    I used to airbrush rc bodies as team Nemo. You can check the old gallery here ..
    Anyway. Don't buy cheapo airbrush stuff off Amazon. Go straight the either the iwata revolution gravity feed or the iwata eclipse gravity feed if you have money to spend.
    The revolution will do everything you need for rc work. I also did motorcycles and much more when not doing rc lidz. Hit me up of you need info. Happy to share and if you want to be a guest on my love show let me know as well. Thanks.
    Enjoy the paint pics. They are old now but still pretty unique.

    Hey @RC Girl, new to your channel. I see no one has mentioned this in the comments but you are actually charging your "LiPo" wrong, the adventure you connect to channel 1 is actually a Lipo HV or Lipo HV or Lipo HC (many names for the same thing )
    A normal 3S have 11.1v average that is normally what is printed on the battery, but if you take a look at your battery it says 11.4 on the left side and has the HV marking on the right. This means that you should charge your battery with the LiHV option in the charger. Be aware that there is two types of HV Lipo battery. One that charges to 4.3 and one that charges to 4.35. I have the same battery as you and yours is the 4.35v for each cell, if in doubt check the brand website. LiHV low end is the same as normal Lipo, 3.2 as the safest lowest, I recommend 3.3 as running to 3.2 would force you to shut of the power the millisecond it hits it or you can risk the charger refuses to charge. The absolute lowest you ever should run a Li(Po/HV) to is 3.0 everything under will damage it and possibly make it puff or catch fire, just a sidenote.
    If you don't use the LiHV charge you actually don't get the full 4300mAh and the extra kick of the higher voltage, that is the advantage of the LiHV battery type. The way you charge it right now you could just run a normal Lipo instead, it would give you the same performance :)

    Not sure if already pointed out or not. The Gens Ace battery that you first demonstrated can be perfectly charged on the LiPo setting that you demonstrated. But to get the full benifit and milli amp rating out of the HV battery you should be charging that one on the LiHV setting. :)

    Hey! Nice video! Do you think this charger would charge li-ion batteries for this truck: hs 18311? The battery it comes with is: HS 18650 7.4V 1200mAh 25C 2S Li-ion Battery Anti-Reverse Plug. The charger it came with is a super wimpy looking use charger. I got 2 of these trucks for my kids. It's only charge up to 10 amps only if 1 channel is used. It will not charge to 10 amps with both channels running simultaneously. It's better to get the higher model, the AC200W, that only cost a little more. It's 200W vs 150W.

Like with having one controller to use on multiple vehicles...its brilliant that this charger works in the same way.

    JUNK t240 duo specifically they show pictures of transformer coils and a nice clean high voltage side of the charger - meanwhile when you get the charger none of it is even there just the pads tinned over and a desert with one little 5a fuse.
    Mine worked for 10 days charged 2 lipo 3s and two 18650’s that was enough to ruin the chargers channel one side it now resets the machine each time I try to charge anything, factory reset and hard reset did nothing. After looking closely at the board I realize that feeding staff usually results in then being able to steady hands for nicer solder joints.
    The LCD and user interface is very nice it’s the rest of it that’s junk. even the fan sounds like they stole it from an old commador

    I've had the HTRC T240 about a year or so now. I absolutely love it! It's super easy to figure out and use. I've heard people complain about the fan noise, it has never bothered me. I really like the on/off switch, something many other chargers don't have so you have to unplug them when you're not using it. My only complaint when I got mine is it came with a power plug for China wall outlets. I had several desktop computer power cables laying around so that was not too big a deal. Mine didn't come with a battery capacity checker, that's a nice addition. --- My previous charger was a Venom Duo Pro that I absolutely hated. It's big. Has no on/off switch. Is extremely difficult to change settings on. And one of my channels got "stuck" in a setting for a battery I've never owned. I like Venom batteries, but the Venom Duo Pro is the worst money I never spent on RC stuff.

      One thing you didn't mention; not only can this charger be powered by a giant LiPo battery, but when you discharge your smaller batteries this charger can transfer that electricity into the giant LiPo for storage, so you don't lose that electricity by discharging them into resisters like most chargers do.

    I got the non touch screen version of this charger and quite frankly it is a brilliant bit of kit.
    I have 3 chargers altogether but I need not use the other two because this one is very quick provided the lipo cells are in good condition, a full charge of a 3s 5500mAh battery takes 40-50 minutes. Batteries with damaged cells take longer because they are resistant to being balanced, damaged cells don't want to hold charge but the charger isn't happy with that and so charges can take double the standard charge time of a battery with healthy cells.
    Brilliant, powerful little charger that charges both batteries at the same time @10amps.
    2s batteries 5500mAh charge in no time at all because there's one less cell to balance. Needless to say the more cells a battery has the longer it will take to balance charge👍

    I bought the C240 Duo. No cool touch screen and has 5 amps on each side. So, charging 2 of my 6200 milliamp batteries is a no Bueno! Unless I have tons of time on my hands to charge. It will focus the charge on side 1 and do 2 after side 1 is fully charged. I have done a little custom soldering to make other connections work.
    If you plug the red and black in wrong and go to charge the C240 will instantly warn you the connections are wrong and will refuse to charge till the wires get inserted right. It does the job, but I do want to upgrade it to something more powerful.

    AWESOME video girl. Been looking for a 2nd charger. Love the touchscreen ones. Might be what I ask Santa for Christmas or my birthday.

    I have a question, don’t no where else to get the answer. Just looking for opinions and thoughts, I’m looking into the axial wraith, and axial wraith 1.9. I do however want the one that has the most options for upgrades. Thanks for your time.

      @RCGirl  4 роки тому

      Wraith spawn vs wraith 1.9? I don't know too much about upgrades for either (my 1.9 is stock except wheels!) but the spawn has been around a lot longer so I'm assuming there are a lot more aftermarket parts available for that.

      I forgot all about this question lol. I’ve since bought the wraith and today the Capra kit!! Oh what joy it is to build this🤣. Thank you helping my decision.

    The white ones are called Tamiya connectors. They were one of the first companies that standardized connectors in the 80s. Most, if not all batteries were sold with those connectors unless specified otherwise. Kyosho used the same connector but the round and square pins were reversed so they weren't interchangeable.

    shouldnt the end voltage be 3.7? im confused on that part

    • @RCGirl
      @RCGirl  4 роки тому +1

      A fully charged lipo cell is 4.2V, but for some reason manufacturers describe their battery voltage with what is called the "nominal voltage" (considered a sort of "half-charged" voltage of 3.7). It's weird and confusing!

    I really love the cell display also. That is probably one of reasons why I purchased it. You really did a nice

    Curious if you ever use that little digital meter "battery capacity checker" ? I bought 2 of these in August and have been great, neither one of mine came with that little meter.

    Seems like a lot of newer chargers come with XT60 ports which, I think, is an improvement.

    Thank you for taking the time to do this. I had no issue walking over to the charger and getting it to work after watching you do it. It's not that I would not have read the instructions, but that I cannot see the tiny print. This saved me some watery eyes and some cuss words.
