Tanks, Scott. Glad to see some Monkees in your collection ! Pisces, Aquarius etc is my favourite, and the Head soundtrack has some fine stuff ie Can You Dig It. I dig The Monkees and I dig your shows !
cool collection Scott. A couple different ones I have, Liquid Tension Experiment, Monster Magnet and an absolute great find May Blitz. Of course, all Marillion and Neal Morse.
as I showed on my channel back in 2023, I actually have 4 copies of Clutching at Straws on Vinyl; although it's hardly hard to find or all that spendy typically. Let me know and I may be able to send you one (it'd be used of course).
Mott The Hoople, Minutemen, Mahavishnu Orchestra and Moon Safari. Always appreciate the journey through your vinyl collection, Scott. And since you mentioned them, what Husker Du releases do you have? I know as soon as I heard Bob Mould's guitar on Metal Circus, I was in love. I also have Zen Arcade, New Day Rising, Flip Your Wig and The Living End. One of my all-time favorite bands. Again, your A-Z videos are a lot of fun to watch. Looking forward to the next one.
How about a Monkees ranking , they're great ! I too need to complete my Mars Volta collection , and Midlake , wow they're fantastic. The Courage of Others is very Proggy. The Resistance is probably my favourite MUSE album after Origin of Symmetry , and finally just have to mention ( or did I miss it ) , a total lack of Mamas and the Papas... not sure if you are a fan or not Scot. Love these collection vids man , so interesting to see. 😍🎵🎵🤘
I actually own the original South African Vertigo pressing of Duncan Mackay's Chimera! It's the only South African-pressed vinyl I own. It's not cheap but the copy I bought I was able to afford so I jumped on it.
Love Neal Morse. He is already a great musician and composer, but we don"l worth in the real dimensión his work. He is a genius. I think he was touch by God's hand to have a stunning endless talent and inspiration
Cool collection. You know of course that the five albums by Magazine recently have been reissued? Just get them! I spend some money on No Thyself OG before I knew ....
@@lemming9984 Yes, Real Life. But Still Life is probably the best Van der Graaf album. Second Hand Daylight is one of the most sinister post punks albums ever, kinda makes Pornography seem lame.
@@TheProgCorner Second Hand Daylight is one of my favourite albums. Have you heard Shouting And Pointing by Mott? The second Hunter-less album, produced by Eddie Kramer. Superb underrated hard rock record. Fine eclectic selection as always sir!

Did I hear correctly that you think Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge is My Chemical Romance’s only good album? For me, The Black Parade has so many little nods to classic rock songs and bands that it resonates with many of us who certainly do not identify as “emo” kids. Bowie, Queen, and a touch of Pink Floyd references are all to be found in The Black Parade, making it something I can relate to.
Back to Scot’s album collection. Fun So keeping true to form I’ll keep with my format. So under the letter L I have 44 different artists. It starts with L’Rain. In the middle I’ve got Ramsey Lewis and bringing up the rear I’ve got Lynyrd Skynyrd. On to M. M and S are my two biggest sections. So under M I have 144 different artists. It starts with M-Opus. In the middle there’s Mira Calix and it finishes up with My Morning Jacket. In between all that I’ve got all the usual suspects and more. I realize it’s futile to list my stuff but it makes me happy. On to the letter N Scot.
Hi Scott, please give a listen to "Long Distance Calling - Is this how we want to live?" It's a German band and this album is fantastic on vinyl. Keep on proggin'!

I need to repurchase all my Hüsker Dü vinyl!!!!
@TheProgCorner I would think that it's going to be hard to find them on vinyl. CDs might be your best bet.
You know how I feel about this….
The very best in this video imho is your T SHIRT !!!!!!!!!
The new echolyn has a song that starts off all lo-fi and it sounds (for the first 20 seconds) like Pollard!!!! I wonder…
Duncan Mackay - Chimera - what an album , by far his best solo effort . I'm guessing thats the Missing Vinyl Reissue. Great collection man
For sure it’s the reissue!!!! That South African Vertigo version is a bit pricey!!!!

Andy Edwards would not be happy to see that you do not have “Visions of the Emerald Beyond”. Max Tundra though! Wooo
I need that one!!! And Max Tundra rules!!!

They should be!!!

Hey Scot,
Great collection there.
Are most of those Italian prog albums originals or reissues? They are in awesome condition by the looks!
All reissues!!!! (I’m a poor man.)
