പഥേർ പാഞ്ചാലി ആദ്യമായി അവസാനമായും കാണുന്നത് നാലാം ക്ലാസിൽ പഠിക്കുമ്പോഴാണ് 20 വർഷങ്ങൾക്കു മുൻപ്.. ഇന്നും ഇതിനെപ്പറ്റി കേൾക്കുമ്പോൾ അതിലെ സീനുകൾ മനസ്സിലൂടെ ഒരു ഗൃഹാതുരത്വത്തോടുകൂടി കടന്നുപോകുന്നു..
