I agree with you that manual is much better than CVT. There is no doubt about it. But is CVT that bad as compared to DCT/DSG? I have seen the acceleration timings in Autocar's review. If we look at 0-100 kmph this CVT is faster than Verna Turbo + DCT. For kick down acceleration from 20-80 kmph and 40-100 kmph again this CVT is faster than Verna DCT (by a decent margin) and even Vento 1.2 TSI (which was probably the fastest). I have heard about the quick shifts in DCT/DSG and the quick acceleration that they provide which makes them fun. But if this CVT is faster than DCT/DSG counterparts what makes those DCT/DSG more fun to drive? Am I missing something?

If you aren’t an enthusiast, this is one of the best cars in its segment, I recently purchased a V CVT Honda City, my first preference was a manual but I went for the CVT because of convenience, living in a city like Bangalore I find the CVT to be a breeze to drive. @@Mr.Coffee576 I did miss the manual initially but now I am happy with the CVT. You will need to change your style of driving to enjoy a CVT gearbox, especially on the highways.
