I was noticing your adorable hat! So cute with the pockets on there! Wow that coat is stunning! You did an amazing, beautiful job on it. It is a true work of art and it looks great on your husband.
First, I've saved that hat video to my upcycle Playlist thank you for saying it was an upcycle 😊. Secondly, REBECCA this jacket is fabulous and I know your husband is sooo appreciative. His wife got SKILZ 😂😂😂
Yes, the hat is an upcycle, and I did use a pattern to make it.☺ It has been my go-to hat on a regular basis because I made it roomy enough for "the fro".😜 Thanks for watching. I haven't been able to watch any videos lately...tryna keep up with client work right now...Whew!..."won't he do it?"👆🏾🙏🏾🪡
OMG 😳 that jacket turned out awesome 👏🏻 if you had not videoed yourself sewing it, it could pass for factory made. OMG and you put that thick blanket under a serger?! 😳🏆🏅👏🏻wow. Did you use standard settings? I have a Babylock but, I’ve been scared to put anything thick under it. I’ve been successful with Lux fleece but, not with Sherpa fleece. It was a hot mess 😆 I’m sure there was something I was doing wrong.😆 Also, I do like the hat because it doesn’t look like a baseball hat, because it is a little rounded it looks more feminine. 🤷🏻♀️the visor is a little bigger and probably adds more protection from the sun. 👍
Hi there, thanks so much for chatting with me. A tip when using thick fibers with a serger...Did you notice how I trimmed the armhole of the jacket first? That's because I did not engage the blade when using the serger. I did my cutting with scissors and only used the serger for the overlocking aspect. (hope that makes sense) That way it's easier to run the thickness thru because the blade is not doing any work. I agree with your assessment on the hat. You noticed! ☺Bravo!👍🏾❤
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 that jacket. And that hat. So much inspiration, not let me go pull some fabric out and make something. 💜💜💜
Get it girl😄...Happy Sewing!🪡🧵
You, my dear, are truly an artist; that jacket/coat is fantastic!
