    This actually works, I just slipped mine into a mavic zoom for a few seconds then into original charging dock and boom now getting green flashing lights from the charger.
    My batteries were in a state of no light whatsoever.
    Cheers mate

      I'm going to have to try this again. I originally charged all 3 in my hub when I first got my MA2. Everything was fine. They all worked. Now, this past weekend I go to fly and only 2 of 3 batteries were working. The "bad" battery won't light up, won't charge, and won't turn on. I did put it back in my drone and tried to power it up, but nothing. I immediately put it on the single charger without the hub and it still didn't light up or charge. I have an open ticket with DJI but I don't want to pay $65 just for them to look at it and tell me that I need to buy a new battery. I'm going to try this after work today.

    I just bought a used fly-more for a ridiculous price of of £680, considering stated never used. Batteries wouldn't charge. Looks like the seller couldn't get them to charge (probably used multi-charger) - they wouldn't charge with single or multi-charger when I received it through the post. Tried this and it is the only think that worked. All three have charged and showing 'times charged' = 1 on each of them. Happy days and a big thank-you; I was considering returning it to seller, until I tried this 🙂👍

      I’m guessing the battery was fully charged and had entered self storage charge mode wheee the battery converts its energy to heat until it’s at storage charge (65%) this could be alarming but in all likelihood it’s fine. If this was a hobby lithium battery with out a battery management system board and it got hot I would put it on the ground and step way back

    • @timwingnut
      @timwingnut 8 місяців тому

      The lifespan varies greatly depending on how well you treat your batteries. Always charge them after draining them and never run them below 20% and never store them full or empty. Store at 65% charge and they will last a long time. You can replace the lithium cells but I only recommend that if you are sure in your capabilities because opening batteries can be dangerous needless to say

      @@OttoJulian_ Ah, I have tried several ways, even freeze it, but the old Air 1 battery is dead. Here's a question I can't confirm. Can I use my Air2 batteries in the Air 2S ?

      @@dr.dougdroneson4239 if they are dead I highly suggest to leave them like that. As for the other question, yes, the Air 2 batteries will work on the Air 2S. Actually, let me rephrase, they are exactly the same batteries

    • @OttoJulian_
      @OttoJulian_  3 роки тому +1

      @@dr.dougdroneson4239 oh wow. Yeah though question to answer. I had the Air 2 and I sold it for 2 reasons. The main one and most important for me it's the sensor size, better pictures, better video quality, etc. Everything else is pretty much the same and there are things that are not really worth an upgrade, like masterworks, more sensors, etc. If you are happy with the quality that you have now with your sensor on the Air 2, I would wait until the Mavic 3 comes out or even the Air 3. I hope this helps

      I see. This video is intended for batteries that won’t turn on for the first time. If your batteries have been used and charged already in the past, and now they are not working, there is another problem with the batteries, although some people have said that my solution did help them having your same issue, but I cannot verify exactly what the conditions were. I would send your batteries to an authorized DJI dealer to check them out
