We end winter by embarking on a 4-day camping adventure to northern New Mexico, in the Santa Fe National Forest, fishing in the Pecos River, and ending it at the top of the Rio Grande Gorge!

Good friends, good fires, good food and drinks, enjoying God's country in all its glory...doesn't get any better than this. Glad you made it up to northern New Mexico to see some different and beautiful areas. Somewhat sad that Cuervo couldn't be there with you guys, at least his music was included to up the ambiance. Upper Pecos is a good spot as are most of the rivers, streams and lakes in northern NM. Great video James, thanks for the trip. See ya soon.

For your next trout in foil: butter, garlic(wild is best), salt and pepper. In the coals along the edges of the fire for about the same as you did there. The Corporal sent me over, I think I could stand to learn a bit more about desert life! I live in the Boreal forests of BC, CANADA.

Only dislike on the video it wasn’t long enough! 😢I absolutely loved this collaboration and would have watched it through if it was 3 hrs long honestly which says alot for me lol and total bonus that bluebird! I’ll pass this on to my ex girlfriend that just recently put out a bluebird feeder and a nesting box hoping to have some babies in her back yard so I’ll pass info on about the mustard dots pretzels cause we have em here in Ohio lol. Looks like a good time! Spent most of my Childhood in the Pecos and still do, live twenty miles away. Lots of places off the beaten path to campout, hunt and fish. Haven't spent much time in Southern NM but Northern NM is my back yard, plenty of places to get your boots good and dirty lol Take care James.

My dad has 3/4 of a 55 gallon of paint thinner in his shop. Whenever we need to start a fire we just get a small can of that stuff. His job screwed up and he bought it off of them for really cheap and has had it for twenty years
