Extremely helpful, appreciate you taking the time to share information that made installation much easier, since the included SO CALLED instructions are a complete JOKE. Again, thank you sir for your efforts and time.
Just subscribed to the channel. I just bought an 11ft Saturn inflatable with a 9.9 Mercury. I'm waiting on my wheels to arrive so I can install them. Thanks for the info.. can you still fold the boat up good with the transom mounts? Also looks like you're in my old stomping grounds, the South Bay... Keep the content coming.
yesh just pull from slow at the dock getting it and bring it to the parking spot not highway use.. thats what i do with mine depending where i dock launch at
Thanks Hal, very helpful video. I have the same setup; Newport dinghy and wheels. What size outboard are you mounting on it? I am going to space my wheels as far apart as I can in order to have room for the motor.
@@teammahaldotcom4264 Thanks for the reply bro. I've installed a pair of wheels today. Altho I'm pretty sure you made a mistake. I've had kind of the same setup with instructions and it stated clearly that the rubber mat/seal has to go on the outside of the boat between the mirror and the wheels. Not on the inside it has absolutely no function there.
You're as risk averse as me, which is why you want locking nuts. However, since you're an aircraft mechanic I thought you'd use titanium screws, washers and nuts to save weight!
@@teammahaldotcom4264 I know, I was taking the mickey. I know a couple of aircraft engineers and one of them actually used titanium screws to build a kitchen cabinet! 😂
Great video! Will help with my Newport boat.
Thank you for posting!
Thank you. Your demonstration was very helpful, especially putting in the sealant.
Glad it helped
Very helpful! Finished my wheels yesterday. Can’t wait to try them out. Cheers!
Enjoy. You’ll like it

Thank you. More to come. Keep checking on and coming back.
very helpful thanks for sharing
Welcome.
Very informative. Thank you!
You’re welcome.
Cool, this is helpful, thanks. The only odd thing I see is the placement of the rubber. I would definitely put that on the outside under the braket.
Thanks. Yep that was an error on my part. No worries.
good job buddy
Great thank you!
You’re welcome
Bonjour, sur quel site je pourrais trouver ses roulettes. Merci d’avance pour votre réponse 😜
I bought it from Amazon 😊

HEY .. The rubber gasket goes on the outside between the mounting bracket and transom.
Two gaskets were included in this assembly kit. I put one between bracket and transom. The other one I just installed on the other side

Yes I agree.

Thanks. I mounted a Honda 9.9 hp. I took the wheels off after I got it in the water. It limited my movement.
@@teammahaldotcom4264 I got a Tohastu 15hp. I will probably have to remove the wheels as well. Thanks for the reply.
@@gigidigiardinis604 15hp wow, that’s powerful for that dinghy. They recommend the 9.9, however if the 15 is not over powering it, go for it.
what is diameter of wheels ? Please let me know
About 12 and half inches
But if you want to fold the boat up for storage its gonna be huge right?
Not huge, to be honest.

@@GlobalDesignHD Thanks. Good point, I'll switch mine around.
@@GlobalDesignHD Yes the thin gasket is between the bracket and the transom.

316 stainless steel bolts and nuts does well. Weight is not really a factor with this dinghy and a 10 hp engine. It get on plane easily. Nice setup.
