Mine keeps moving with the weight of the Zumo XT2. You said that is aluminium the bolts are screwing into - do i just keep tightening until i can't tighten no more? Thank You!
Question so the only purpose is to prevent quick smash and grab as the mount and windscreen can be moved with standard Allen keys that most prepared motorcyclist would be carrying additionally of quick can just rip the windscreen off and then only 2 Allen keys holding it in.
Currently have the MotoPumps locking plate with Ram setup mounted to same CamelADV brace on my ATAS. While I replaced the Ram knob with a nut and rubber cap for better security, I’ll upgrade to this clamp mount for a bit more security overall and to ditch the bulky Ram mount. 👍
To my knowledge, the pins would be the same. I would view this as a theft deterrent only. The unit adds a layer of security which illuminates the possibility for a quick swipe.

Yes that’s what I did initially. If you have the plate already…. All you need is the mount with 12mm attachment.
Very interesting stuff , but I do have a question: if me and my bike buddy by two of those, can we unlock each others zumo or is the pin unique ?

So the locking system uses the exact same unlocking pin for every unit. Seems far from secure to me.
