Speed/density uses fuel tables (based off MAP - manifold absolute pressure: the pressure/vacuum in the intake manifold). AFM calibrations are based off the MAF sensor reading and injector opening times. They're different styles of tuning. With forced induction you have to use speed/density. MAP to determine WOT (wide open throttle) means the map sensor determines when you'll be in open loop. Vtec engagement should be smooth. You want to look for similar fuel values when comparing the last two columns of the low fuel maps to the high fuel maps. The rpm at that spot is where the vtec crossover should be. Keep in mind you need to tune your cam angles/vtc tables before you can compare them. Also under VTC calibrations, its a good idea to check "use vtc tables upon decel fuel cut" and uncheck the other one. This helps prevent premature timing chain tensioner failure. Also under throttle parameters you want to have overrun throttle opening disabled. This will remove the rev hang. As long as part throttle fuel trims are + or - 5% everything is good. Its best to go in finer detail with WOT pulls because there will be no short term fuel trim applied. This can be a lean condition that should be avoided. Ya idk much about this dudes setup but you will get valve float above 8500rpm on a stock K20z3, he is still running a MAF cal and some wack as timing on the crackle map. Just set VTC decel to 0 and only set the 0 deg map with - ignition values in the first two columns above ~1500-2krpm maybe try like -4 deg at the bottom and go up to -6 then interpolate the cels (CTRL P) from -4 to where ever you started the negative ignition values into the correct timing at 1500 RPM. If you do not want to smoke your exhaust valves and drive around like a dick all the time just go into the anti lag under rev limits and set RPM additional fuel to ~2-3,000 units, set your Launch RPM ign retard to -20-30 and set the min RPM for enrichment to ~300 RPM less than your launch control and you can just have a snappy 2 step on an NA motor that will pop and crackle on demand when you want to get up on the 2 step instead of always having your decel destroying your exhaust valves. Remember what you are doing is letting the explosions that are supposed to be contained in the combustion chamber leak out into your exhaust. Thats what makes the pop/crackle. @@vtechlife2485 try it you gotta try different maps till you find a good one for your car....you want it to pull pull and pull...not pull fall on its face then pull again....these are just base maps to get you going you would need a tune for your bolt on...I'm etuned by Instagram @Yosh_Tuned he does really good work...find a good one then adjust the ignition tables
Show us a video of the car popping 😭
I have a video when I take it out for a spin, it's hard to get outside footage when you have no one to hold the camera sorry bro, I'll try. Its after I upload the Second Calibration. ua-cam.com/video/JjiyxJA_xxo/v-deo.html

Remember guys if your engine is stock no crazy set ups the crackle and pops will make you loose power specially on k20z3 engines..
Yeah i highly recommend it on full bolt ons only no cats, it can possibly damage the Catalytic converter
@@559powerscape let it damage the cat, i dont see the problem lol
