Thank you very much for this. I bought a Hondata for my Si and disabled the rev hang with it and had to reflash it to stock tonight as I'm thinking of trading it in for a WRX STI. Worked like a charm. Unfortunately, rev hang still drives me nuts. Lol.

Is it mandatory to unlock flashpro for vehicles after returning ECU back to stock? I just need to pass emission to every 2 yrs I have to go through this process but this time I did this on my own! So went back to stock but now my idle is going up n down when neutral and in gear not sure what to do 😩 no check engine!
Good vid bro! Quick question, I currently have a basemap on my car right now and I was working on my car yesterday and had to take out the battery. Does it reset to stock tune when the battery is taken out. Seems like my vtec is not hitting the vtec @4500rpm.
I need a bit of help. i follow this instructions and flash it back to stock and unlocked it. everything was good other then the abnormal idle. this morning i turned the car on and idle was going up and dr down from 1k to 2k and M.I.L came on. can this be because of the idle? any help would be great thanks.
I did this on my 2013 si and now I’m have high idle issues. Is there a way to fix that? I tried the relearn procedure but can’t keep the rpms at 3000 because it fluctuate too much.
If you flash back to stock will you be able to pass inspection? From what I've heard inspectors are able to detect whether or not the ecu was tuned previous to it being flashed to stock and can fail you for that. Is this true? I'm also from Massachusetts so it maybe stricter here than in other states
Im also in the same boat as you ... Also from mass as well got my car flag and been struggling to get inspected and pass with the ktuner.. After 9months now I'm gonna load a base map no tune and see if they will detect anything tomorrow!
virachai336 yeah just do a base map should be fine. Mine was alittle crooked cause I even left the header i, but my monitors we're all set even the cat with the catless header
That's what I did the 1st time.. But I think I had a base map with intake tune and they said that its still showing some serial # or something doesn't match..unless they just bs with me. Then I finally uploaded base no tune and taking it back in tomorrow . so fingers cross.. Keep in mind this is getting inspected through mac and not our local shop.
Hi , I have a question, I want to sell my hondata to friend that the same type r 2018. Do I have to unlock the hondata from my car to stock and them switch the ecu,s.
My car is bogging out, idk why, can it be my hondats? Just started out of nowhere. Idk what it is. Only when I'm doing like 40 mph, if I drive and let go of the gas, and try to accelerate it doesn't move. Like I have no power.
I know I'm like really late, but if the previous owner of the hondata is uncertain if he unlocked the flashpro or not, he doesn't have the car, or the laptop anymore, but we found the new owner of the car. My question is, can I and the previous owner unlock the flashpro on a different laptop that wasn't used to tune the car?
I have a 2015 si and I got a exhaust and a short ram intake and planing on getting the throttle spacer and latter the header do I need to tuned my car? And how this work it come with program tune already?
+Rafael Vega You do not need to tune the vehicle, but you can produce more power with a tune. The Flashpro does include some basemaps, but may not always be what you have. You get the best results with a professional tuner.
I recently bought a 2015 Honda Civic si. If I buy hondata and connect it and then something happens to the car so I convert it back to stock to claim a warranty would the ecu remember it or would it be just like being stock
If you did not save your tune on your PC, it will be gone for good. If you are planning to switch between tunes, it is recommend to save them on your PC and switch between them when needed. This also provides a back up in case anything does happen to it.
PRO Car Studio if my car throwing a evap code and saying unready fuel system and catalyst will those clear once flash to stock or will they stay? Thanks for your help
Yo what’s up man hopefully you can help me out my car won’t crank nothing not even the fuel pump will kick on checked fuses battery all that my initial problem was my waste gate got stuck open and code p0299 was popping up tried holding program and data log button hoping it would re-flash now my car won’t start can you help thank you!
William doutt You can definitely set this in the FlashPro, here is a link to show you where it is done: www.hondata.com/help/flashpro/index.html?vtec_parameters.htm. Keep in mind lowering your VTEC point (really a "window" in the case of iVTEC) will require some re-tuning for optimal power.
Gabriel Guerrero plug it into your car and turn the key to the on spot. don't start. wait five seconds then turn it off. go to your computer and try again
I have a 2015 civic and I tried to return my ecu to stock however it only gave me the option to return to a 2014, I chose that and now my cars idle is surging is there an update or something I need to install?
+Danny Martinez If you ordered the FlashPro from us, please email us at customercare@procivic.com with your order #. This issue can require some detailed troubleshooting sometimes.
+Danny Martinez Since it was used, there may be something else going on that we will not be able to properly troubleshoot. The best we can tell you is to try the Hondata forums where a Hondata tech may know what's going on, also make sure to have the latest drivers for it just in case. Here's a link to the forums: www.hondata.com/forum/
I have the same problem with my 15 si, I tried to put it back to stock and when I did it started to idle bad, I bought the flash pro new and I was the only one to used it, I wonder if you ever got this problem solved, if you did can you be kind enough and let me know how thanks..
safeel ali don't need to start the car for flashpro to work. if it's locked and car doesn't work you mail the cars ECU and flashpro to hondata for them to unlock it. if it's a stolen flashpro just throw it away you'll never unlock it.

Hey, was wondering, saw you had the stock reflash tune on, would you say that was better than just the maf tune?
I did this on my 2013 si and now I’m have high idle issues. Is there a way to fix that? I tried the relearn procedure but can’t keep the rpms at 3000 because it fluctuate too much.
Richard Cruz same problem...
Y’all ever figure it out I’m having that problem now! 💀
i converted pack to stock cause i was runing lean around 15.9 doing a pull or cruising and now that i put it back to stock somehow i have 2step lol
Can you program a new ecu with it
Question returning to shock. Needs to do relearning idle procedure

No I doubt it. I passed inspection while on a stock base map from hondata

My car is married to one hondata flashpro just wondering if i can just buy a new one or I need to deal with the ECU to tune it?
Same question here pls help
Hi , I have a question, I want to sell my hondata to friend that the same type r 2018. Do I have to unlock the hondata from my car to stock and them switch the ecu,s.
Yea it locks to your car via vin# so you have to unlock it
does all hondata flashpro module are the same or is it programmed for the specific type of engine, model, year, turbo?
The Flashpro is specific for the vehicle. For example, the flashpro for a 2012-2015 civic si will not work on a non-si model or other years.
@@procivic thank you

I recently bought a 2015 Honda Civic si. If I buy hondata and connect it and then something happens to the car so I convert it back to stock to claim a warranty would the ecu remember it or would it be just like being stock
+cory jerin That we know of, it does not remember tunes. Hondata also does not see this as a problem.
PRO Car Studio. So there is no secret way that if Honda hooked it up to a computer they would see anything?
+cory jerin Not that we know of. We have yet to hear of any issues with reflashing and the dealer finding out after it was returned to stock.
I disagree, my dealership says I reflashed my vehicle to stock , and it was never flashed to my knowledge. They voided my warranty.
Honda's engineers have a snap shop of the ECU...
Any help works

PRO Car Studio if my car throwing a evap code and saying unready fuel system and catalyst will those clear once flash to stock or will they stay? Thanks for your help
If there is an underlying problem, such a bad sensor, connection, or vacuum line, the code will continue to com back.
Can i unlock from the vehicle and leave the tune in the car?

Can you unlock the flash pro and keep the turn that is already on the ecu with out putting it back to stock?
No, the car must be returned to stock before it can be unlocked.
@@procivic thanks
hello sr the previous owner sold me with all the flashpro but I disconnect when I take out the batwria and where can you install that please answer me
+Wilson Andagana Please email our customercare@procivic.com for proper tech assistance.
What do you do if you no longer have the vehicle that it was originally used with
+Black Duramax If it was not unlocked, you will have to contact Hondata to help you with the process.
how do you set your I-vtec to kick in at 4000 rpm s mine kicks in now at 5000 and I can not find any thing in flashpro to set it lower.

I bought a used flash pro but won't allow me to register and it's unlocked.

Carl M Colorado got it to work lol
What happens if there was an error ?
I tried to set it back to stock but my car won’t start now what do you think it could be
dead battery
Is there a way I can unlock my flashpro without going back to stock ECU
It is not possible. If you wish to unlock the flashpro from the current car, it must be returned to the stock tune first.
I have a 2015 civic and I tried to return my ecu to stock however it only gave me the option to return to a 2014, I chose that and now my cars idle is surging is there an update or something I need to install?
