I love that the goddess is in your "usual" style, but then the environment looks more like traditional Chinese art. I love hearing your thoughts behind this piece and the rest of the pieces you'll be debuting in your collection. I too have been trying to think more about my culture and my childhood and wanting to incorporate that more into my art. I can't wait to see the rest of the pieces. Your work is always lovely.

This is so gorgeous!! I love the depth and how lively the girl looks and how well she fits into the simpler mountains without them looking fake with her... if that makes sense. Super cool, I really love this collection!
I really love the song that played in the beginning, it went really well with the painting, making the painting even more regal. I wish I knew the song. The painting is beautiful by the way, and I think you did a great job with the oil/ watercolor aesthetic. The figure obviously looks done in oil but her environment looks like it was done in watercolor.

Beautiful painting! I really liked the hybrid effect of having a water color illusion around the landscape and then having an oil based effect with the portrait. I think it really works.

Congratulations,you must be very excited..I love this painting..I spent nearly 3yrs in HongKong as a child and I remember many happy times there with my parents..the lovely people I met and all the amazing colours..I Love Chinese artwork and I used to love to see the dancing..all happy memories from so very long ago when my parent were still here..She fits in beautifully..I hope your show is a success ..Well I am sure it will be 😀
