Hi Ron, just wanted to tell I enjoy these CP88 videos very much. You’re playing is amazing and your voice as well! I have this board myself so I looked you up on Soundmondo. Love the patches you put together. Thanks!
Your FABULOUS!! Love all your covers and choice of songs. I’m really falling in love with the CP88 thanks to your videos. I think Yamaha should offer you a position as a product demo rep. I have subscribed.
Really enjoyed that. I have just purchased the CK88 and so it is so helpful when you explain which instruments you layer to create the sound. Look forward to your next one 🎶
I am trying learn quickly all about the keyboard. Just started playing in a band and this ticked most boxes. I also have a CVP809 which I love but not had to make up sounds and layers to the extent of the CK. The CK piano action is ok but nothing like the CVP which I believe is similar to that of the CP88. Just trying to learn now how and when to use the different effects to replicate sounds from the songs.
Great demo ! you are very talented and this is one of the best demos I’ve seen to sell that keyboard! I’ve got that keyboard had it for a few years mostly for jazz and programmed it to play some wild improvs , MRM trio unedited improv
Thanks Arthur. I could play very early in my life. When I was nine I took seven years of piano but I learned how to really play when I started gigging at 14.
Everyone's ear and opinion is different as far as what they consider a good piano sound. I think the Nord has a better true piano sound than the CP88, but the CP88 does have a few good piano sounds and it's a great board for gigging. I guess it's in what environment you want to play it. If it was just solo piano, the Nord is the way to go, in my opinion.

Thank you so much. I really enjoy my CP88.
@@RonWarrenmusic57 me too! Would have loved some more voices though. Hopefully they will address this in a future update.

@@RonWarrenmusic57 Could you tell me if your voice works with "Make it with you" by Bread
great songs great playing great voice! Some new songs too (for me) look up and get down.
Really enjoyed this video, Ron! I was wondering if the CP88 has a dyno rhodes sound or if it can be added with effects. Thanks!
It does not have a dyno Rhodes (by name) but there are a couple of voices that seem to resemble it.
Ron, I really enjoy your playing and singing. Where did you learn how to play?
Thanks Arthur. I could play very early in my life. When I was nine I took seven years of piano but I learned how to really play when I started gigging at 14.
Good tunes from my era,I’ve ordered this keyboard, just hope it’s got real good piano sound, been having problems getting real decent piano tone
