By far much better than any other tutorial that I have seen thus far. Thank you. One question though ... I do NOT see "ALL" in my menu selections
thanks for the question, lets see... U might be in the wrong mode, try to reset the Trigger as I do in 3:34. then set your lights in different groups A, B, etc. then try and use the all function to increase all lights outputs, The All setting will allow you to increase or decrease all lights power relative to each other. so keeping you lighting ratios consistent but higher or lower. let me know if that helps.
Many thanks for your very helpful tutorial - saved me a lot of time in helping me to get to grips with how to set up the trigger.
Glad it helped!
Could u please help me configure the Godox trigger with the Godox SK400ii V
Thanks for the time and effort you spent making this video.
No problemo, I enjoy making these videos I actually started my career explaining to DP's how to operate cameras menu's and over the years bit by bit I been doing my own DP work.
Thank you! One of my triggers is set, but I forgot how to, and was able to set my 2nd trigger with this video!
Always glad to help! Good luck with your shootings!
Thanks Luis, you vid is far more helpful than the Gordox one!
Glad to be of help.
I literally just got one of these, so your timing couldn't be better haha!
Great to be of help. I'm so pleased with it even though it's a couple of years old, it's amazing how well made it is and how well it performs.
My hero. Finally understand how this thing works.
Hahah glad to help!
Really enjoyed it! I like the concise and simple way you explain the functions!
Glad to help!
I came for thoes "self explanitary" custom functions in the menu... :-(
This is the best instruction on this trigger I've found. Thanks!
Glad to help!
thank you for an easy-to-follow instructions. do you have any tutorial to make the SB800 to work with the XproN?
No, sorry
Nice video. Thanks. Have a question. If you turn the unit on and reset (as I did as well) the second button from te left I see the word 'sync' and in my case it is and stays blank. What do I neet to do? Please help me. Thanks again.
Thanks for making this video. The instructions that come with the unit are easily misinterpreted. And the size of the text/diagrams is microscopic. Writing instructional manuals is difficult anyway. But the translation from a Chinese writer to a US reader is really difficult.
Yeah, dude they don't really make those manuals user friendly. Glad to be of help.
I have the Xpro N (for Nikon) and when I press the No. 2 button (Sync), it only activates and displays the Hi-Speed Sync symbol, not Rear Curtain Sync. I thought it was probably down to the Firmware being out date as I have just bought it second hand. I have checked the latest Godox Firmware version on the device and it is Version 1.7. The latest version on the Godox website is also 1.7 so it looks like the Nikon Version Xpro doesn't do Rear Curtain Sync.
Hello, I have watched your excellent videos but I still have a problem. My controller and my AD 300 are linked and working. However, when I take a picture the picture is not showing on my camera. If I disconnect the flash from my camera and take a picture it does show on my camera so I don't think it is a camera issue. Any thoughts?
Hi interesting question. I think your issue might be with the sink speed or flash power. When you say that the photos don't come up in the camera do you mean they are black photos? Or the camera is actually not taking any photos when connected to the flash?
I was under the impression that shooting in iTTL mode and then pressing through TCM button shows you the power of the light in M mode (i.e. 1/128, 1/32, etc)
I can't find any video showing how to sync it without the receiver on a sony camera.
My unit does not show me rear curtain sync when I follow the steps you have outlined. Do you know why that might be? Thanks
Are u able to see high speed sync? Whenever u press the second button in the top? If not u might be inside the wrong menu.
@@Luiscameraman Thank you for your response, Luis. Yes, I am able to activate high speed sync whenever I press the second button but I can't get the rear curtain sync to show up.
Thank you! You got me quick started on my new setup.
Hope you have fun with the Godox gear, they sure are doing some nice stuff
What is the price ?
If i get the godox ad600bm should i get something else in order for the Xpro to work ? Thank you
Do you have any videos coming up where you use the trigger? Cool video and very helpful 😎
Hey Kelly, yes there is one coming up next week. Keep tuned!
I just bought a godox xpro trigger. but there is no sync menu on the screen like in the video. how to solve it?
Idk why it doesn't trigger my flash. Would have loved to see it connect
Hey dude, make sure your trigger and Speedlite are on the same group and channel, also remember there is a optical mode and a radio mode, make sure your also on the correct mode. Hope that helps!
noone has said about reset! lifesaver, tanks
Glad to help. This video was published so long ago and it's still helping people 🤙🏾🎊
nice it explained a lot very helpful
Glad to help
when you said to click Mode to change the setting to TTL, mine did nothing but lock it. I tried to press it twice it unlocked it, it would never go to changing the setting to TTL it remained with zoom there but I never could change it?
Thank you for the video ! Does the xpro works with canon t8i or 850D?
Yeah, it works with all canon cameras that have a hotshoe mount.
Your video says "Full menu operation" -- yet you literally pressed the button that says Menu and said everything under the menu was self-explanatory. Since I specifically was looking to understand the setting under menu that says "Sync" vs the item on the screen that says "Sync," I find this really puzzling.
Hi, I just purchased a Godox AD400 PRO and AD600 PRO + 2 XPro Flash Triggers (for Nikon and Canon as well). While the Nikon system is working flawlessly, I have a problem with the Canon R5, where the lights are not responding at all. Both lights are working fine when I'm using the remote's test, but when I'm pressing the shutter, the pictures are taken, but the lights are not flashing. What I'm doing wrong? Should I modify something in the camera menu? The Lights are both set in channel 1, group A and B, respectively. Using precisely the same settings, Nikon D850 doesn't have any issue controlling the lights... I simply can't understand what's going on... Any ideas?
Any advice on syncing the godox sk400ii and the x pro
Great video and nicely explained.
How do I get it to stay on? It seems to turn off after I shoot and I have to touch it to get it started again.
That's strange it should not turn off. The unit should be on standby while your not taking shots, and work as soon as you click the shuttle button on your camera. Perhaps your unit is defective if it's still in warranty I would probably try why to get replacement.
Can you make video for autofocus assist beam in trigger x pro plz 🙏
When trigger connected to camera..then camera symbol will appear on trigger.... then shuttur speed can't increasing ... how to solve please solve this...
Is there a way to change modeling light intensity from the trigger?
Hey bro, I don't think so.
My button number two shows no mention of sync or any way to change or get this option help!
If I have two or more flashes how can I selectively enable or disable each one independently?
Hi, You need to set them in different groups. for example, Key Light in Group A and the kicker in Group B. doing so will allow you to control the modes, and power output and have a group not fire if needed by disabling it in the trigger. Hope that helps.
@@Luiscameraman Thanks. I tried using the mode button which will work but it's not the most efficient way of doing it if it's done on a regular basis. I'm using them for real estate photography which requires constant power adjustments and selectivity of light sources. I wound up just manually turning off the trigger as that's as fast in most cases.
Saved my life
Glad to help 😊
MY LCD SCREEN LIGHT WONT CUT ON
2:49 for those who have trigger and just trying to figure the damn thing out 😬 and get to it.
Thank.. No nonsense my foot..
what about de APP mode?
HOW CAN I CONNECT THE TT520 II TO THE XPRO TRIGGER
Just put it on your hotshoe mount and u should be good to go. What model did you buy?
mine isn't turning on
I would say if you still under warranty replace the unit.
Get to it
Bro, sit back and relax. The attention span of kids these days.
Great Dublin accent
Hahahaha 🤣
It sucks did not connect
yeah ! It doesn't connect with my canon t8i
Do you have the correct model for your camera? There are different models for different camera manufacturers, Sony, canon, Nikon camera all use different protocols on their hotshoe mount. So if your trying the wrong one it won't work.
