It's been tough in Ga too. I've planted my corn 3 times also. Finally got a good stand. My tomatoes,squash,zucchini,cucumbers are doing awesome!! My okra didn't do good. Watermelons are massive hope they produce well!!

I had to replant some of my vegetables plants to, that storm that came through Dallas, it destroyed my tomato plants and my bell peppers, I'm going to get some more and hope they do good.

Your in Texas, your growing season is long or it can be long enough to wear you could get two crops planted and harvested. But that’s if you don’t get smacked by rain. Not as much rain you can water. I’d put some fertilizer on the side of plants. Rain can wash away nutrients or fertilizer that was added at planting.

Also dont buy wal mart seed go to your local green house and ask them what kind of sweet corn grows in your area. Man you got to grow fresh sweet corn👍🏻👍🏻🙏🏻
Bossman your corn seeds could be bad. You still have time to replant your corn. Get some fresh corn seeds . Soak the corn seeds overnight in room temperature water then replant.

I have a little recommendation for you for next year's planting. Next year try using Raised Garden Beds, we get quite a bit of rain here in Detroit, Mi and the people I know who use the Raised Garden Beds do the best yielding at the end of the season, just a recommendation.
Here in Texas, you will have to water a raised bed every day

Hey boss man I got Lil yard so I went got me sum of them tubs from Walmart and plant sum watermelons in them 2 plants per tub and they seem to be doing pretty good!! Went got me sum cattle panel from tractor supply 16 feet for bout 30 bucks

on that corn when you planting seeds and you get that little germination its not you its the seeds they were bad from jump so dont beat yourself up on that. you got plenty of season left for the stuff you planted those plants grow pretty quick. looks like you bounced back

Naw every time i planted here comes a heavy rain storm. Which probably pushes them farther into the ground.

It is very informative to hear from a hobbyist or small time farmer as to how climate change is effecting their yields; it is not simply the weather! If you are having these problems, other small farmers, mom & pop farmers and large scale industrial farmers are in the same boat. It seems like the further you go West, the worse the drought gets 👈🏾
Try putting next year a brim about 8 inches under each stalk of corn, I did it and got 3 ears bigger than I've ever gotten. Old Indian tradition.
