With regards to the case size, the watch is MEANT to wear smaller and it's not even really that small anyway, being 39mm in diameter and over 47mm lug to lug. I love the fact that my '58 has no date. It just makes the dial so much cleaner, it's more faithful to the original watch and if I need the date, I have my phone. My own personal issue with the watch, is the bracelet and clasp. Firstly, the clasp is a little long for small wrists and the link which attaches to the 6 o'clock side, doesn't fully articulate, which is really annoying. Secondly, the lack of a quick adjust feature is also irritating and you can't get half links! Despite this, I still love it. A lot!

Oh, Jenni, thank you very much for giving us this so great content and as some people have said, I'm pretty happy to see a girl in the watch community giving its actual opinions and reviews, so thank you very much and happy watchmaking!
I love your watch videos. Your expert opinion and not just "hype" which is where I feel the Black Bay is going. If you watch UA-cam videos on the Black Bay you would think someone struck actual gold in the Earth.

Honestly I would love to see more ladies watches. I’m a bit board with the same videos covering the same watches over and over again. I think ladies watches would be a nice change of pace and would be a great help for me as I’m trying to get my wife into this hobby.
Tony Anguiano thats where the demographic is at. Though i agree a change in watches would be nice, something a little more obscure. Just one more watch does this nicely.
I have the 58 with the red bezel. While I don't dive, I do salt water fly fish. I love the weight on my off hand. Thus far have not had concerns with the bezel construction and it has numerous hours at work wading in salt water. Your commentary on the quick adjust is on point. My hands are in and out of water, the change in fit can be noticeable at times.
I’d love to see some German watches. Possibly the new salmon dial a. lange & söhne even though it’s not even obtainable. Would also move to see the IWC portofino as it has gotten little to no UA-cam coverage at all and that I am on the verge of buying one
Herzliche Wilkommen! Your use of English idioms is perfect, at first it had me confused as to your nationality, but my mother was from Stuttgart, so that gave it away. Your vids are amazingly refreshing and insightful. Congrats.
It’s most likely the closest competitor, a thing many reviewers fail to notice as they usually mention the 300M, which is a totally different watch. But the 300 mc-a is a lot bigger and thicker and not recommended for smaller wrists.
@@Akmal_Alif Reality is, people with wimpy wrists tend to choose a too big watch. Unless you look like the Rock Johnson or Arnold in his best years, you better go with a well proportioned watch.
@@pauls_guitartrip That's your opinion though. A man will choose a nice watch that is meant to feel it and this is not as bulky as you think. The all-titanium further solidifies that and you don't feel like it's even there. Have you even tried it on?

there are a few channels that do. Like Watchfinder. Iv actually started to look at those watches awhole lot differently now and with better appreciation
On the topic of faux rivets, a watch is a piece of jewellery. If it matches the style and theme, I'm all for it looking good. On the black gilt, the whole design is just so good on my eyes, the reason why I made it my first luxury watch.
I noticed your first Instagram post was of a Casio F-91w. I'd love to see you do a video about a budget watch icon, like that watch or something similar.
I’d like to see your opinions on the JLC Polaris collection, “diver” line from Jaeger lecoultre since it seems you know your diver watches haha, and some spotlights on Nomos or Junghans would be nice too!
@@powerplay.556 Who gives a shit about that. It's enough to keep wound when you're wearing it, and it's time only, or date and time, so it's not hard to set when it stops
@@rousseau327 We don't all own one watch. The model has been a commercial disaster and the lack of power reserve is one of the main reasons for that. My Tudor Pelagos and Omego Planet Ocean both absolutely shit on the Polaris in every way. 20 bar with push in crowns? lol. The supposed beautiful movement can't be seen or heard when wound. The rubber strap is its best feature. I bought a JLC Master Compressor new in '09, kept it for 7 years but was at Richemont more than on my wrist. They refunded me in full for a reason.
@@powerplay.556 I agree that the Polaris hasn't been the most successful, but we're talking about power reserve here, no? 38 hour power reserve is enough for you to wear another watch for a day, and come back to it, and if the power reserve runs out, the lack of complications on the watch means it's easy to set. The only reason why 38 hour power reserve is a "problem" is because watches commonly have more nowadays. People used to own watches with this amount of reserve within a large collection without a problem.
Hi Jenni, Hello from Sydney. Excellent review and loved the detailed & unbiased explanation. Even though your german, and already working with your partner, am glad you started this english channel. I have been to watches since ages and been following some big scale channels but this is the first time somebody reviewed it inside out! The points system, the written explanation is a great idea and gives insight to someone who is looking to spend his/her hard owned $ on a luxury timepiece. The best thing i loved about your video is that your way of communication is more soothing and is more on connecting with the audience personally instead of just talking purely about watches. And to answer your question, to me all 5 points must tick before i get my money on any watch. What i would like to see - get on with the entry and mid level watch brands as well. for e.g. a seiko prospex, hamiltons, stowa, laco, damasko.... apart from swiss, german watch making has its own history specifically with WWI&II. Many of english collectors are not aware of it. i wish to get some light on the same.... keep up the good work.. cheers!
I don't hate them, and, occasionally find them useful, but, I hate having to flip through them every time I put on a watch that I haven't worn in weeks (which happens quite a bit, lately; gotta do some selling). I absolutely loathe having to do that with a watch that has both a day AND date complication. Plus, they look cleaner without such things and they seem to make the stem more prone to mishaps.
I can see y u dont like them but on some watches it doesnt cut off the indices, and i always prefer the date window on those. Its just another complication, cant go wrong with that
I'm going with the 58 fabric strap, because I like fabric, but will probably swap it out for a NATO. I love the enthusiasm you show in your videos, very infectious. Happy New Year.
Love your channel. It's great to see a woman's perspective on this great hobby. While the top tier watch brands are great as a Grail watch, to be honest, I'd rather hear about the attainable watches. For example, I just picked up a Christopher Ward GMT that literally blows away Tudor black bay in every respect. Its been a long time since I have had a watch that halted my entire rotation...even when I've picked up an Oris save the reef III and a Mechanichi Veneziane GMT at the same time, both are screaming for wrist time but my CW has won the battle for now.
Watch and things that’s would be very intriguing. I like Damasko and Junghans, I also own a Rolex and an Omega. Very different all around but the design may be seen different based on nationality curiously.
Men who lack the confidence? It has nothing to do with confidence. It's all about aesthetics. It just looks awful. You assume that men wearing small watches would think it's feminine and therefore attack their masculinity. That's where you are wrong. It has nothing to do with that. If you have smaller wrists you can wear smaller watches you got bigger wrists you can wear bigger watches. It's all about the proportions. Stop being toxic dude!
Good morning Jenni from your review way back in February i ordered the BB58 i picked it up yesterday wed, 28 th Oct , that was approximately a nine month wait 😭 totally worth the wait its a beautiful watch . Regards .
I recently found your channel and was watching one of your videos with my daughter. She asked why you kept doing the "German three" with your hand. I told her that you must be from Germany. Glad to know that I was right and you didn't turn out to be from Canada or something. Lol! I'd like to see you review some vintage pieces. Keep up the great work! You're making my daughter realize that collecting watches isn't just a nerdy hobby for dudes! ✌️
I love this watch. One day I will own it. I do love a date or day/date window and have other watches with this but I also love how clean a watch dial can look without these windows. So for me it’s about if the watch suits the day/date windows or not and for me this one suits the cleaner look!
Very professional and in-depth knowledge of watches which other watch channels do not possess to me you come across as a jeweler who has a great insight as what a perspective customer might want. Love the watch roll very classey! Keep up the good work.
Great video on the 58! How about a video to fill up the watch roll? 3 watches to travel with or to start a collection? Maybe a sport watch, dress watch, and everyday watch.
Oh dear Jenni, my wallet is not happy with me as it's lost more weight (It didn't gain any over Christmas) but I'm very pleased with my BB58 in black. Your review was spot on. The fake rivets on the bracelet was initially a concern but to be honest on the wrist I do not notice them any more. The bubble or box sapphire crystal shape really reflects a design from long ago. To me Tudor have created almost the best modern retro watch, the blend of off white luminous hands and markers with the gold tone hands and gold tone printing on the dial is exactly the right balance. It even fits on the wrist and under s shirt cuff without a problem. The cherry on the top of the cake is that they made it without a date and cyclopes as it keeps the symmetry of the face. A non magnified date at the six position may have had my wallet worried e little more.

I’d like to see a Tudor pelagos, north flag or a grand seiko SBGJ211.
We caught on to the three-finger count because of Tarantino's Inglorious Basterds, of course! And I'd love to see some Nomos on this channel--especially some of their sports line from last Basel. Cheers!
Agreed, a review of the Nomos Tangente Neomatik Sport watches from last year would be great.
I thought of the movie as well. Too funny.
What I would like to see next? Simple, I’d like to see more videos like this; a critical take on a watch. I don’t watch YT for a sales pitch, I watch it for actual reviews. Best of luck in this, you’re doing very well.
I would love to see you review the Omega Aqua Terra!
FYI: Love the content you've been providing! Even though the channel is very young I see a lot of potential and this is quickly becoming my favorite watch-related channel on youtube!
Oskar Eriksson hahah get a real watch on here not these 3rd tier premier wannabees
@Scott F , sound like a watch snob don’t you think?
Hector Orozco You sound like the sort of person that would see a guy nice car and say he is compensating for something, you seem like the kind of guy that would say someone’s been flash just because I’ve got a nice suit, and you also seem like the sort of guy if they see a man or woman with a good body you would criticise them that they spend all of the time in the gym... The only people that call other people snobs all those at the lower end of the food chain
Scott F If you don’t like be called a snob don’t be one. You can say what you want and make excuses. You seem like the kind of weakling that talks shit on the internet but NEVER in person. You seem like the type of guy who hears a thud in the house and wakes the wife to go check it out! You think the watch makes the man. Wrong.
@Scott F , the “lower end of the food chain” remark just proves what I said about you. If you let people keep talking they usually hang themselves. Like you just did you arrogant prick.
I’d love to see some reviews of Grand Seiko. I think their spring drive technology is an incredible feat of watchmaking and I’d love to own a chronograph with it to really experience that perfect smooth sweep seconds hand.
I just bought this BB two days ago. Love it so much!I have 6.25' wrist size. I like vintage style, and compare with Rado Captain Cook limited edition, finally, I made decision to have BB. This is my gift from my wife and would me my 19 th Anniversary gift. And yet this is my first Luxury watch!
I tried BB at a dealer with leather version, but I liked steel band than leather. No shop got real product to try on but 41mm. Luckly, I waited one and half months to have it. I watched lots of different UA-cam to preview and comment for my reference. Until the day I received the watch and also saw your Preview on BB, I won't regret on my choice. Your preview provide the best!
Your next preview I like to view is about Blancpain fifth fathoms basic version(Diving version) See you!Cheers!
How much did you pay for it ?
It's refreshing to see some "gender diversity" in the UA-cam watch community. Really enjoyed this video, and look forward to seeing more. I'd be interested in your take on NOMOS.
Amen! Finally!
Yes, it's nice seeing a pretty WOMAN doing watch reviews.
No one is stopping them
Personaly I dont care about gender. As long as I enjoy the content. Isnt that just why you watch these kind of vids?
@@johnandmorehb3422 I don't care about gender either, but this hobby seems to be dominated by men, and I just like to see that there are women who appreciate it as well.
If the bezel insert were more scratch resistant, this would top my list of watches to get. The whole aesthetic appeals to me, but I can be a little rough with my watches. I need robustness. If it also had a date window above the 6 like you mentioned, I’d start allocating funds right this moment. In the meantime, I’m keeping a very close eye on this line. Great video like always. Keep up the good work!
Same here. Aluminum bezel inserts don’t age well and it’s a big turnoff for me.
the Black bay 58 is a good size for the majority of people. I have a 216 mm wrist and always need to buy more links from the AD, I love a date on a watch and the Tudor hydronaut ref 89190 that I will be picking up has the cyclops which helps me to see the date. I like a watch to have a date function and good lume , so I can see the time at night. Love your videos , keep them coming the world is yours for the taking.

Would love to see a video about the Cartier Santos de Cartier
I am on a waiting list for the black 58
Honestly I would love to see more ladies watches. I’m a bit board with the same videos covering the same watches over and over again. I think ladies watches would be a nice change of pace and would be a great help for me as I’m trying to get my wife into this hobby.
Tony Anguiano thats where the demographic is at. Though i agree a change in watches would be nice, something a little more obscure. Just one more watch does this nicely.
Simp
Board? As in plank? 😂🤦🏻♂️
I'd like to see a review on women-specific watches.
I'm a little late, but going to buy this watch this weekend. Thank you for posting such a high quality, detailed video! This is great
Did you get it ?
Would like to see a Jaeger LeCoultre reverso or a Cartier Tank! Rectangular watches need more love🙌
I’d like to see your favorite “one-watch” collection!
I fully agree with you regarding the date. When wearing the only watch in my collection that doesn't have a date complication, I always miss it.
wait till you have a couple more watches, then you will hate to have it.But if you're gonna stick with 1 watch only, I hear ya.
the deal breaker for me is that aluminium bezel and for an everyday watch a date window would be nice
I don't think it's needed. The Submariner doesn't have a date window.
Jenni, I would like to see a presentation on the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra.
topgun I’ll second that - I’m thinking it might be the OMEGA for me. Great video.
I would like to see a video with the most beautiful dial ever: the Grand Seiko SBGH269
Congrats.
I would like to see some content on budget friendly homage alternatives.
Review of the Omega Aqua Terra or Tudor Pelagos. :D
Great review :)
Keep it up, you are a trully refreshing presence in the UA-cam watch community!
Men’s watches that women could also wear! A collection of watches that you believe could be unisex
Brandon Soo most watches are unisex imo. It's just if a woman like a bigger watch, I see more women with bigger face watches these days.
I would like to see a list of your favorite German watches!
Good review. Nice to see critical observations and not Influencers that dare not say anything that the Manufacturer might get upset about.
I prefer the Omega Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial 👌🏻
It’s most likely the closest competitor, a thing many reviewers fail to notice as they usually mention the 300M, which is a totally different watch. But the 300 mc-a is a lot bigger and thicker and not recommended for smaller wrists.
I'd like to see some love for the Pelagos as it solves all of the 5 things that's lacking with the BB58
much too chunky n bulky. looks terrible in my opinion.
@@pauls_guitartrip on a wimpy wrist, yes
@@Akmal_Alif Reality is, people with wimpy wrists tend to choose a too big watch. Unless you look like the Rock Johnson or Arnold in his best years, you better go with a well proportioned watch.
@@pauls_guitartrip That's your opinion though. A man will choose a nice watch that is meant to feel it and this is not as bulky as you think. The all-titanium further solidifies that and you don't feel like it's even there. Have you even tried it on?
I love the no-date general on every model I consider buying. I have a number of watches and it's just easier to put it on, set the tone and go. Great video, great content made even better by your charming personality. Well done lass.
Nobody does Ulysse Nardin. Would be interesting to see one of their watches reviewed
there are a few channels that do. Like Watchfinder. Iv actually started to look at those watches awhole lot differently now and with better appreciation
Great review! Would love to see your thoughts on Breitling, a brand who seems to have slipped behind Omega and Rolex.
38 hour power reserve on the Polaris. LOL
@@powerplay.556 Who gives a shit about that. It's enough to keep wound when you're wearing it, and it's time only, or date and time, so it's not hard to set when it stops
JLC imho just isn‘t the right choice if you want sporty/diver watches.
Many of english collectors are not aware of it. i wish to get some light on the same....
keep up the good work.. cheers!
More about Jaeger and Vacheron
A Rivew about Reverso and Vacheron fifty six
God I’m so glad there’s no date window. There’s nothing I hate more
Finally someone thinks just like me
I hate the date window too!
because its also unnecessary. I don't need a watch to know which date we have.
There's just something so much more aesthetic about the old rose logo and 'smile' of the eta version IMO
Whenever I see a video that doesn't use imperial units, I click like.
Would love to see your suggestion or suggestions for a "do everything" sub $3000 watch.
Good luck with the channel!
Timex Ironman
A German take on German watches vs Swiss watches would be cool.
Watch and things that’s would be very intriguing. I like Damasko and Junghans, I also own a Rolex and an Omega. Very different all around but the design may be seen different based on nationality curiously.
Seriously, I truly love your reviews ! So descriptive and informative. Thank you. 🙏
I did not know the rivets are just for the looks, so lame
Now i will consider buying the version which comes on the leather strap.
Almost no such thing as a watch that is too small. Only men who lack the confidence to own the look.
fyhfb ass i think there can be a watch too small. For me around 34 mill is where i draw the line. Though anything over 40 is a bit iffy for me.
Everyone says 36mm is 'too small for my wrist' until it's a Rolex.
Literally just bought this yesterday. It’s the perfect watch. Can’t wait for the next 58 to come out - my moneys on a GMT 58...
Another Tudor-bashing video.
For the price point, the BB58 is unmatched, with the Rolex name behind it.
Good morning Jenni from your review way back in February i ordered the BB58 i picked it up yesterday wed, 28 th Oct , that was approximately a nine month wait 😭 totally worth the wait its a beautiful watch .
Regards .
This is my favourite watch review channel! Thanks for the high quality video!
love how you place the watch on smaller wrists!! really helpful for small wrist buyers like me
I bought my wife a BB58 for Christmas. I have no idea if she'll like it or not but your video helped me. Thanks!
I never considered a Tudor until I saw your video. I think its beautiful. Thanks.
Greetings from Australia! Very refreshing to see a female youtuber doing watch reviews! Please keep up your good work, absolutely enjoy your videos!
Great video on the 58! How about a video to fill up the watch roll? 3 watches to travel with or to start a collection? Maybe a sport watch, dress watch, and everyday watch.
Gotta love a woman that knows how talk about watches! Great job!
Well done. Thanks!
As far as what to see next, Doxa, Squale, Spinnaker... the possibilities are endless.
Absolutely love the mat black Rose gold. So classy.
I've been looking at the BB58 like everyday, thank you for your honest opinion!
It’s very refreshing to have a pretty lady doing watch reviews. Awesome channel. Hope to see more Audemars Piguet watch review coz I’m a big fan of that brands. Other brands like Bell & Ross, Breitling, Franck Muller & Zenith to name a few. Lastly, keep up the good work!
You're lovely, knowledgeable and not biased.
Please, more Seiko..
Hi, it's been refreshing listening to a woman's perspective. I just just subscribed and look forward to going back and reviewing your older stuff and more importantly seeing where you go from here.
I have a BB 42mm, at first it did seem a little chunky in the width, but to be honest after a couple of months of wearing it I don’t notice it’s chunkyness, in fact I love it because of its proportions, I am quite slim in build but I do have a 7 1/2” wrist tho.
Keep up the good work .
Hello Jenni. I am watching your channel and several others watch related channels on UA-cam. Really enjoy your reviews and comments for clarity, positive vibe, and variety. I do have several watches in my "collection": Rolex Sub Date, Omega Seamaster Diver 300 Professional, Ulysse Nardin Dual Time, Breitling Superocean Auto 42, Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec Black Dial, Longines Master Collection Moonphase, Longines Dolce Vita SS Men, Tudor Royal w/blue dial.g Superocean Automatic
I would like you to review more German watchmakers' creations. This will help educate more watch enthusiasts in N. America.
Thanks and keep excellent work!
