I re-geared my 450nk, not MT, but NK. It does 100mph at 10k rpm in 3rd gear, top speed in 4th gear (120-125 mph) and still can do 80-90mph in 6th gear. My bike has a 18/38t gearing. For the MT you can do a 16t with stock rear sprocket for higher top speed. It should be able to hit 100mph. Mine should be able to hit 120-125mph if it wasnt for the death wobble.
great video! I bought the original 15T a month ago but I haven't changed it yet. I'm looking forward to it. Going on highways with the 14T is not ideal
@@exploreR3ality By the way, I have a 15 sprocket on stock, just in case I will make a bigger roundtrip with friends. So I can cope better with "highway sessions" Sprocket is changed in 20 minutes.
Hello, is the pinion on the back the stock 47 or did you change that too? Very big improvement for driving on the highway. Have you lost a lot of torque?
@@redbluedanielful it is stock on the back. You lose torque offcourse, but for my kind if riding (slow :) ), not that much. It is good that it can be changed easy, so when i plan long touring rides on road - i ll be puting 15t.
@@exploreR3ality Hmmm... It’s quite disappointing, actually. I was expecting the fuel efficiency to improve to at least 25 km/l after switching to a 15T/45 sprocket, especially when riding at a constant speed of 120 km/h... at least.
@@exploreR3ality I know speed sensor is on front wheel, but you are wrong. Back tyre changes everything. I would guess you put 130/80 r18. That's why most people thinks you changed rear sprocket too. It's like you have 16T front sprocket. You should mention it in title so people don't get confused.
Yes rear tyre qould change it so 15t plus 80 ratio would ease the rev, i heard going 150/70 rear tyre is equivalent to a 15t front sprocket. So I'm gonna put the stock 14T again when it's time to change the wheels.
It helps, but CF Moto should have made the 6th gear longer. The 2025 CF needs new emissions standards in Europe and I'm curious whether the Chinese will revise the gearbox/gear ratio/software.
Actually my bike was wobbling at 130kmh and more, so i wanted to make sure that it is not caused by windshield and handguards. Turns out it was actually me - i was holding handlebar to tight and this made the bike wobble in some cases. All is good now, although the bike is out of it's comfort zone on those speeds (understandable)
@@AgricUltra Well that depends on many things (height, body type, helmet , position). But for me - no, all is good on 110 - 120 kmh with 45 cm windshield. I can ride whole day like that with no problems. Off course ear plugs are must have .
Not really. For reference, my 450nk accelerates way faster than stock 450nk. I went from oem 14 or 15/41 to a 18/38 with just intake and exhaust mods done. It gets 0-100 mph in 4 seconds, provided you start from 10mph (rolling stop at idle rpm). Bike does 100mph at 10k rpm in 3rd gear. I save so much time by not needing to shift to 4th or 5th like stock. Basically you trade a 6 speed in to a 3 speed, with 4th speed as top speed gear, and 5th and 6th as overdrive gears for lower highway rpm and better mpg.

I got few questions.
1. What size of your rear sprocket?
2. How much km/l did u get when cruising at 120km/h?
1. It is oem, should be 45t
2. I would say 4.5 l/100km, should be 22 - 23 km per l .
Maybe even less :) I am not sure :)

The problem is the availability of the original tire dimension 140/70/18 as an enduro tire. At least in Europe, the 70 is an exotic.
