I know sedans have to be driven carefully, but assume you are careful will this be able to survive without bottoming out on full load??

I was always surprised by your work and this is no exception as you guys always review a car with ease and curiosity which helps us know better about the vehicle. City is a nice car but don't you think an automatic in diesel is needed considering what the competition has on their cards and increasing customer base turning towards automatics?
It’s nice to know you enjoy what we do. As for your question- Diesel and automatic is an expensive combination. And if there’s very little demand for it, it doesn’t make sense for a car maker to add it to the line up and build stock around it.

One of the easiest reviews on ears and eyes. Could you help? I have driven Altis for over 1.25 lacs kms and had to recently sell it since it was about time. Currently sharing my wife’s car and desperately looking for a potential prospect to fill the void (not just in garage, but more in heart) that Altis has left behind. I have always felt that Creta/ Seltos are just beefed up hatchbacks but they must be really nice cars given their demand and sales. I’m confused between Honda City, Seltos and Creta too. Why? Because I always feel sedans are fun to drive (Altis hangover) but looking at the trend and the fact that at almost same price you get more space (I could be wrong) in Creta and Seltos. I’m also looking for occasional trips to mountains. Ps - the car will be an automatic and hopefully top variant. Also, do you know if Toyota will ever re-launch Altis? Thanks a lot. Hello. Looking to buy a car in the 20 lakh range and am confused between the Kia seltos GTX+ DCT and Honda City ZX CVT. Which one would you recommend between the two? I usually keep my cars for 8-10 years and primary requirement is long term reliability and space. Ride quality is also very important since roads around my house are very poor. Thanks Ninad. Now, to the question if the city vs the SUVs. I think the SUVs are definitely better spec for spec as packages. The City has its advantages, but as a product overall, especially at this price, no it doesn’t beat the SUVs.

The Venue is a great car. And I personally like it quite a lot. As for buying the bs4 versions, I think you should look at a discount of around 15-20 per cent given the car is preowned now, no matter how little the km on the odo.

Creta no doubt....I tried both cars....Honda City was gave me an unpleasant experience in comfort... But Creta was awesome...more space and smooth and best for Indian roads..
Sir since now prices are out, what can we opt now city petrol V MT or seltos htk petrol for a daily run of 30 kms. as you said most of us are not segment oriented, we want right value proposition in a product. Kindly suggest as per your experience.
I would say go for the City. It will cost you a little more but for t he specs you mention, the Honda is better equipped and it is easier to drive in the city as well.

Diesel is inreasingly not worth it. Hybrid Petrol will be the future.

Hello. Looking to buy a car in the 20 lakh range and am confused between the Kia seltos GTX+ DCT and Honda City ZX CVT. Which one would you recommend between the two?
I usually keep my cars for 8-10 years and primary requirement is long term reliability and space. Ride quality is also very important since roads around my house are very poor. I already own a 2018 Creta.

@V P you are kidding me honda city scored 5 stars in ASEAN NCAP It's got Alexa enabled telematics india first, G force meter that you get on nissan gtr's lane watch camera and ambeint lighting which the verna still dreams for.nothing can match city in handling, comfort in back seats ,performance of a vtec verna is a trash in handling and chaffeaur driving character.Verna just two to three extra features and also an cheap overdesigned exterior.Honda builds tough cars and tough engines too they last more than 12 years verna engine barely lasts 10 years. City is the king of the sedans

Thanks Ninad. Now, to the question if the city vs the SUVs. I think the SUVs are definitely better spec for spec as packages. The City has its advantages, but as a product overall, especially at this price, no it doesn’t beat the SUVs.

I was planning to buy either seltos or creta till yesterday. But this car .... Honda city is pulling me back to choose a sedan. I own a Honda city an old one, still in love with it. But badly wanted to upgrade it. So decided to go for the most selling segment SUVs like seltos and creta. But now considering the size and usability I think I will be considering city as well. Will test drive each one of them back to back and make a decision. My heart has chosen CITY 2020.

I haven’t driven or experienced the XL6 personally. So can’t really comment. But the Creta seats we pretty good. Comfy and large.

The Venue is a great car. And I personally like it quite a lot. As for buying the bs4 versions, I think you should look at a discount of around 15-20 per cent given the car is preowned now, no matter how little the km on the odo.

Unfortunately thanks to the current we haven’t been able to try the long distance bit. But, you can’t go wrong with either .
City 2020 seats are unmatched they are so comfortable you won't feel tired at all its just that first class experience
Creta no doubt....I tried both cars....Honda City was gave me an unpleasant experience in comfort... But Creta was awesome...more space and smooth and best for Indian roads..
Sir since now prices are out, what can we opt now city petrol V MT or seltos htk petrol for a daily run of 30 kms. as you said most of us are not segment oriented, we want right value proposition in a product. Kindly suggest as per your experience.
I would say go for the City. It will cost you a little more but for t he specs you mention, the Honda is better equipped and it is easier to drive in the city as well.
