Thanks sooo very much for sharing! Great job, as with everything you do! You are so talented, last weekend I binged watched all of your videos, amazing!❤️❤️❤️
Hi Deidra, a million thanks for taking time to view and comment on all of my videos.🤗 Your interest is welcome and greatly appreciated. I enjoy sharing my passion for garment construction, and it's always a treat when others enjoy what I share. Blessings!💓
They ARE super cute!! So much talent and vision. I've been an advanced sewing enthusiast over 50 years and still learning. Going to try this on a pair of jeans I've never been able to wear. Um hm😊
I was like, "What about the seam allowances?" But I love the idea of patching in additional fabric. I have been collecting jeans for a project. Even tho I haven't narrowed down what project yet. Most of the jeans are from friends but some are mine that are too small. But now I figure I could add strips of Ankara and continue to wear the jeans and coordinate with other pieces...😊 Thanks💋
Oh yeah, I love the idea of adding Ankara. Those will definitely become statement piece jeans. I did address the seam allowance issue. As customary with upcycling, I don't always know where I'm going or how I'm gonna get there. I just buckle up and go for the ride. 🪡🧵Thanks so much for going on this journey with me. Peace and Blessings🤗
Love what you did, so many ideas flowing. That was a great tip about making sure the sides were cleaned up. Ohhhhh, I was wondering how you made it snug in the back. Love the slit 💙💙💙 fun project. Will have to go watch the jacket video.
Thanks Nateida! I feel so special, knowing that you are enjoying the content. That means a great deal to me. Here's the link to the jacket video. ua-cam.com/video/aZxqglXMvFs/v-deo.html Enjoy creating your denim collection. I'll be looking👀😊
Thanks so much for the video. I love the work you do. I am beginning my sewing journey. I think I am going to start with upcycling. I have been watching commercial design for inspiration. All of this brings me to my question. Where do you look for your inspiration? Thanks again.
Thank you for complimenting my work and welcome to the world of garment construction.I'm "SEW" excited for you! For me, inspiration comes from many sources. But primarily, I'm inspired by textiles...color, texture, weight, drape, etc. That's usually where it starts.
