Thank you for taking the time to research and deliver at that info. Looks like I’ll be trading in my 2016 F-150 later this year. I’m really looking forward to the new tailgate and onboard power inverter.

You briefly mentioned a work around for the auto stop/start. I am subscribed, but I cannot find the previous video you mentioned that covered that workaround. Can you give us more details on that?
Let me echo your thoughts that Ford has finally listened and hallelujah! the 302A gets intelligent access, push button start and LED head lamps... My customers here in Pennsylvania for years have been asking me why the XLT 302A didn't come with those options. Good job Mitch from our Ford store here in PA.
@@coreygillet Truly one of the most popular colors Ford sells on the F-150... not actually seeing it in person yet, the carbonized gray should be very close to it... a tint lighter or darker... I don't think they'd shoot themselves in the foot.

I never understood why they just don’t make the power seating standard in all models; too bad the XLTs are a ridiculous $50k plus now…good luck finding new customers.🥶
I vouched for ford to get flat laid back seats in their trucks for years and I was super hyped and excited to see they’re putting them in the 2021s....but only in the most expensive trims.....expensive enough to where whoever bought them doesn’t have to worry about sleeping in a parking lot or sleeping in a truck while camping when they can definitely afford a hotel room for a night. It only makes since to have them across the board and in the work trucks for the working men and women who have to sleep in them over night and what not. Hope that gets corrected but not likely.
Agree!!! Those money hungry SOBs do that on purpose so you pay a lot more money to get a higher level trim!!! When most of this crap should be standard nowadays...
You need to explain how to add paddle shifters to the XLT models. I think that’s important because if you drive in the mountain e.g. Sierra Nevada’s, it’s super handy to downshift going down many of the steep grades and upshift as needed of course.

Can you answer this... on the XLT with the cloth split bench 40/20/40... Did FORD get their head out of the butts and do two things? First, did they put a 110v outlet in the back seat for the XLT split bench; current split bench 150's don't have it. Also, air vents for the back passengers, whether through the seat or vents through the roof? Those are two HUGE things I want!

I posted this under another video about a 2021 F150 XLT. I have the base model 2021 F150 4WD XL. They skimped on many things, but my old truck engine (2009 fwD F150 XLT 247,000 mi.) blew up in June and it was 120F and almost nothing was available and the dealers wanted top price for the few they had. (Before the 2009 I had a 1997 4WD F140 that had 332,000 miles and still ran like new when i traded it in because they were selling trucks at a good price at the time and offered a decent trade in too - $28,000 - $4,000 i think...I was thinking of trying for a million in that one.) Various problems: The Pirelli Scorpion tires. One just totally broke on a smooth dirt road in an area out of cell phone range. Abruptly went flat. Didn't hit anything, not even a bump. Couldn't see anything wrong. Had a hard time getting the spare on. Couldn't get the pole in for one thing. Bought 4 new Michelin truck tires. The guy at the tire place said the Pirelli Scorpions that came with it were not made 4 a big truck like this, they were car tires. When i called Ford later the guy said people prefer car tires (!) I shld hv brought it back to Ford but i needed to do things and neither Ford dealer in town was answering their phone. I reported it to the NHTSA Complaint #11438697 29Oct2021. I should have saved them, or at least the blown one, to bring to Ford, but I didn't. I don't have a normal mirror on mine like he does. I have a part concave mirror that is dangerous especially in an emergency as the eye can't quickly adapt to the different perspectives. The 1/4 concave part is useless. The electronic compass on both the screen and the dash only work on very rare occasions. Ford service said it's a known "software problem" and Ford is working on it and an update will fix it. Baloney a software problem can be fixed overnight. This is already last years model. It has about 7,500 miles on it now and I have already HAD TO ADD TWO QUARTS OF OIL! It's not dripping oil on the ground. I don't know where the oil is going but it is a brand new engine. To add to the mystery the oil level has stabilized the last couple of weeks and now seems to he holding steady. The base level infosystem screen is not as nice as his and is unintuitive and obnoxious, same with the online only manual, as he mentioned, and the XL screen lacks many of his features and is smaller. Old sytem buttons and knobs were so much more intuitive and safer as they didn't detract attention from driving. I also have his radio changing stations/modes/suddenly starting problem. A warning came telling me something is loose in the oil system (!) like a missing oil filler cap, but now that warning is gone. I did remove the oil filler cap to add oil, but that was the day before. At two points the back up camera went black and it flashed "see dealer". The infoscreen has also gone black a couple of times. The on off thing is annoying. I need to remember to push the shut off button every time i start it to stop it from doing that. Mine has had a seat belt recall. Damn, the XLT is worth it now! Getting a lot of the creature comforts we want as options on it now. When will the online build and price go live I wonder?
I chose my 2018 XLT over an STX for several reasons back then. For one i got the center console instead of a bench seat, i got heated seats, remote start, leather wrapped steering wheel and arm rest, and the most important thing the 8" nav screen. What i dont like about my XLT is the chrome package whereas you got painted bumpers on the STX. Seems like this new generation adds several options over mine. An even bigger screen option and better dash lcd, optional painted bumpers/handles, better radio, folding arm rest, optional drivers assistance, and finally L.e.d. headlights. The halogens were worthless on my xlt and were the first thing i got rid of. Thats all pretty huge changes imo and its going to sell. Im pretty shocked by just the standard STX seems comparable to my now XLT. I have priced some of these trucks online jan 2022 and theres STX's going for 49k! You have got to be kidding me. I bought my 2018 on jan 1st of 2019 brand new for 34k. What is up with these ridiculous prices now? Probably how Mitchel affords his Ford GT.
I have a 2021 F-150 XL with the Trailer Tow Package (53A). Since it's an XL it doesn't come with the Pro Trailer Backup Assist as stated in the video. It also doesn't come with the tailgate LED since it is an XL. My question is, what did I pay $1090 for? It seems like I got the class IV trailer hitch (about $200) and the trailer brake control (about $300) and nothing else. My dealer wasn't really able to give me a solid answer. Is there an oil or transmission cooler added, sway bars, or anything else added with the 53A package that isn't listed or did I just pay $1090 for a towing package that had about $500 worth of options because my truck is an XL?
Why can’t the xl just get a rear sliding window?? Makes air flow so much better with the windows down
I was pleased to see more options made available for the XL trim level. I anticipate demand for the always popular STX to absolutely explode now.
I wish they would do push to start as an option for the stx package
Or at least go away from the flip key in my opinion

When are these set to arrive?
