@@user-bf2wi4jy7w I just listened to a few videos of the Montage M, and my first impression is that the piano sounds like a Roland RD2000, kind of heavy and clunky. This would not make me want to purchase it. It looks like another beast from Yamaha. I wish they hadn't left us CP88 players at the altar.

Out of interest, since our past Comments @ your YT Channel I had registered login to the Yamaha Soundmondo website for accessing your CP88 fab’ programs, and also then also purchased the 🤗CP88 🎹🎶 and love it! … so I am going to try practicing your fab’ ballady-songs clicking on the slow-video cogwheel options. 🤗🎹🎶 Thanks again for your replies Ron. That's correct. The original key is too high for me.

The dongle is a lightning into the iPad with the other end a usb A female adapter. My black cable is a usb A on one end that plugs into the adapter and a usb B on the other end that plugs into my keyboard.

Thanks. The action is very nice. As far as connecting with it, I want to play it all the time. I believe for you and your genre of music, the Nord Grand 2 is your ticket. The Nord pianos are quite remarkable and have that emotional content you are seeking. The new Nord Grand 2 has the Kawai keyboard.

@@MsrAlaindeFerrier Well, to each his own. You may consider a Kawai MP11SE. I've never played one, but many say it's the closest thing to a real grand. Hope you find what you're looking for.

Hello Amir. Thank you for your kind words. I'll be happy to help you get that Elton John sound. The easiest way is through Soundmondo, which is a free service to Yamaha users. Just google Soundmondo, go to that website, and create an account. After that type in my name in the search window and it will display ALL of the voices/performances I have created. I actually have two Elton John voices to choose from. The one you heard in my "Candle in the Wind" video was my "Sir Elton John" voice. There is another called "Elton John Grand". You may like that one as well. You can download these voices directly to your CP88 and it will be EXACTLY the same sound I have created. I use my iPad to download the voices, although you can use a computer. Get a cable that has a USB-B end and insert that on the back of your CP88 into the USB-B port. The other end of the cable should be a lightning end that you can insert into your iPad (or USB for your computer). Go to the Soundmondo site and you can audition the sounds, and then just click upload and you will have them at the slot where you want. Very easy process, and you can download 100s of sounds. Free of course. Try this and if you still have any questions let me know. I can also tell you how to create the "Sir Elton John" voice without having to go to Soundmondo. You can just build it yourself (which is always helpful in learning about your CP88). God bless!
