- This is my second year planting and i learn something new every year. Purple Hull peas and Squash are always my favorite vegetables to plant. They are going to be growing staggered this year because of the weather. But I’ll try to yield much as I can this season,Even replanting. That is an impressive okra, I must say. Favorite part of the video was watching the Hunter stop everything and get eyeballs on whatever made that odd noise (car horn), with the years of training a true country man naturally gains. A lesser man would have just ignored it and continued filming uninterrupted. I gotta say, I really enjoy watching your videos, thank you.
Seeing this video brings back childhood memories of peeling purple hull peas at my Grandparents house in the 1960's.

Those peas do not have to be purple to be ready to pick even the green hulls are ready , our peas are constantly ready to be picked

You just reminded me I have some cranberry beans in the pantry and a hambone in the freezer. Going to get it all out. Soak it overnight for supper tomorrow night.

The veges would go very well with the game meat. Venison cooked in a slow cooker for 6 hours and roast veges, wonderfull. Or, steamed fish and veges. Fish also goes well with rice and a stew of those veges.☘
Those two squash growing together is fine very eatable, the cucumber grow good on a trellis or on a cow panel and your better off with todays hybrids is buying new seed unless it is a heritage variety then you can plant seed from previous seed saved from your harvested seeds
Been picking bush beans for two weeks and today broccoli. Tomato's are all over and still green. Zucchini are a week away. Here in Maryland.

Dig a hole about 8 inches away from the watermelon plant about 5 inches deep an 6 inch round fill it up with 10 10 10 fertilizer put water in with it that make it shit an get
Bossman...you putting any kind of pest control stuff on the plants? Those caterpillar's and the holes in the leaves might be an early warning that you need to deploy some pest control countermeasures.

How do you keep the weeds out of your garden? I notice a lot of those okra seeds are GMO. I had a great crop one year and save some seeds they did not grow more than 12 inches in hight and produce no fruits. Overall it is awesome that you are able to harvest something.
