Love the shirt and coffee cup and your sunny disposition! I would like to point out a few things. 1. I didn't notice you talk about the tension you should set your machine at to get better gathers. I usually set mine to 6 but it also depends on the machine. 2. If you are using a fabric that has an obvious wrong and right side, like something with a print, you must sew with right sides up so the elastic thread is on the wrong side and the regular thread is showing on the right side. 3. I don't care for the little puckers that show up on the top from all the shirring so I will create a casing at the top and insert 1/4" elastic so it sits flush with my body.

😬What happened? I was thinking of looking into this machine.
Wow, I wonder what specifically happened because my experience with this machine has been phenomenal...Nothing but excellent performance. I consider myself to be pretty hard on all of my sewing equipment because I use a lot of heavy layered fibers and fabrics, and this machine gets the job done. I've had it for about four years now (maybe longer)...made everything but the kitchen sink with it, and haven't had any issues. Sorry things didn't work out for you with this machine. But I do hope that you are still SEWING STRONG. xoxo

Hi Nateida! Thanks for watching on your lunch break. I have to focus on finishing my garments well because I end up selling them. My grandma was a strict teacher. I'm thankful for her instruction. She always challenged me to take a step back and think about how to improve my process. Precious memories of the times we spent sewing together are the best. I wish she could see my sewing channel...How I miss her so.
