Let the Nancies be negative and the Daniels down, I think your voice sounds amazing and I could only wish to be able to sing like you. And as for the 1.6 update: I think mono and portamento should’ve been available from the start. I wished Yamaha had would add some more instruments. I find it peculiar that an instrument so piano oriented doesn’t have some more uprights, mellow sounding pianos, or more CP samples for that matter. And yeah, more realism parameters like string resonance and mechanical noises. I think you’re right about Keyscape. My dream machine would be Keyscape’s pianos and SWAM’s orchestral instruments with the CP88 keybed and interface, in one machine. No laptops. 😃

I attempted to due the 1.6 upgrade first by saving my custom settings data on a USB stick as it recommended and ended up losing hours of work stored. My screw up and never attempted it again. From what I’ve been hearing from various sources the upgrade just wasn’t worth the effort. Awesome playing Don keep up the good work.
A real musician knows musicians routinely change the key a song is to suit the singers voice as well as for the band members playing different instruments and the range of difficulty that particular piece is in. As in woodwind instruments for example. I play Saxophone and Piano and have been in this situation where the original key was not suitable for saxophone.
