Perfect timing for watching this. I pick up my (new to me) 991.1 911 tomorrow so I'm immersing myself in all things 911 today!!! Its been a 14 year journey for me; I started with a boxster and then a cayman...I'm looking forward to this next model!!
Tip 21. hold hand in front of crest (4 inches) by bumper to open front trunk when unlocked. Tip 22. To remove dummy blank key, just turn key left to right 3 times and you can remove only if your key fob is farther than 4 feet from car. Tip 23. For launch control without Sport Chrono. Put in Sport mode and hold brake and throttle advance and it will rev to about 4,000 rpm and take foot off brake. Tip 24. To extend manually the rear spoiler to position 3 ( fully extended) go faster than 77 mph and either open sunroof or hit middle button on sunroof control to open the rear part of sunroof. Tip 25. You CAN actually operate the seat heat and the ventilation at the same time. Great job. I have a 2017 991.2 Carrera 2
are you sure about the headlights? i have had a 991.1 C2S like yours and currently a 991.1 targa 4S and both have a setting in the multi function display to set the headlights to right or left hand drive? never used it but sort of assume the setting is there for a reason
Bro, I love your videos, I follow your channel since the beginning, that’s cause I love Porsche and am a proud owner of a 991.1 S aerokit and I love it… Just here to ask one question: why don’t you smile in your vids? Why are you always serious?!
Maybe I'm mistaken, but isn't that button on the side of your seat of an aftermarket heated seat installation? In my 981 (almost identical interior) the seat heater buttons are on the centre console below the A/C-buttons. (Oh, and there's a typo @3:47 "recomemdation" 😉)
Was it TPN’s yellow 996 C4S at Friends Green Porsche??? Love the new channel mate, keep em coming for us enthusiasts that haven’t managed to become owners yet!

My wife has a one-way 73.2-mile commute with no traffic (most of the time). She drives 3 different cars: 2014 911 991 (C4S MT), 2019 MB E450 wagon, and 2020 911 992 (C2S PDK). She sets the cruise control most of the way, and when she drives the wagon, she can get home 2-3 minutes faster, and we always wonder why. Now I know ... but she won't! I'm not telling her about this video, or she will drive even faster with the 911's.
Hi, I watched your E90 Metallic Whine noise from many years ago, I’m having the same issue. Did it end up being diff? And jd so, what did you do to fix it? I’m pretty sure mine is also diff, but I’m also scared it’s the gearbox bearing, I’ll appreciate a reply! Thank you so much 😊
I tried the paddle trick when I first got my 2017 991.2, no joy. It may be different because my car is an early one, or the 991.2’s may not have this feature. Also, now I know what that yellow strap is for in the frunk.
I can't make my windows go up holding "lock" button after I left it for some service. The people who made the service don't know how to configure the key to make them go up again. Anyone can help?
Many of the features you mentioned are common to most German cars. I bet you didn't know that if you have the outside mirror adjustment set to the driver side that curb finder feature won't work. At least on my merc it is that way. I tore my console apart looking for a bad wire when mine quit working till I set it to my offside, left hand drive. Lol My e320 is a 2001 so have no screen but oil level check, on the small diagnostic screen on the binnacl, but I do have a dipstick. With the speedometer thing. Is that true for both the dial and the digital? I'll have to try that cruise control thing on this thing. Lol
Tip 24 : Dont buy a Miami Blue version because wherever you go someone will want to know what the colour is called. lol, Thanks for the tips. Brilliant cars.
A little off subject. What would be the best 911, I could get for £40-45k? I am looking for performance. My current car is a 20 month old BMW 440i M Sport coupe, fast but heavy.
On point 15, if I’m not mistaken, my 2014 991.1 C4S doesn’t shift into neutral when pulling both paddles while moving, that only works when at a stand still and foot is on the brake. I’ll try it tomorrow and feedback.
I stand corrected…pulling both paddles whilst in motion takes the car out of gear. I also tested holding unlock, which does not put the windows down for me. I wonder if that’s a user/dealer controlled setting?
Still wonder why oil change intervals in UK are 2x - 2 years 20k versus 1 year 10k? I DIY the oil yearly before putting it away for winter. Am I wasting my time? 😂
Nobody said it has 400 bhp, it has 400 hp, which is 395 bhp. Do you think there are clowns within Porsche who are allowed to make up fantasy specs sheets in a highly regulated market like the automotive industry, because 400 is such a nice, round number for marketing? Ridiculous :)

Omg number 2 blew my mind!! A space for your fuel filler cap??? 🤯
All of the cars I owned in the last ten years have that (MINI, Merc, BMW and Porsche). Maybe a German thing? (MINI is owned by BMW)

Mirror adjustment in reverse tip was new to me. Well done, thanks!
One good tip is to point your Porsche logo on your centre wheel cap to your valve, then you can easily find it.

So the button for heated seats. Is that aftermarket? I thought they were on the centre console
either way its in an incredibly stupid position.. I'd have also thought heated/cooled seat switch would be on the dash/on the central display etc
Heated seats are on the centre console of my 991 and I have the basic electric seats.

Can you do a video on the battery charger through the 12v plugs?
395BHP = 400PS which is where some people who have provided the specs will have read the 400 number from and thought it must be bhp
Exactly! And like most Porsches , the numbers are sandbagged. Meaning that when you dyno a Porsche you’ll read a bigger power number.
@@st33fie Porsche being a German company use metric horsepower (PS) rather than BHP - it's not porsche being sneaky, they make sure they state the units they're using
The difference between Metric HP and International HP is 1.0139. 400 / 1.0139 = 394.5.

I don't see how Coast mode saves fuel. When the engine is not connected to the wheels, you need fuel to keep it turning over at idle.
