The Goat, no doubt about it. Charismatic, funny, confident, caring and brave, a real hero for the viewer to get behind. far better than any of the new lot in the modern series. Tom is and always will be The Doctor.
I started watching with eccelston as the doctor in 2005, but Genesis of the Daleks was the first classic story I saw on DVD in 2006 since then he has become my favourite doctor.
"Genesis of the Daleks" is a great set to wade into with Tom, some of DW's best writing, and Tom's acting of the era! I recommend "Pyramids of Mars" too.
Best Doctor. Also had the best companion: K-9 and Leela of the Seva Team. (Survey Team) Smashing good stuff. Special Mention to Colonel (then Brigadier) Lethbridge-Stewart and UNTIL.

Tom Baker- "the voice",aggressive, domineering, resourceful, simply the best

@ I’ve seen all of his era and the whole classic series including the recons my favourite story is the deadly assassin.
The best of them all.
Neck snap @ 4:35. The Doctor snaps necks?!
Don't worry, he didn't kill him, just kinda slowed him down a bit! 😄

All wonderful mentions. And we cannot forget Sarah Jane Smith.
He's 90 now
Yes, and hopefully will go on for some time longer!
91 on the 20th January.
The best doctor. I stopped watching the show after he left. It just wasn't any good anymore.
Loved Tom as a little boy. He remains my fav too!
If you stopped watching, how do you know it wasn't good?
@@MichaelJohnson-kq7qg Simple, Tom Baker wasn't in it. That's how.
@@EvilLordBane yeah, I think you misunderstood the question - if you haven't seen it, how do you know it wasn't good?
@@MichaelJohnson-kq7qg I think you misunderstood the answer, so I'll make it as simple as possible. No Tom = No Good.
