    Here's an Idea!!! Add Gate Latches to the transom, and a bolt to the stem of the wheels! That way, just push the wheel down into the water until it clicks into place! Plus... Gate Latches always come with a Single hole for a ring or padlock, which means...No more having to Line Up FOUR HOLES so the pin goes through. Plus... If you're going to leave it at a Dock to get some Food or Bait, you can put Padlocks on those Gate Latches!

    Something about drilling holes into my boat doesn't feel right. Isn't there another way?

      Thank you! The inflatable boats is really fun but heavy. The tyres are the best addition to the boat. Now that I have them I couldn't go without them.

    I installed these wheels on my Tobin. Is there a trick to feeding the pin into the wholes, especially the second hole, with that little straight slider. I'm thinking maybe a small wire attached and feed the wire and pull.

    How many adults can fit comfortably in this Dinghy??
    Thank you for the explanation.

      So it's rated for 4 adults + 1 child (550 kg/1213 lbs.). I've comfortably had three 200 lb. (90 kg) adults in here. It can hold a 4th, but it starts to get a little cramped.

    So great! What size engine do you have on your Bris? Just ordered our first Dinghy ⛵️

      I've got a 6HP, but I would recommend getting something bigger if your dinghy is rated for it.

    Hi, what you do not mention is when you flip the wheels up does it catch on the tube of the boat? is this a problem im about to install mine

    • @HufflerGarage

      On this boat it doesn't catch on the tubes, but because the transom is narrow, you cannot turn the motor as far. I always just remove the wheels completely once the boat is launched.

    What brand are those wheels and is that a Bris?

    • @HufflerGarage
      @HufflerGarage  3 роки тому +2

      Those wheels are "TBVECHI" brand from Amazon, but the exact same ones are sold under several different brands. I would recommend getting a higher quality set if it in your budget. They are a little hard to get lined up and get the pins in. We are going to try a different brand on our other dinghy and see if they are any better.
      The boat is the Bris 10.8. It is awesome! We also have a 10ft red Bris. Can't beat it for the price.
