Took me too long to find this video that answered my question lol. I was watching too many videos of the self service kiosk but none of them had an actual example of the QR code being scanned in, only prepaid labels. Thanks for the video!

It also works with mercari, and if you want to buy a label use pirate ship, why pay retail...
I use pirate ship for all of my labels regardless of the venue or platform, it's easier for bookkeeping also

I second everyone, I didnt know i had to press "other" and select "QR Code", instead, when the red scanner was flashing I put my QR code and it wouldn't register. It was "Other" all along!!! So thanks a million!
Question: You proceeded to the drop off desk, today is sunday, so can I drop off the package into the blue box instead once I affix label as u did? Or does the package need to be handed over like u did? Sorry im new to ebay n all this..thanks

My post office's kiosk doesn't have this option smh. I wish I could search for a kiosk that does have it.
Might be worth asking them if they can add it! Mine didn’t use to have it as an option either then they added it a few months ago

no but if you need to just ship something on your own you can use the Kiosk and purchase a label. Takes a little longer since you have to type the address in and pay with your credit card but still better than standing in line!

This is a huge help! I have my first ever eBay sale and I did not want to use my printer to print it off. I do have a question. If I print out the label, do I have to buy the packaging or can I just grab one of the envelopes and send it off. Is that covered in my shipping that eBay provides?
If your shipping USPS Priority Mail they have boxes/envelopes you can use…some are “flat rate” and some our normal priority mail that will be charged based on weight and distance. You can also use your own packaging if you already have something.
If you ship USPS Ground Advantage you’ll have to use your own packaging (can’t use Priority”

Can you do it without the qr code if you got the broker id?
I don’t believe that is an option at the self service machine but I don’t for sure

was it a USPS QR? a lot of Amazon returns are UPS
Yeah, it was USP. I didn’t find another option on the returns pages
@@EllisJane you can do the same thing at UPS. Take the QR code to them and they’ll print you a label.
Does every USPS office have these kiosks ? And if not. Is there a resource that identifies the locations with a kiosk ? Thanks
no not every one, I usually just check google maps and if it has a kiosk it says it in the reviews or in a picture.

Yes, I believe so! If it’s a USPS Shipping Label and they offer QR option it will work.
If you have multiple items to ship, multiple QR codes..can u hit "continue shopping" and do the next label or do you sugget printing a receipt after each one?
I always hit continue shopping and scan my next QR. Then at the end it will print all of your labels and a receipt with all the items on it!

Yes if you print the label at home you can just drop it off!

That will depend on where you’re shipping it. But probably around $4-$7
How does it long for tracking to get updated?
Usually within a couple hours it will show “USPS in possession of Item”
At my post office I can also drop off items like this on Sunday so in that case it updates the next day when they are back working.

Unfortunately not all post offices have kiosks! Hopefully that means your lines arnt too long!

It is a Prepaid label!
You can also purchase a label using the machine too for normal shipping but purchasing the label through eBay (or similar) will typically be cheaper.
No additional cost to Print the label.
Ist amendment auditors usually get the cops called on them when they bring a video camera inside a post office.
