- Basheer Zaheer is reviewing an incredibly rare 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S (991.1) which rarely come in the Manual Transmission box, this was due to the fact that mainly most of this generation 911’s had the PDK box.

I picked up a 2014 911 C4S manual with only 23K miles on it last month, here in the States. Every time I take it out for a drive and stop for petrol, it gets compliments, and they can't believe it's a 10-year-old car. Sports chrono, Bode sound system and premium package.....thats it. Sort of what we in the States call a stripper.....not a lot of options.

Porsche with a three pedal set up is the perfect recipe for driving involvement and fun even if is at the detriment of o to 60 numbers which is bragging rights. A manual Porsche is the ultimate drivers car as you heel and toe on the twisty road with your left leg being part of the fun. PDK is excellent and the best automatic box but boring when compared to a manual. Nice content Bash!
Thank you very much mate. A lot of people chose PDK for 991 and the manual gearbox is far more rewarding. Long term they will hold values better too. Hope you are doing well

It has the standard screen that came in all 991.1. It can be upgraded to Apple CarPlay quite easily and maintain stock look etc.
