if it was output. Surprisingly, it is. I'm getting 16 volts, but I don't know the amps. I've tried using a multimeter, but the probes spark and the charger resets. If you have a multimeter that can read higher than 10 amps, could you see how much it is putting out? I've been using my Mini TS-100 solder iron plugged into that port. No problems so far. Just want to make sure I'm not damaging the TS-100. Pretty good video.
@2:25 dude..there is a tx60 with female dean's connector lead to plug into the male dean's connector...no need to clip it off..it does come in handy sometimes.
Another great video Justin. I' m learning a lot on your channel and I am choosing all of my first equipment. This gives me great info about chargers and is very helpful. The Tiny Hawk would great to win for me as a beginner but anyone will be blessed to win it. Thanks again.
Hello Justin. Great video content in all you do, love it. Learning a lot, and owe some of that to you. Thank you. Would be great to fly indoors this winter with that tiny hawk
Nice charger however my Venom Pro Duo working for me just fine. I do hear that "Tinyhawks" love to fly in Michigan, so, send it on brother just to keep peace and keep the "Hawks" happy! lol Thanks Justin, Jeff
I have one of these and the drawback is the noise the fan makes even when it's in another room, apart from that it works great. Ps, you had it set to the wrong channel when you got the error message.
Alan Haberfield have you tried internal resistance? Mine changes with every button press. Also default for storage is 3.8. I program to 3.85 but it lose memory back to 3.8
Justin the tinyhawk looks amazing and I would absolutely have a blast with it and would be much appreciated. Seems like a quality charger, Iowa in the house lol
I have found two issues with this charger that I don't understand. Maybe someone can comment and explain what is happening: 1) At 21:00 in the video, watch how the voltage increases after starting the charge but then around 21:06 it drops off. If you watch the monitor scree when it does this you'll see the cells increase and drop off as well. Why? I don't believe the pack is really increasing at that rate just to drop off. 2) If you look at the cell voltages on the monitor screen with out the main connector plugged in, the voltages are wrong (#1 cell specifically). Any ideas why?
Great vid. That charger is perfect I'm still a bit new to the hobby I've been waiting a micro and I'm now going to get a new charger. I'm from Sacramento,CA the smoke is pretty bad here from the fire at Camp Fire. Thanks for the chance to win
That tinyhawk needs to come to Lisbon, Portugal. 😛 I also need to get that charger on a black Friday deal. If come across an unbelievable deal, don’t forget to share the link on discord. Stay honest! 👊
Exactly what I was looking for. I'm using my old Carson Duo charger but it does not charge LIHV, only charges up to 4.25v per cell and it seems that it is no longer very accurate. Thank you Justin greetings from Portugal.
Only charges up to 4.25V? What the hell .... go over that and you're risking a fire. Lipo cells should never be charged over 4.2V per cell to stay safe. Just like you shouldn't be charging them at any higher-rate-that-pleases-you (high Amps) .... some people don't realise that lipo batteries contain dangerous chemicals and charging/discharging rules have to be strictly obeyed. Always charge lipo batteries at a rate of around 1C. Most of them don't like being charged at a rate of 2C (it will decrease the number of charging cycles so you will have to replace them sooner) ...... and anything over that .... well its either plain ignorance or irresponsibility.
I love how thorough your reviews are. It great being able to get a full rundown of various products instead of getting a short blurb. You can send the TinyHawk to me in Indiana!
