I have been searching through UA-cam for a real, genuine motivational video where someone isn’t interviewing someone and trying to sell a course. Or trying to sell a certain lifestyle. This was amazing. Thank you so much for allowing her to tell her story and sharing it with us. It’s very hard to find videos on UA-cam where they don’t glamorize business and the life they’re living but actually focusing on the reality of things. This was very refreshing.
Wtf 😂 It’s everyone’s responsibility to start their own way in life. It’s only impressive because you along 99% of the rest of the world population is comfortable with being wage slaves even if it makes your life miserable or even kills you
One of the best motivational interviews I have seen in a longtime. A captivating story entailing the pinnacle of creativity to provide solutions for everyday problems. I love the fact that she went in all 100% and never looked back. From $30 first ever sale to 7-figure per day is a testament to her commitment and consistency. Well done.
I did cloth diapers with both my kids. They were SOO addictive to collect!! NOT to mention you can resell after and make your money back. I spent $500 on cloth diapers, and made $300 back after I sold them as second hand. Vs paying 2k-3k with disposable diapers and having that on my conscious that those diapers would end up in the landfills taking decades to biodegrade.
did the same 25+ years ago with my kids, except I gave them away to a friend. She sent them to Africa where her daughter was living with her Doctor hubby and they did another four kids! Only used disposables at night or going out and saved a fortune, never mind helping the landfill!
An American manufacturer never would have made that small starter order for her. Our family had some toys that we wanted made -- in the 1970s -- and the manufacturer wouldn't even talk to mom, so my dad had to deal with them. We had to make a huge order. Then at the toy fair in NYC, that manufacturer sold the toys as HIS OWN. It was a disaster. Our loyal clients helped, but we eventually licensed the toys overseas because a small business had no leverage with American manufacturers. Now young people can work with Alibaba's vetted manufacturers. It's incredible!
Wow! What an inspiration! I used nappies like hers in the UK so I'm not sure whether she used a design file or she created the pattern herself but these nappies are all over the world now and definitely so much better than disposables, with the exception of the baby/child having a big padded bottom, but probably better for falling down 😅
Are you sure? Yes we had disposable with poppa nappies but what she has desgined is poppers all over it so it goes from newborn up until potty training. Did you have that type in one nappy?
What a wonderful video. I was teared up the whole time! So happy for you. So sad your life almost ended, but look at that turnaround! You are very encouraging. Thanks Davie for interviewing her.
Yessssss. This is the type of content I want to see from you. Don’t turn into an average online guru, because you can be way way more. No get rich quick schemes. Real businesses making real money while contributing to the world
Damn right. I've heard that most start-ups are borne out of frustration- frustration that a better way of doing something is being repressed by big companies, frustration about own career and pay, frustration about the recurring problem and wanting to solve it.
This is the best video I've seen. I was crying, I was laughing and i was so proud of this woman that I've never met. Such an inspirational video. Thank you.
This was inspiring, and a great business model! I truly hope she dropped that supplier after they blackmailed her and found someone ethical and accountable.
I completely agree with you! My first 100k took a long time and wasn't that special to be honest with you. Once I hit 300K that is the game changer in my opinion. At this point my money is basically making me a pretty good yearly salary. When I go to sleep at night I know my money is making decent money with the help of my FA
Nice. People often underestimate financial advisors' importance. Over 50 years of data reveal that those who work with advisors typically earn more than those who go it alone. I've been fortunate to work with one for 13 years, resulting in a $1 million portfolio, largely from early investments in AI and other growth stocks.
Wow, Amy's journey is truly inspiring! Overcoming obstacles and building a successful business from scratch is no easy feat. Transparency and resilience are key!
How about we discuss for a moment how her Chinese manufacturer rep was going to throw her under the bus and blackmailed her to buy product they made major mistakes producing. This is not an isolated problem either. There are thousands of stories where Chinese manufacturers will steal your patterns and sell your product at a fraction of the cost. You will need to hire a lawyer in china to protect your IP or you will lose horribly in the end.
India and Mexico are the same way. As your business starts to grow...get a lawyer. Like what a boxing referree says to the fighters, "protect yourselves at all times".
Congratulations..from adversities to taking hold of your life and creating something that not only serves you but the community. Im so happy for you, so very inspiring🧡🌷🙏
I am so so thankful that Aami is here to tell her story. Poverty is so difficult and many get suicidal. But I want to encourage you to press on and persevere because you are so close to a breakthrough IF you are one who works on yourself and looks for a solution to your problems.
I feel so inspired from this woman's journey. Im going to use this energy as fuel to create my own business that provides financial stability for the sake of my toddler. Thanks for sharing. ❤
Amie, I love you!! I love your spirit and your stick-too-itiveness (that is a word, likely misspelled, lol). You are brilliant, you are real and you are NOT a quitter! CONGRATULATIONS on your well earned success!! I am old enough to be your mother and I am starting 2 new business - hey you get to my age, you don't waste time! Thank you for this awesome story! 😘💗
I doubled up on my last two years of school as well. I was on my own at 15, almost 16, so I worked full time at night. Then at 17 , I finished high school and I moved 3000 miles away to start my life. This woman did so well. She had no one to depend on so she did what she needed to . Good for her.
Knocked this one out of the park Davie, this was incredibly inspiring and super powerful. Also, whoever did the edit kudos to them it was really well put together.
My first thought was that big families are nice and so on but the exact reason why I don’t have more than 2 kids is that I know that I couldn’t take care of more kinds the way I think a child should be taken care of. I myself grew up in a big family and I know lot of families with more than 3 children and I see very few good examples. There are genuinely happy and healthy big families definitely but I think it’s really the minority, at least in the country where I live. Though my second thought was that this woman is so incredibly inspiring and I’m really thankful for this video!
I’m a bit confused. She didn’t create this type of diaper. It has been done before. So, I don’t understand why her audience thought it was a new product. Am I missing something??
Amy's story is truly inspiring, showcasing the power of resilience and innovation in entrepreneurship. Her ability to overcome challenges and build a successful business from home is a testament to her determination and creativity.
She really is inspiring. To have gone through all of that and still fought through. She's proof that hardship early in life truly can create some of the most amazing people in this world.
I am beyond excited about this sweet little company that this lady made! I want so badly to make big money as I was in the Travel Industry for 30 years and I’m now retired with very little money… I am very entrepreneurial and am looking for a way to do what she did! Does anyone have any ideas? I am single and 70 and look 50! I’m praying God will open a door for me! Thank you so much for your inspiration!! Much love to you!!❤
as a father, i had the same issue when the diaper was leaking, turned out it was what the big companies suppllied in North America were so much different than what they offered in Asian countries, so I had to turn to some other brands from Japan, solved the problem, just expensive, I think their prices were 20-30% more expensive than the local ones.
This is not what I ordered Hahahaha typical but Alibaba is such a blessing to humanity so many people having access to the biggest manufacturers at reasonable prices. Thanks China you don’t get enough praise and thanks from the western world.
Wow I never thought this nappies were still available I had a few of them years back in 1993 my daughter was born in 1992 iwas using them when iwas potty training her I still have one left kept it as a souvenir they were expensive then I could not buy a lot one nappy was equal to a pack of 6 )black label cotton nappies 70cmx 70cm so u can imagine Seeing your video just brought alot of memories my daughter is 32yrs now we're in South Africa born and bred may God expand your business you go girl
I don’t understand how ppl compete with Temu….everything is so cheap on there…I wanted to sew things too but then I did some research for competition and I just couldn’t compete with over seas China and Temu. So here I sit watching videos of ppl selling stuff but still don’t understand how they do it.
There’s always a market for unique, quality products that tell a story or cater to specific needs. If you have a passion for sewing, perhaps you could focus on niche items or custom pieces that can’t be easily found elsewhere. Building a brand around your craftsmanship and connecting with your audience can create value beyond just price.
Thanks for sharing your success story. It was inspiring! Just a question; you ordered pre-designed and cuts fabric from Alibaba and you sew them? Or finished products?
What A Amazing Story . My Son Was 1.06 kg. By Birth. Had to Cut Old ones in 4 to Make it Fit And Still falling off. He is 30 Years old Now. Never Forget Those days.

The typical "meritocracy" narrative with all the elements including the lack of truth 😂
The power of transparency is real! Amy's community didn't care about the product flaw, they just wanted to support her.
Well done.
We wore those nappies as children. It's beautiful to actually bring it back in 2000s
Amazing story, and thank you for highlighting it. ❤🎉🎉

Such an inspiring story and and more importantly, a truly inspirational human being. Thanks for sharing Davie!

Oh my gosh, I love this woman! So inspirational too. I love her Aussie accent.

What a beautiful honest down to earth story of success, it embraces the challenges, the tribulations, and the triumphs.
This woman is simply amazing. Strong, smart, ambitious - a true entrepreneur.
Amen love this! How I feel her story. Where is Her Channel please?
Great video, Davie! The first $100,000 invested was amazing. But when you hit $300,000 it’s like smashing the glass ceiling! I cried.

I've been considering but haven't been proactive. Can you recommend your advisor? Could really use some assistance.
Melissa Elise Robinson is the licensed advisor I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with to set up an appointment.
I looked up her name online and found her page. I emailed and made an appointment to talk with her. Thanks for the tip
What a fantastic story. Nearly didn't watch this but I learnt so much in this short video. 😊
