I love your channel because it really shows me what living outside the sheltered modern society is like. I don't think I can hunt and skin animals, which I hate because I feel useless in case of necessity. However, channels like yours bring a reality that I've never experienced, which I'm very grateful for. ❤️ BTW, Loved the scene on the river! Nice spine lung shot James. next lets us see your boots get dirty but your hands as well, Its life brother. Dig in your die... Kill it, skin it, cook it, eat it. life Raja.!
Great video. And excellent shot on that bore. Most people when boar hunting just take a shot and sit back. But you had the wind at your feet man. I sincerely appreciate the desire to ensure a quick and humane kill. Those are really nice looking blades. God bless. PS. Who can complain about the control of horrifically destructive and invasive species such as that.?
The tiny fish - filet, cut into small pieces, pan fry till crispy with butter, salt and and a little lemon - then throw into some scrambled eggs, and add hot sauce to taste?
Hey, at least you didn't get skunked, you get to bring home some bacon. An I have to say, seeing all that fat on that hog, even tho its a boar, he should be pretty tasty, just cook him slow an that meat should just fall apart, thx for the vid.
That I am 99.999% positive is an orb-weaver spider. Black widows prefer being secluded. We had thousands of orb-weaver spiders in Virginia, and here in west TX too. We also have a LOT of black widows here in west Texas as well.
junkyard, you don't need that cannon for hogs. Get yourself something smaller, 223, 243 and head shoot the pigs. I use a 17WSM and exclusively head shoot everything. The smaller calibers are more fun and better to hone your larger caliber skills.
My family is from around this part of the Hill Country. You should visit the Frio River next time you are in South Texas. It's a beautiful place - one of those landscapes that you know is sacred just by the vibe you get being in it.
Send me some pig meat or I’ll be 😢. Noticed you using hand reals which are great for hiking camping even a big out bag I use the yoyito and I love it well made tough system it can be setup on a tree so u don’t have to stand there all days decent distance good hand holding spots comes in a pouch with hooks weights etc but even in it’s case it’s basically the same size of it outside it’s case well well thought out hand reel. I have seen the ones your using and they look good with choices between different wood handles and looks like a good choice also but I love my Yoyito hand reel alout and I wouldn’t never buy another type of hand reel Yoyito for life even exotac has just come out with a hand reel which is just a Yoyito clone.
Hey James just out of curiosity (forgot to ask this when you uploaded the video) but do you know what knives your friend was using to cut into the pig? Also i agree with him that the next snake eater should have a gut hook. In fact his gut hook knife looks like it couldve been a snake eater.
Fantastic adventure, James, et al! What a wonderfully productive, fun and relaxing contrast to just a few months back with the vandalized vehicle crap. And any excuse to pull out the Snake Eaters and Jake's Adventure Craft knife is always a plus. Very cool video, brother. Happy for ya.
nice video homie!! place looks awesome n surreene... better than the sirens around my hood. lol... anywayz, stay safe , be kool, stay hydrated, say whats up to Cuervo... i still have your bandana and Cuervos CD btw... stay up bros.
As the economy is shifting, you need to have legitimate and creative sources of extra incomes. There are opportunities available that people have been using for years now.
Very informative video, I hate to say it but out on our property we leave them for coyotes and buzzards for most of the year (except deer season to mix in with sausage), they're bad for our cattle and horses
Great shot! I've always wondered how one processed a pig. That Snake Eater worked out nicely too! Can't wait to take mine fishing in a few weeks! Atb Sean
Dang man nice pig! That knife looks like it worked great! I've only butchered one hog but I've done a shit load of deer, fish, squirrel, turkey and one cow lol. Great video!
Nice trip James looks like a great time.is that a baitstand lit up for deer to eat out of and be shot, never enjoyed that in of hunting. U did slay a nice 🐗. The 🐟,I'd let go to little. Take care James 👍
Got a boar in Canada and the meat was kinda tuff but I eat it and would again. I’ve hunted a few squirrels also and the meat was great reminded me of dark chicken had it over rice surprisingly tasty.
It's weird to see hunting like this i grew up riding horses/hiking to find deer/elk and setting yourself up for a shot. not sitting in a blind baiting them in. Different strokes i guess. Love your videos and appriciate the respect for wild life you have. Ive used the knife i won for skinning large and smalle game as well as for fish thanks againg better luck next hint i did not draw for anything this year.

Good shot and good job processing with the Snake Eater! People look at me funny when I tell them that if they raise an animal from a baby and kill it or hunt it and kill it, then gut/skin and butcher it, their respect for life and meat INCREASES because they are close to the animal. This is the way to live my friend. Well done!
I really enjoyed this one. It's good to see you guys in "new" environments. The Nueces was beautiful. The facilities were great, though I wonder if most of the game has learned to avoid the blinds. Good to see you use the Snakeeaters.
Glad you and Cuervo had a nice time and you harvested a top hog. Perfect size for butchering! Great shot. IMO, you 2 would be more comfortable wearing hot weather clothes instead of cool weather clothes....especially if you'd wear hot weather hats instead of cool weather hats.

Save the tusks for Cuervo Leather Works

Finally a hunting episode! So happy! Cool place, nice digs.

Javelina be desperation food though! Also that be a Bengal cat. Very pretty.
