a big piece of the puzzle regarding the Imps comes from the first game. if you beat the game with all artifacts on, you unlocked the final artifact called Artifact of Origin which causes an Imp Vanguard to invade every 10 minutes. this implies that the Artifact of Origin is what the Imps seek. the possible reason as to why this artifact isn't in the second game is either a). you escaped the planet with it or b). it's in the void.
another bonus fact is regarding Deadbolt. the game takes place in, well, "The Place." it exists as a kind of purgatory/limbo where lost souls can never die nor move on unless they are killed by a Reaper. it is entirely possible that Deadbolt exists within the ROR games but not in a traditional sense.

This was breach of its basic protocol and was supposed to be shut down. Considering how you find him in the game, it's entirely possible that said shutdown was successful, but complicated. Void Reavers are thought to detain anything considered a danger, though at what scale differs from story to story. All we really know of them is that defeating Mithrix marks you as dangerous enough to detain, and having the strength to complete a loop does the same. I'm not 100% sold on the "her" mentioned by Mithrix in logs is N'Kuhana. I think there may be another one that will come in. Otherwise, a logbook from the DLC may be just what we need. The Parent is the youngest, like how a regular star is the youngest. It ages into a giant, much like the Grandparent. The giants either explode or shrink into a dwarf, which is the oldest, like the Child. Turning from a Grandparent to a Child would allow for creation of new Parents (stars) by scattering star-born materials. A giant is the best for creating new stars due to its high gravity, and as such the Grandparent incubates the egg. The young stars (Parents) have more power and thus are seen as watching over the small dwarfs (Children). Thus, the Child lays the egg, the Grandparent incubates it, the Parent hatches from it and takes care of the Child that made it, then the Parent ages into a Grandparent and then a Child. Also, we have no Child enemies in RoR2 even though they're in RoR1, implying that the survivor killed the Children and Grandparents from the last game, and only enough time has passed for the old Parents to turn into Grandparents. Not really gonna bother with levels 8 or 9 since those ideas are entirely speculative. We need some more logbooks to really work them out.

To be honest I feel like in the first game the jellyfish should explode and move slower like in the second game and in the second game they should move faster and do contact damage because in the first game it doesn't make sense that they move fast if you cant aim and in the second game it doesn't really make sense that they move slow because you can just snipe them from far away
The glass frog on commencement now serves a purpose in the DLC, Pretty cool!
Dude! I thought you were a long tome video maker! Great job!
21:12 I agree. Reading the entry for Planula annoyed me SO intensely.
among us jumpscared me
THIS WAS YOUR FIRST VIDEO??? I THOUGHT I WAS WATCHING SOME ESTEEMED LORE UA-camR.
Pretty solid quality and enjoyable content for a first video ever
Watched this video at work, thanks for making it less tedious with this great video! I subbed, keep making content!!
This was an awesome video, got a sub and a few laughs out of me, I'm excited to see whatever you put out next.
I think the transcendence log is from the time that the space ship crashed on the moon and the old survivors are mentioned in it
28:27 the devs showed the model and said it was just some design not ment to be anything
Better mic quality...and this channel Will one of the best
I believe the rex mastery skin was changed before the anniversary update and was supposed to change with the season but they only did it once.
Transcendence as a parallel to the Ahamkara from Destiny is a really sick idea
I remember reading the transcendence log for the first time and been hit with a sudden feel of existential dread of my own mortality that i have forgotten... til now
The transcendence look book was incredible
legit really good man
Informative and funny, good job man
that transcendence logbook entry is some 5th wall breaking shit
You got a real good start here a little better audio would make you perfect. You edit like a pro I hope you keep doing youtube.
I always assumed Rex got ejected out of whatever ship he was on and eventually landed on petrichor v, which is why he’s buried and broken in the abyssal depths
great video dude
Nice video Mr.Kang! Thanks for the extra knowledge
I'm pretty late here but you can also oneshot voidling by launching it off the stage as mercenary the same way you would any other enemy with the dash
I fuck so incredibly heavy with this game and it’s lore. Little fun fact for those going for monster logs, the 57 leaf clover increases your chance at getting a log.
The Transcendence log is some creepy shit 🙃
TY for the video. At first I thought it will be some kind of funny shitpost but it was an interesting video that summarizing many theories surrounding the game.
for someone who says this is his first video this seems pretty professional
I like your comedy, you earned a sub, keep it up
14:07 I randomly encountered this bug awhile ago and I was very confused
apparently the new void fiend that just got released is commando from ror1 which is interesting
this was a great video. i was reluctent at first bc of audio quality but it was really well made
One thing I always think about is the Ancient Wisp boss from RoR1 being present in RoR2's files
awesome!
