5 Things You MUST Know BEFORE Buying A Tudor Black Bay 58! | Jenni Elle

- I'm reviewing the Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight and tell you about the top 5 things you should be aware of before buying this watch!
Follow me on IG: bit.ly/36QAVhs
1) The case size
With the Black Bay Fifty-Eight Tudor has introduced a classic diver with a 39mm diameter, a height of 11,9mm and a lug to lug width of 47,5mm, making the 58 the actual homage to the 7924 Oyster Prince Submariner!
This makes the Fifty-eight a perfect watch for smaller wrists, especially within the 150 to 180mm range BUT everyone with bigger wrists should definitely try on the watch in person as this could be the first diver that might look too small for you!
2) The durability
When looking at the BB58, we can see a beautiful, anodized matte black bezel, with a 60 minute warm-toned, rosegold graduation printed on it. On top sits a little pearl filled with superluminova on a bright red triangle for better legibility.
The grooves on the bezel are rather small making it feel a bit slippery when trying to turn it. So To twist the bezel I recommend pushing down with both fingers and then turning it instead of trying to grip its sides. I like that they added some type of locking mechanism at the 12 / 0 minute mark and also a 60-clicks- turning instead of the 120 we know from a lot of other divers which makes it easier to lock it into the standard position.
As I said, the bezel is anodized which means that it has to be made from aluminium in order to be anodized. And this is where you have to be a bit more careful compared to the often used ceramic bezels in modern divers: This bezel is way more prone to scratches. Those of you who prefer the ‘brand new’ look on their watches should either take very good care of their BB58 when wearing it or consider a different watch with a more robust material.
3) The 'incomplete' dial
Tudor continued its rosegold theme from the bezel onto the dial and gave us an overall very warm looking watch with the 58. The dial itself is matte black and when you look close enough, you can see that it is very finely grained.
The chapter ring imprinting as well as the hour markers and the lettering on the dial have the same exact rose gold color.
The seconds, minutes and hour hand are not made from solid gold (like for example in rolex watches) but are plated - depending on the light, the hands tend to look a little more yellow gold than the rest of the watch.
But Even though Tudor did absolutely amazing with all their dial parts, they missed a big opportunity in my opinion: Putting in a date!
3) The bracelet issue
First of all, you can get the BB58 in 3 different variations: With a full steel bracelet, with a leather strap or with a fabric strap.
The steel bracelet on the BB58 has a nice satin finish to it, consisting of 3 links with a little grove on the side of the outer links. On each link you find two little rivets attached to it - and I say attached because they are not actual holding anything together. Those rivets are just there for design purposes. Of course this is a matter of personal perference, but I have to admit that I find the whole idea of the rivets rather silly as they do not really serve a purpose other than making the watch look a bit rougher.
So in case you plan on buying the full steel version of the BB58, make sure to look at the bracelet in person to see if you like the design of it!
Additionally you should also consider the clasp on the BB58. It feels well made, and the satin finish looks very nice with the round edges of the clasp BUT there is one thing I am disappointed by. Even though the folding steel clasp has a safety catch there is no quick adjustment.
5) Not a crown
When was the last time you wanted something very specific but it was either too expensive, not available or you thought you wanted it but it was really not actually 100% what YOU wanted!? All of what I just said for some applies to the BlackBay58 and I am going to tell you why:
First of all, many see the BB58 as a good alternative to the more expensive and right now pretty much unavailable Rolex Submariner. Even though the BB58 and the Sub might seem quite similar on the first look but when you look at both for more than 5 seconds you can clearly tell that these two divers are completely different. The Sub is extremely cool toned with its stark contrast between the silver, white and black colors compared to the 58, the case is chunkier and the bezel with its edge is more prominent.
The two differ also in terms of their perception and the overall - lets say - character of the watch. Because lets be real: Nowadays wearing a Sub isn’t always perceived in a good way. The Sub has become sort of the embodiment of flex culture in terms of watches but the BlackBay 58 appears to be the antidote to it. An equally high- quality diver with amazing proportions without all the negative connotations that come with the Rolex.
Which of the 5 points do you consider the most important? I think the case size would be my biggest deal breaker 🙌🏻
Jenni Elle lack of date.
Jenni Elle for me personally the case size is too small for me, nothing smaller than a 41.
Love your channel where do I put my address just in case I win
"Not a crown" for me :( I think it's a really cool watch but I have a no-date Sub and I feel no urge to get one.
With regards to the case size, the watch is MEANT to wear smaller and it's not even really that small anyway, being 39mm in diameter and over 47mm lug to lug.
I love the fact that my '58 has no date. It just makes the dial so much cleaner, it's more faithful to the original watch and if I need the date, I have my phone.
My own personal issue with the watch, is the bracelet and clasp. Firstly, the clasp is a little long for small wrists and the link which attaches to the 6 o'clock side, doesn't fully articulate, which is really annoying. Secondly, the lack of a quick adjust feature is also irritating and you can't get half links!
Despite this, I still love it. A lot!
you should work with Archieluxury, hes a real gentleman and a watch guru
When a watch have a date window, reviewers say “we don’t need a date window for a cleaner dial”... When a watch is no date, reviewers say “a date would be useful” -__-
Totally. Give me the date all day. If I'm going to sacrifice all the features that a $10 digital watch can do for a fancy look at me watch I at least want to be able to look at the date! All these people talking about Aesthetics of the dial and stuff. Get over it. Watch hobbyist are such a funny group, I'm one of them. We talked about all these features and about the movement and all this but people could transplant a $50 Chinese movement into the Rolex of 99% of Rolex owners and they would have no idea. Everybody talks about dive watch this dive watch that. Modern divers don't use dive watches so who cares about the depth and all these other features like helium Escape valve. My opinion, I watch better have a heck of a lot of charm in order to justify $5,000 or whatever. Just a name brand won't do it for me. So, the more obscure, the more odd, the more interesting the better in the luxury watch world, I think. I do like this Tudor BB 58.
@@john-carlosynostroza It's all preference for me. If it has the date, that's great, but the trade off is the design doesn't look as good as a no date. It's more practical, but really, how practical is a luxury watch anyways?
I think they should just offer both. Why should someone have to settle
john-carlos ynostroza you re right. Its too funny how some people describe smallest details.
nobody ever says the date would be useful
I’m a female and want this exact BB so bad 😭 my dad has one as well. So matching with my dad would be perfect ♥️
that's kinda cute not gonna lie
@@hersheysquirt6526 What a username
Oh, Jenni, thank you very much for giving us this so great content and as some people have said, I'm pretty happy to see a girl in the watch community giving its actual opinions and reviews, so thank you very much and happy watchmaking!
Thanks Jenni, you are a breath of fresh air in the midst of this multitude of watch channels. Great review please carry on this way
Already one of the best watch channels out! I’d love to see you review the speedmaster professional. Maybe a hesalite vs sapphire comparison?
As you’re from Germany I’d love to see a guide to German watches from the cheaper to the high end. What makes them different etc.
Yeah whould be nice I feel though alot of watch brands out side of Switzerland dont get as much love like nomos , junghans and glashutte .
I would love this in German with Eng subtitles ;-)
Sinn for the win.
Also LACO and HANHART
The Sinn 356 Flieger II really needs some UA-cam love.
Thank you Jenni for great watch reviews focusing on things to consider without any Judgement. You manage to highlight details of possible importance that could easily be missed out. Thank you and keep up🙏🏻. Looking forward to more reviews from you.
I love this watch and have watched just about every video on it. Yours has to be one of the most balanced and raises a lot of important points that others do not - thank you!
Great video! Thank you for telling us about yourself. I've got four daughters and they all love watches. It's exciting to find other women who share that love. Best wishes to you and your partner. We'll be watching your watch journey all along the way!
I just bought this BB two days ago. Love it so much!I have 6.27’ wrist size. I like vintage style, and compare with Rado Captain Cook limited edition, finally, I made decision to have BB.
I tried BB at a dealer with leather version, but I liked steel band than leather. No shop got real product to try on but 41mm. Luckly, I waited one and half months to have it. I watched lots of different UA-cam to preview and comment for my reference. Until the day I received the watch and also saw your Preview on BB, I won't regret on my choice. Your preview provide the best!
Your next preview I like to view is about Blancpain fifth fathoms basic version(Diving version) Thank you!
I hate date! Not having for me is a win! It keeps everything symmetrical
I’m the same although quite like having it centred at/around 6
Hate a 4 o’clock date though... it would be like permanently having the bezel off by 1-2 clicks 😂
@@manuel_winde agree with the 4 o clock date. Just feels wrong. Same for 6 o clock. It’s put me off a few aqua terras recently. It’s 3 or nothing for me
Your video is good, but you are talking a bit too fast. In Point No 2 regarding durability, you have not said anything about the quality of the movement. Durability means quality. This watch looks awesome, but for the price atleast it should have a date window, if not day/date. I would love if you did a review on Favre-Leuba watches which the the second oldest watch company(1737),
the first one being Blancpain (1735).On the whole a good video. Keep going.
I sort of agree I do like the simplicity of no date
@@kswaminathan5439 Because she is not technically minded. She missed the most important aspect.
What an informative video! Not only did you tell us what we already knew (dimensions and such), but you also gave your own interesting opinions. Loved the video and looking forward to more!
I’m a father of 2 wonderful daughters and really like what you are doing. Thanks for being a great example for women getting into the hobby.
In a future video it would be nice to see your collection and hear the stories behind your watches.
Thank you!
I’d love to see a video on your personal collection over the years, and we’d love to hear about your grail watches!
I have a 7.5 inch wrist and this watch fits perfectly, the narrower width slides under a shirt nicely. This is my favourite watch in my collection and I don’t miss the date window at all. Thank you for your video.
Seriously, I truly love your reviews ! So descriptive and informative. Thank you. 🙏
"The culprit of the bracelet debate." - you're so good! And your lighting is impeccable!
Very nice review. Next review I would love to see AnOrdain model 1 and also the Tudor Pelagos (with a comparison to the Tudor BB 58)
Suggestion : cover some more German brands like damasko, stowa & sinn.
Cheers.
Congratulations on 10000, you absolutely earned that. Of all the watch youtubers I'm subscribed to, you seem to have done the most research, and have the most knowledgeable. So I think it would be cool if you discussed the brands and movements of the watches more in depth some time! (for instance, what makes a movement special, in house vs. ETA, etc.)
This is my favourite watch review channel! Thanks for the high quality video!
Horology House is gone but now we have Elle.
Bless
Plot twist: Elle IS Horology House.
Well, then let's hope that she doesn't get caught selling fake Rolexs....again lol
Well he’s back...🤪🍺
Nice write up. I have a BB58 and I love it and I love the "rivets" too. I had the 42mm on for a very short time and it is a big clunker for me. The 39mm is perfect. I know Steinhart watches aren't "premium" watches but I think they are way under valued so maybe think about reviewing them. Peace out.
Jenni continues to be one of the most likeable, simpatico watch reviewers on youtube :) Thanks for the great content and keep it up!
This is my new favourite watch channel, really good content.
Most things mentioned in this video are actually a "+" for me, particularly the "no date" bit. I wear my divers only on week-ends or evenings, so I don't need the date complication and love the symetry without it. About the bracelet clasp, it has micro-adjustments like most diver bracelets I think? Those are used precisely for the issue you mention of expanding wrists. It's either that or a gliding clasp, which is easier to micro-size, but much chunkier. I personally like my clasps to be as small as possible (but with 3-4 micro-adjusts) so that it sits more comfortably on tables etc when I'm sitting down
I would love to see you review the Omega Aqua Terra!
FYI: Love the content you've been providing! Even though the channel is very young I see a lot of potential and this is quickly becoming my favorite watch-related channel on youtube!
Oskar Eriksson hahah get a real watch on here not these 3rd tier premier wannabees
@Scott F , sound like a watch snob don’t you think?
Hector Orozco You sound like the sort of person that would see a guy nice car and say he is compensating for something, you seem like the kind of guy that would say someone’s been flash just because I’ve got a nice suit, and you also seem like the sort of guy if they see a man or woman with a good body you would criticise them that they spend all of the time in the gym... The only people that call other people snobs all those at the lower end of the food chain
Scott F If you don’t like be called a snob don’t be one. You can say what you want and make excuses. You seem like the kind of weakling that talks shit on the internet but NEVER in person. You seem like the type of guy who hears a thud in the house and wakes the wife to go check it out! You think the watch makes the man. Wrong.
@Scott F , the “lower end of the food chain” remark just proves what I said about you. If you let people keep talking they usually hang themselves. Like you just did you arrogant prick.
By far the BEST review on the 58 I've seen, and I've seen almost all of them! Great work Jenni Elle, and watch out Hodinkee
You are so enthusiastic, joyful and unpretentious!! Such great energy along with critical professionalism. I'm so glad to have run into your work! I would love a video on your prognostications about watch trends on the horizon. What are they design cues that are coming more into play? Cheers from Florida!
I would love to see some high quality women watches options, especially from a young female watch-enthusiast.
My girlfriend likes watches and we look at watches together, but I feel that there's a very limited amount of watches which are suitable for women, especially at a decent price point.
Love your content, keep it up!
Review of the Omega Aqua Terra or Tudor Pelagos. :D
Great review :)
Thank you so much for your videos . They are filled with good advice. Whenever I want to buy a new watch, I log on to your channel to know more about what my heart has chosen. And then, reality strikes. You have already saved me thousands of dollars. Thanks to you and your partner.
Great vids, Jenni! I'd love to see your picks for the most underrated models from popular brands next. Or, a video about your favourite chronographs!
I would like to see some content on budget friendly homage alternatives.
Would like to see a Jaeger LeCoultre reverso or a Cartier Tank! Rectangular watches need more love🙌
Really interesting video, thanks for your perspective. As a watch guy, one of the most useful and practical spots I like to see are comparisons between similar models. Not everyone can all afford the high-end pieces, so some alternatives are always appreciated. Perhaps one high-end, one mid-range and one micro?
Very professional and in-depth knowledge of watches which other watch channels do not possess to me you come across as a jeweler who has a great insight as what a perspective customer might want. Love the watch roll very classey! Keep up the good work.
I wish the Black Bay GMT had these dimensions.
Atif Chaudhry I wish the Pelagos had these dimensions.
@@arghjayem That would be amazing!
Totally agree
100% this. I would be running out to buy a BB-58-GMT in a heartbeat.
Yeah, I have the BB-GMT and I'm thinking on flipping it because of the sickness,
There is something about listening to a woman give watch reviews, especially one with an accent.
I enjoy the quality of your videos and I would love to see the Grand Seiko GMT SBGM221.
I would love to get a true sense of that off white dial color.
Love your channel! I think the non-chunky case size makes the BB58 a winner over the regular black bay which sits uncomfortably even on a large wrist.
I've been looking at the BB58 like everyday, thank you for your honest opinion!
Great video!
I would love to see a review of a watch from a German watch brand like Nomos (Club 36), Glashütte Original (PanoMaticLunar) or Junghans (Max Bill Chronoscope)
Greetings from Sweden!
I’d love to see some reviews of Grand Seiko. I think their spring drive technology is an incredible feat of watchmaking and I’d love to own a chronograph with it to really experience that perfect smooth sweep seconds hand.
Keep it up, you are a trully refreshing presence in the UA-cam watch community!
Really informative and well-balanced review. The BB58 and the VC Overseas 4500V are on my personal list of potential next timepiece purchases so I'd love to see a review of the Overseas soon.
If the bezel insert were more scratch resistant, this would top my list of watches to get. The whole aesthetic appeals to me, but I can be a little rough with my watches. I need robustness. If it also had a date window above the 6 like you mentioned, I’d start allocating funds right this moment. In the meantime, I’m keeping a very close eye on this line. Great video like always. Keep up the good work!
Same here. Aluminum bezel inserts don’t age well and it’s a big turnoff for me.
Would love to see a video about the Cartier Santos de Cartier
Hi Jenni, love your work, the quality and staging of your reviews are high end and really easy to follow. On the subject of seeing something different, I’d like you to take us on a journey of military field watches, both vintage and modern. Danke Andy
I'm a little late, but going to buy this watch this weekend. Thank you for posting such a high quality, detailed video! This is great
Did you get it ?
I’d like to see a Tudor pelagos, north flag or a grand seiko SBGJ211.
I would love to see a video on the JLC Reverso.
Good review and also very candid, thoroughly enjoyed your analysis of this watch. Would like to see more!
Great review. You're a delight to watch!
I'd love to see a review on the Tudor Pelagos - left handed in titanium
Do something with your personal collection and how you decided to acquire them! The story behind them!
I would like to see a video with the most beautiful dial ever: the Grand Seiko SBGH269
love how you place the watch on smaller wrists!! really helpful for small wrist buyers like me
Watched this review when it came out. Watched again as my B&G 58 is coming to my AD this week👍🏻
Great review! Would love to see your thoughts on Breitling, a brand who seems to have slipped behind Omega and Rolex.
I’d like to see your favorite “one-watch” collection!
I bought it last year. Great watch. Loved it. Gave it to my younger brother as a gift because it doesn't get the wrist time over my SUB or DateJust. The rose gold is a great balance on the dial, hands and indices. The off white color balances well the gold and black dial. The dial is quality constructed and the crown is beautiful with the engraved Tudor rose on the cap of the stem. The added security on the clasp deployment is actually superior to the oyster bracelet. I find very little wrong with the watch as a whole. No cyclops date, but the original 58 didn't have one either. Not a big deal in my book. I got it in Dubai while I was in the Rolex shop, funny enough, servicing my SUB. I wore it for 6 months. You wouldn't believe the amount of people who noticed it. I had at least 1 person per day comment to me about it.
Love your videos! I’d love to see a video on approachable hand wound chronographs! Also that watch roll looks amazing!
I’d like to see your opinions on the JLC Polaris collection, “diver” line from Jaeger lecoultre since it seems you know your diver watches haha, and some spotlights on Nomos or Junghans would be nice too!
38 hour power reserve on the Polaris. LOL
@@powerplay.556 Who gives a shit about that. It's enough to keep wound when you're wearing it, and it's time only, or date and time, so it's not hard to set when it stops
JLC imho just isn‘t the right choice if you want sporty/diver watches.
@@rousseau327 We don't all own one watch. The model has been a commercial disaster and the lack of power reserve is one of the main reasons for that. My Tudor Pelagos and Omego Planet Ocean both absolutely shit on the Polaris in every way. 20 bar with push in crowns? lol. The supposed beautiful movement can't be seen or heard when wound. The rubber strap is its best feature. I bought a JLC Master Compressor new in '09, kept it for 7 years but was at Richemont more than on my wrist. They refunded me in full for a reason.
@@powerplay.556 I agree that the Polaris hasn't been the most successful, but we're talking about power reserve here, no? 38 hour power reserve is enough for you to wear another watch for a day, and come back to it, and if the power reserve runs out, the lack of complications on the watch means it's easy to set.
The only reason why 38 hour power reserve is a "problem" is because watches commonly have more nowadays. People used to own watches with this amount of reserve within a large collection without a problem.
I’d love to see some German watches. Possibly the new salmon dial a. lange & söhne even though it’s not even obtainable. Would also move to see the IWC portofino as it has gotten little to no UA-cam coverage at all and that I am on the verge of buying one
Love your vids, as others have mentioned, it is great to see a new face in the watch community :). I personally would look forward to seeing a spotlight shone on brands like Bvlgari, LU Chopard and maybe even Chanel? These jewellery and fashion houses are churning out some really well-finished watches that new watch collectors should know about.
I have the 58 with the red bezel. While I don't dive, I do salt water fly fish. I love the weight on my off hand. Thus far have not had concerns with the bezel construction and it has numerous hours at work wading in salt water. Your commentary on the quick adjust is on point. My hands are in and out of water, the change in fit can be noticeable at times.
Jenni, I would like to see a presentation on the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra.
topgun I’ll second that - I’m thinking it might be the OMEGA for me. Great video.
Just checked my 58 over 24 hours to see how it kept time and it was +/- 0
I'm not that bothered about an automatic losing a couple of seconds per day anyway, but there it is.
Wonderful channel. So polished right out of the gate. Keep it up Jenni!
Loved this video. I'd love to see a video on the Speedmasters, different versions, pro's and conns of each.
We caught on to the three-finger count because of Tarantino's Inglorious Basterds, of course! And I'd love to see some Nomos on this channel--especially some of their sports line from last Basel. Cheers!
Agreed, a review of the Nomos Tangente Neomatik Sport watches from last year would be great.
I thought of the movie as well. Too funny.
It's refreshing to see some "gender diversity" in the UA-cam watch community. Really enjoyed this video, and look forward to seeing more. I'd be interested in your take on NOMOS.
Amen! Finally!
Yes, it's nice seeing a pretty WOMAN doing watch reviews.
No one is stopping them
Personaly I dont care about gender. As long as I enjoy the content. Isnt that just why you watch these kind of vids?
@@johnandmorehb3422 I don't care about gender either, but this hobby seems to be dominated by men, and I just like to see that there are women who appreciate it as well.

Hi Jenni, this is the first video I have watched of yours and thoroughly enjoyed it. You have a new subscriber and looks like I picked the right video as you told us your story at the end. Great content and a nice flow and style, thankyou. 😃
Honestly I would love to see more ladies watches. I’m a bit board with the same videos covering the same watches over and over again. I think ladies watches would be a nice change of pace and would be a great help for me as I’m trying to get my wife into this hobby.
Tony Anguiano thats where the demographic is at. Though i agree a change in watches would be nice, something a little more obscure. Just one more watch does this nicely.

I noticed your first Instagram post was of a Casio F-91w. I'd love to see you do a video about a budget watch icon, like that watch or something similar.
Great review! This really helped me. I am deciding to get this watch. Thank you.
Hi, it's been refreshing listening to a woman's perspective. I just just subscribed and look forward to going back and reviewing your older stuff and more importantly seeing where you go from here.
I would like to see a list of your favorite German watches!
the deal breaker for me is that aluminium bezel and for an everyday watch a date window would be nice
I don't think it's needed. The Submariner doesn't have a date window.
Been watching your channel for a bit now. I’m impressed with the content. Keep up the great work ! And I hope to see an omega flightmaster review sometime!! My favorite watch of all time!
A great review Jenni, thanks. I have this on the fabric strap and I love the size. I have the GMT on bracelet, which of course does feel much bigger. Both great though.
I myself bought a bronze Tudor almost two years ago.
I wanted a large diver. And I admit I really love it. It came with a fabric nato strap, which is really comfortable.
The symmetry of the no-date dial is really to my taste.
I tried a steel black bay on a bracelet too, and although very well made was not to my taste.
I think that the fake rivets ruin it for me.
Diving with it was a lot of fun just as wearing it to the beach side in summer.
I think the 58 is a really great deal and a really great watch with which you can not go wrong.
It’s a great first diver and a generally very versatile for a reasonable cost.

I love the no-date general on every model I consider buying. I have a number of watches and it's just easier to put it on, set the tone and go. Great video, great content made even better by your charming personality. Well done lass.
Love the style of your video, 10secs in I already pressed LIKE!
I'd like to see a review on women-specific watches.
I prefer the Omega Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial 👌🏻
It’s most likely the closest competitor, a thing many reviewers fail to notice as they usually mention the 300M, which is a totally different watch. But the 300 mc-a is a lot bigger and thicker and not recommended for smaller wrists.
Jenni love the videos, especially the prediction video. What I'd love to see are videos on quality straps that are not commonly talked about
Nice video Jenni. Really like your fresh approach on the topic of watches. I'd like to see a video of your personal watch collection. Thanks and keep up the wonderful work
Would love to see your suggestion or suggestions for a "do everything" sub $3000 watch.

I'd like to see some love for the Pelagos as it solves all of the 5 things that's lacking with the BB58
much too chunky n bulky. looks terrible in my opinion.
@@paulschneider7271 on a wimpy wrist, yes
@@Akmal_Alif Reality is, people with wimpy wrists tend to choose a too big watch. Unless you look like the Rock Johnson or Arnold in his best years, you better go with a well proportioned watch.
@@paulschneider7271 That's your opinion though. A man will choose a nice watch that is meant to feel it and this is not as bulky as you think. The all-titanium further solidifies that and you don't feel like it's even there. Have you even tried it on?
I'm going with the 58 fabric strap, because I like fabric, but will probably swap it out for a NATO. I love the enthusiasm you show in your videos, very infectious. Happy New Year.
Very good insight on the watch thank you for all of the knowledge we appreciate your videos 🙏
Men’s watches that women could also wear! A collection of watches that you believe could be unisex
Brandon Soo most watches are unisex imo. It's just if a woman like a bigger watch, I see more women with bigger face watches these days.
God I’m so glad there’s no date window. There’s nothing I hate more
Finally someone thinks just like me
I hate the date window too!
because its also unnecessary. I don't need a watch to know which date we have.
I don't hate them, and, occasionally find them useful, but, I hate having to flip through them every time I put on a watch that I haven't worn in weeks (which happens quite a bit, lately; gotta do some selling). I absolutely loathe having to do that with a watch that has both a day AND date complication. Plus, they look cleaner without such things and they seem to make the stem more prone to mishaps.
I can see y u dont like them but on some watches it doesnt cut off the indices, and i always prefer the date window on those. Its just another complication, cant go wrong with that
Literally just bought this yesterday. It’s the perfect watch. Can’t wait for the next 58 to come out - my moneys on a GMT 58...
Great video, love the details and your smile :). Would love a video on the Brietling Aerospace EVO please
Nobody does Ulysse Nardin. Would be interesting to see one of their watches reviewed
there are a few channels that do. Like Watchfinder. Iv actually started to look at those watches awhole lot differently now and with better appreciation
There's just something so much more aesthetic about the old rose logo and 'smile' of the eta version IMO
I was waiting for a Rolex Sub but the wait was not finished yet last time I went to see my AD and they had a BB58 for a customer who disappeared. Lucky me. I got that instead and i am much happier now. Smaller, less “bling bling”, very cool and classy. Well done Tudor!
